KARACHI / SUKKUR / HYDERABAD
: A complete shutter-down and wheel-jam strike was observed in the districts of Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas divisions and upper Sindh on Wednesday on the call of Sindhi nationalist parties against the attack on the Mohabat-e-Sindh rally in Karachi.

The Awami Tehreek (AT) president Ayaz Latif Palijo, who was leading the rally on Tuesday, said that the Mohabat-e-Sindh rally will be organised in Larkana on May 25, adding that AT will set up two-day camps in Sindh to receive condolences. He demanded that the government provide compensation of Rs5 million for the people who were killed in Karachi and Rs3 million for the injured.

The strike in Hyderabad was in part also a reaction to the killing of Muzaffar Bhutto, the Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM) general secretary, whose body was found in Hyderabad after a 15-month long disappearance.

All the educational institutions, including three universities in Jamshoro and one in rural Hyderabad, were closed. The ongoing exams being conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas were also disrupted......

Yes. Indians should support us. We sindhis share the common secular and liberal nature with indians. But punjabi media, taliban, and the isi want us to be like them.. Recently these terrorists organization like LeT and Wahabis Mullahs working under isi have started building several maddaresahs in sindh for extrmist n radical education. U see there is not even a single sindhi taliban or Lashkar e tayyaba man. Not even a single sindhi has been found involved in terrorism inside n outside pakistan. These are all radical n extremist punjabis n pushtuns n nothern tribal people. Here in sindh we sindhi muslims n sindhi hindus have been living together peacefully since centuries. Even there was no act of voilence in sindh during india pak partition. It only started after those immigrants arrived n they started killing. We sindhi nationalists think of it a greatest loss to sindh n sindhi language when sindhi hindus left sindh after partition. Sindhi hindus were backbone to sindh. There are more than 20% hindus now in sindh. We dont treat them as minority we the nationalists think of them as our brothers n equal sindhis. They r the geniune real sindhis living here since moen jo darro era.

created always run back to bite the creator
Sindh was not created by india. Sindh is there since pre historic era.. Moen jo darro is evidence of it .. The Indus civilization was there.. Sindhu mata and sindhu river are mentioned in mahabharat also.. Sindh was an independent country before british occupation. All our identity has lost after forceful joining with pakistan. Sindh n sindhis never wanted to merge with pakistan. GM sayed the great sindhi nationalist prophet got a resolution passed from sindh assembly in 1942 in favor of the so called lahore resolution. The lahore resolution never mentioned pakistan it only stated that westren muslim majority states should be sovereign n autonomous. So sindhi assembly voted for sovereign n autonomous sindh in 1942 not for dirty pakistan. We will surely make sindhudesh we will surely make indepedent sindh.

I have asked you this question many times. Why about the bloody Mohajirs in Sindh? How will you tackle them? They will block any attempt of Sindh going free. There has to be a plan, a leadership, a movement.

Sindhi Nationalists Protest against Punjabi Shenzhen

By B. Raman

President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan was in Beijing from June 5 to 7, 2012, to attend the summit of the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation (SCO) of which Pakistan, like India, Iran and Afghanistan, is an observer.

2.During Zardari's stay in Beijing, officials of the two countries signed three memoranda of understanding (MoUs) covering supply of water from Tarbela to Islamabad, the establishment of a Special Economic Zone in the proposed new city Zulfikarabad in Sindh and the building there of 6,000 flats on private-public partnership basis. They also signed an agreement for Chinese assistance in the de-silting of canals and barrages in the Sindh province.

3. After Mr. Zardari's return from China, it was reported that he has directed the Sindh Government to identify a million acres (4,000 km²) of land near the coast in Thatta district for the development of the proposed new city, in memory of the late Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. The proposed location of the city would be near Jherek in Thatta district.

4. It was also reported that Mr. Zardari sought Chinese assistance to make Zulfikarabad into a major special economic zone patterned after Shenzhen in southern China's Guangdong province where China's first SEZ was set up and where the Chinese economic miracle started.

