Imphal/Kohima : Indian Army commandos have attacked a NSCN-K camp in Myanmar, inflicting some casualties, an army source said on Thursday.
“A team of 12 Para Commandos attacked a check post of the NSCN-K (National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang) situated in the vicinity of its Shwelo camp inside Myanmar on Wednesday. The gunfight continued for half hour,” an army official told IANS.
The rebels suffered at least four to five casualties on the NSCN-K rebels, he said, adding there was no casualty on the army side.
The commandos were equipped with rocket launchers, mortars and automatic grenade launcher to carry out the strike, he said, adding the operation lasted for two hours after being started at 2 p.m.
According to the official, the area of operation was 3 km beyond border pillar 151 on the India-Myanmar border across Nagaland’s Mon district.
The pursuit of the rebels was undertaken after three Assam Rifles personnel and three others were wounded in an ambush by NSCN-K rebels in Mon on June 18.
NSCN-K’s Deputy Minister, ‘Colonel’ Isak Sumi, confirmed that Indian Army “in huge numbers” crossed Chenmoh village and arrived at the international boundary some kilometres away from the “Naga Army” (NSCN-K) forward post, but were detected.
“On realisation that their presence has already been detected they resorted to blank firings randomly for several minutes to which the Naga Army responded and prevented any further advance. Casualties could not be ascertained,” Sumi wrote on his Facebook page.
The NSCN-K faction abrogated a ceasefire signed in 2001 with the Indian government on March 27, 2015, just a month before the truce was up for renewal.
Subsequently, they went on a killing spree, attacking Indian soldiers in Nagaland and Manipur. The outfit even mounted the deadly ambush on a convoy of the 6 Dogra Regiment in Manipur’s Chandel district on June 4, 2015, killing 18 soldiers.
Following this, the elite army special forces personnel entered Myanmar, raided two insurgent camps and inflicted “significant casualties”.

No the sons of whores r hiding behind army. In order to project their 56" breast they r publishing cross border ride as a surgical strike.
lol you know more than Lt.General Hooda or Lt.General Bhatia who went on record to say that this was not a cross border raid like done before. this was a surgical strike across a 250 km long LoC. first learn military terms before posting on a defense forum

Another Surgical Strike ! Indian Army’s Para Commandos kill five NSCN-K rebels in Myanmar
Indian Army’s para commandos have reportedly gunned down five rebels of the SS Khaplang faction of National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-K) in a surgical strike inside Myanmar.

According to defence sources, the attack was carried out by commandos of 12 Para on Wednesday afternoon, targeting the Shwelo camp of the NSCN-K three kilometres inside Myanmar, bordering Nagaland. The operation reportedly lasted two hours, following which the commandos returned.

The NSCN-K confirmed the incident but said the “Indian Army” retreated following blank shelling and firing.

“The Indian Army in huge number crossed Chenmoh village and arrived at the international boundary some kilometres away from the Naga Army forward post, and on realisation that their presence has already been detected, they resorted to blank firing randomly for several minutes to which the Naga Army responded and prevented any further advance. They retreated when we responded. Casualties could not be ascertained,” NSCN-K spokesman Isak Sumi said.

The incident came days after the outfit had killed two Assam Rifles personnel in an ambush in Nagaland’s Mon district. Even on Thursday, suspected NSCN-K rebels attacked a patrol of 7 Assam Rifles which was en route to Kiphire town from Meluri in Nagaland, by triggering an IED blast. One jawan was injured in the attack.

The Mumbai 26/11 was a strike on Indian economy. Now I don't know why and who is behind, but Pakistan's economy is doomed in the past 10 years. They are begging with bowls all around the world, be it China, UK, Sweden, or US. But unfortunately, the civilian population in Punjab region is still rich as they have started depending less on the government and rather pay the government only the cut. Almost every one of there hide taxes after all.

Indian armed forces have regularly attacked Pakistan across LoC. Questioning that would be idiotic. It's just that Surgical Strikes were bigger in scope & they forced Pakistani army in face saving mode.
Exactly see Gen.Hooda's interview on republic tv the first strike began at around midnight last strike around 5:00 a.m even mahroof raza said on times now in arnab's show the scale of the strike was phenomenal and it will be used as case study by other special forces not to forget Phone call from US nsa susan rice to our nsa ajit doval us have satellites they knew what we did that night some say phone call was panic call from US that night I still believe that even after releasing video footage of Surgical Strikes Army has not given away anything
lastly it was punch on the face of Raheel Shariff the demi god status that he enjoyed thanks to his twitter general asim bajwa pr capabilities took a serious dent when India announced Surgical Strike after this probably nawaz shariff put his foot down and refused to give extension to raheel shariff and thank you raheel shariff posters and trends got vanished

Nothing big, it is the usual thing in LoC. Pakis continue to send terrorists. We r defending.
Surgical strike or any strike is the best defense. A lot of that has been happening since 2014 which explains the desperation among Pakistanis who engineer terrorist enfranchise.
