The state of Uttar Pradesh is currently in the heat of assembly elections, with party representatives once again trying their level best to woo Indian citizens with serpentine speech and shallow gimmicks.

The latest locking of horns between Congress general Secretary Rahul Gandhi and former Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Uma Bharti offer little hope for residents of Uttar Pradesh, in providing a real leader that truly cares for the welfare of people and most importantly the rights of almighty God.

Debates are typically marred with childish insults void of any substance and ultimately do not provide any lasting solutions to fundamental problems facing India such as poverty and widespread corruption.

The people of Uttar Pradesh and the whole of India must be aware that their politicians are tyrants and that voting for such men or women to legislate man-made law is an act of polytheism (shirk). Muslims in India must steer clear from all electoral polls and place their trust in Allah alone by adhering strictly to the traditions (sunnah) of the final Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Such trust demands reigniting the winds of conquest that blew over India, Pakistan and Bangladesh over 1000 years ago and that vanquished man-made oppression with golden Islamic governance.

Muslims must seek to take authority in India and establish the Shariah, returning sovereignty and supremacy back to almighty Allah.

There is a consensus among all Muslim scholars that it is not permitted for non-Muslims to have authority over Muslims.

Allah says in the Quran, "I have created you (Muslims) a leading Ummah (nation) in order to witness the affairs of mankind." [EMQ 2:143]

Islam is the only religion to have maintained its relationship with God, with a miraculous book called the Quran and meticulous sciences that ensure texts recorded during the life of the final Messenger Muhammad can be verified, understood and authenticated. This cannot be said for any of the other world religions, which have literally been lost in translation.

Fundamentally however, Islam is not a secular religion and unlike the 'biggest democracy in the world' always refers its governance back to the supreme commander, Allah (God).

The Islamic constitution remains intact 1400 years after its inception, and emphatically puts the Indian constitution to shame. Political parties such as the BJP and Indian Congress have let India down because just like their British predecessors they were never suited to be rulers and so ruined their country with backward and evil policies.

India needs to return back to her glorious Islamic past. India needs a Muslim revolution.

The terms Hindu or Hinduism are usually associated with individuals who follow a mixture of beliefs originating from the Indian Subcontinent. Religious practises include the worship of God via mediums such as idols, parents or saints through various complicated rituals approved by priests otherwise known as brahmins.

Although, claims have been made connecting Hinduism with books such as the Bhagavat Gita or Vedas, little can be said about their authenticity given the fact that there are no legitimate chains of narration affirming the purity of these texts. Differences in religious practises between Tamil Hindu's and Gujarati Hindu's, for example, help to illustrate this fact.

Re-incarnation: injustice?

Re-incarnation is paramount to Hinduism, asserting the fact that disabled individuals are products of evil deeds performed in previous lives and consequently looked down upon, while healthier and more able individuals are assumed to be closer to the path of liberation (moksha) and deemed more reputable. Glen Hoddle's (former England football manager) famous comments on this topic are a good example to refer to.

Nationalism: proud to be Indian?

Nationalism is neither despised nor dispraised but rather encouraged and viewed as something good. The preservation of India or Bharat generally remains an important issue among Hindu's fuelling racism as well as restricting the religion to an ethnicity; the caste system although disapproved by the government openly flourishes, condemning dark-skinned individuals, with particular surnames, to a life of hard labour and ridicule, albeit at the expense of their supposed 'evil deeds'.

Free-Mixing: non-existent

Segregation between genders is generally overlooked, especially between distant relatives, and tends to fluctuate given the trend of the society as well as compromise heavily in areas such as education i.e. schools, colleges and universities, for example. The beauty of the Hindu woman is often exposed in terms of her arms, hair and stomach and the Hindu man commonly reveals his private body parts in religious practises such as the Kumbh Mela.

Secular: no system of life

Hinduism, by its nature is a secular religion, providing no system of life for mankind to live under. Integration with democracy and man-made law are part and parcel of its composition and thus it is subject to manipulation and dilution.

A call to you to embrace Islam!

Oh reader! Islam came to liberate mankind from the worship and obedience of the creation to the exclusive worship and obedience of the Creator (without intermediaries), it is a divine belief from which emanates a complete system of life (shari'ah), containing answers for everything you could possibly think of from tying your shoe laces to conquering the world!

In addition to that, it is not enough for you to simply affirm the existence of God, or His right of worship, rather you must declare and accept His final messenger Muhammad (saw) and the Deen of Al-Islam which abrogates all other religions that have passed or are to follow:

Allah (swt) says in the Qur'an, "The only Deen accepted by Allah is Al-Islam." [EMQ 3:85]

Oh reader! Muhammad bin Qasim (ra) brought Islam to the Indian Subcontinent in the year 715 A.D and indeed many responded to his call...isn't it time you responded?