5. Reports about Mr. Zardari's plans to create, with Chinese assistance, a Pakistani Shenzhen in the Thatta area of Sindh have caused serious concerns among sections of the Sindhi nationalists, who fear that the Chinese-aided project might result in the eviction of the Sindhi peasants from the area and the ingress of a large number of Punjabi businessmen and ex-servicemen into the area to make the city a Punjabi Shenzhen in the heart of Sindh.

6. The protesting Sindhi nationalists claim that the Chinese-aided construction of the Gwadar port in Balochistan resulted in the ingress of a large number of Punjabi businessmen and construction companies into the area, transforming Gwadar, which was essentially a Baloch fishing village, into a Punjabi colony in the heart of Balochistan.

7. Many Sindhis fear that a similar fate might befall Thatta and that the Punjabis would be the ultimate beneficiaries of the project. Mr.Zardari's Pakistan People's Party (PPP), which strongly supports the project, has undertaken a campaign to educate the Sindhis that the project would benefit Sindh and the Sindhis and that the fears voiced by the Sindhi nationalists were baseless. The inauguration of the construction of the project, originally due in the last week of June, has reportedly been postponed for giving time to address the concerns of the Sindhi nationalists.

8. In their campaign to remove the fears of the Sindhi nationalists, PPP leaders have been saying that the proposed SEZ would have a special regulatory regime to ensure that the locals have the priority over jobs and other opportunities, that the inflow of people from other parts of the country is controlled by introducing work permits and that land could only be leased with ownership remaining with the locals.

9.PPP leaders have also been promising that as part of the Chinese-aided project, the road, rail and port (Keti Bunder) infrastructure in the area will be upgraded and a number of technical and vocational training institutions will be started to train Sindhis to take up jobs in the SEZ and to start their own small and medium scale industries

10. Despite this, Sindhi nationalist parties such as the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) have started a protest movement against the project. On July 12, 2012, the JSQM took out a protest rally against the proposed project in Karachi. JSQM leaders had planned to march to the Chinese Consulate-General in Karachi to hold a demonstration, but the police prevented them from going there.

11. The protesters then staged a sit-in on the National Highway and destroyed over 1000 SIM cards of their Chinese mobile sets. Dr. Niaz Kalani, the acting Chairman of the JSQM, who led the protest rally, announced that more protest rallies and sit-in demonstrations against the Chinese Government would be held from July 18.An appeal was issued to the Sindhis to boycott Chinese goods and a Chinese cell phone service provider. :taunt::laugh:Among other JSQM leaders who participated in the protest were Mr. Asif Baladi, Mr.Sagar Hanif Burrdi, Mr. Sarfraz Memon and Mr. Maqsood Qureshi. yes, we sindhi are in contact with our baloch brothers. And hopefully, sooner we will engage pakjabi army & the flithy ISI in a war. The ISI & Military intelligence of Pak army are already carrying out an operation against Sindhi nationalists & freedom fighters. We are fighting on our own. Our reteliation and fight will grow stronger if we get some external help.

Balochistan and SindhuDesh needs "Moral Support" from the world so that terrorist menace of Pakjabis can be controlled.

:balochistan:..........:sindhudesh:

The stuggle might not give quick fruits and can be bloody but in the long term they can have a brighter future for their future generations by dis-engaging arrogant Pakjabis from their iron-fist ruthless control.

Examle is Bangladesh.

No operation is going on in sindi against the so called sindhi separatist.

These so called sindhi separatists parties are nothing.
No political support, no popular leadership and hardly any support among the masses.
Except few, all sindi separatists parties and leaders have now turn down the slogan of sindhudesh.
Look at Paleejo/his son and party, the JSQM leaders, mumtaz bhutto, the grand son of G.M Syed and many others, all have put a side the separatist politics, they are all doing sindi nationalist politics and making political alliances with National parties like PPP, PML(N), PML(F) etc.

After the g.M Syed death, Pakistani establishment has very easily divided the so called separatists leaders in different parties and reduced their size to extinction.

These Sindhi separatists are in no position to win even a Councillor seat in local body election neither they have any active militant group Like BLA, BRA which can challenge the government authority.
