Don't worry Sri Lanka. Our Indian citizens & NGO goons are going to make sure that none of the newly proposed nuclear plants gets operational. We pose no threat to you.

Look at the brighter side.

Now that the "Sinhalas" have opposed the nuke plant, it will hurt Tamil pride and all those protesting will start to support the nuke plant.

Good result for India in the end.

SL raises concern about India's nuclear plants and it may approach IAEA in September.

.
Does that nation's concerns even matter ?

God forbid, if in case of a disaster they get affected..I will think that as cosmic justice.

Everything is resolved now .I think we dissolved the resolution instead we might have stayed away from resolution without voting as that rajapakshe thanked both who didt vote and vote against

I don't think that it would matter anyways since foreign-funded goons were thrashed by Lathis of the police and sent packing. That'd send a message not to mess with our internal energy needs. :D

But honestly, SL was the last country I expected that would show concerns on a nuke plant.

Anyway, nice try but guess this won't have any effect since the plant is in OUR territory and we are free to do what we like on our land. SL can go and clean Chinese shoes now.

This is wrong move, more of a political gimmick nothing else. They want India to help them (Pay the money) in case if some thing goes wrong that's all. If they whine in IAEA for this, doesn't matter, no agency can make any resolution for such cases. They have to plead India for such support.

Then India can't do nothing even if China placed ICBM in SL!
We don't need A-5 to reach Lanka you know.

And after Lankan Claims have been put to rest. It will get an international nod. And than there wont be any more reasons to fear for the protestors