Sikhism is the world's newest religion at 500 years old. The religion was "put together" by Guru Nanak, a keen student of both Islam and Hinduism, who spent years travelling over India. India, in the early 15th century, was an area that had witnessed the growth of Hinduism with its belief in multitude of gods and theories of reincarnation. The emergence of Islam and its emphasis on One God corrected many of the social issues and "mystical" beliefs associated with Hinduism at the time. The caste system was seen in its true nature; a racist structure geared to preserve the rich over the poor. Islam offered those at the bottom of the organization a way of being equal and simultaneously having a belief system that fitted naturally with the human self. However, Nanak created Sikhism as a reaction against both Islam and Hinduism and was in essence a mixture of the two. The early Sikhs buried their dead, like the Muslims but carried ideas of reincarnation. Nevertheless, the roots of Sikhism can be clearly defined as Islamic in nature.

All Sikhs today must know that Islam has heavily influenced their religion.

Today, leading Sikh scholars and researchers testify that Nanak was inclined to the Islamic way of thinking:

"Guru Nanak not only was in intimate contact with the Moslem learned men and centres of religion of Islam of those days, but he also made a close study of the basic Islamic literature." (The Sikh Review, March 1991)

"He took to studying the Hindu and Muslim religions almost from his boyhood"¦when he died, his body became a subject of dispute. The Muslims wanted to bury him, the Hindus to cremate him." (The Sikhs, K.Singh, 1953)

Guru Nanak was influenced by the Muslim, Sheikh Ibrahim Farid (1450-1535), for whom Nanak had great admiration and whose works are incorporated in the Granth (The Sikhs, K.Singh, 1953).

The Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of the Sikhs, is a book that contains the teachings of all their Gurus. The influence of the Quran is unmistakable, compare the following entries with those of particular Surah's:

Granth Sahib – "In times of trouble, God is remembered by all But none remembers Him during peace and happiness. If God is remembered in good times of happiness Why should trouble occur?" Al-Qur'an 39:8 – "When some trouble toucheth man, He crieth unto his Lord, Turning to Him in repentance: But when He bestoweth A favour upon him As from Himself, (Man) doth forget what he cried And prayed for before, And he doth set up Rivals unto Allah." Granth Sahib – "The Doer, the Cause of causes, is potent to do anything. That which pleases Him, comes to pass. In an instant, He creates and destroys. He has no end or limitation. By His Order, He established the earth, and He maintains it unsupported. By His Order, the world was created; by His Order, it shall merge again into Him. By His Order, ones occupation is high or low. By His Order, there are so many colours and forms. Having created the creation, He beholds His own greatness. O Nanak, He is pervading in all." Al-Qur'an 2:117-118 – "The Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it: "Be!" and it is. And those who have no knowledge say: "Why doesn't Allah speak to us (face to face) or why does not a sign come to us?" So said the people before them words of similar import. Their hearts are alike, We have indeed made plain the signs for people who believe with certainty." Granth Sahib – "He neither has father, nor mother, nor sons nor brothers. Burnt be the mouth that asserts, the Lord takes birth. He is neither born nor dies; nether enters birth nor departs. All pervasive is Nanaks Lord. Al-Qur'an 112:1-4 – In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. "Say: He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begets not, nor was He begotten; And there is none like (co-equal or comparable) unto Him."

Islam was revealed to Muhammad (saw) in the 7th Century where as Nanak and the subsequent guru's compiled the Granth from the 15th Century onwards.

Short hymns, which form part of the Sikh religion, include direct references to Islam and the Prophet Mohammad (saw):

"It is difficult to be called a Muslim; of one is truly a Muslim, then he may be called one. First, let him savor the religion of the Prophet as sweet; then, let his pride of his possessions be scraped away. Becoming a true Muslim, a disciple of the faith of Mohammed let him put aside the delusion of death and life. As he submits to God's Will (Islam) and surrenders to the creator, he is rid of selfishness and conceit. And when, O Nanak, he is merciful to all beings, only then shall he be called a Muslim."

"Let mercy be your mosque, faith your prayer mat, and honest living your Koran. Make modesty your circumcision, and good conduct your fast. In this way, you shall be a true Muslim. Let good conduct be your Kabaa, Truth your spiritual guide, and the karma of good deeds your prayer and chant. Let your rosary be that which is pleasing to His Will."

Nanak's acceptance of Muhammad (saw) as the Messenger of Allah.

Nanak, in one of his Janam Sakhis, said the religion of Islam is true. It was because of this that he went on pilgrimage to Mecca, and adopted all the tenets of Islam. His sacred relics at Dera Baba Nanak bear the clearest testimony to his profession of the Islamic Kalima, "There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is His Prophet", and those at Guru Har Sahai in the Ferozepore District, include a copy of the Holy Quran. He also proclaimed that enmity to Islam was enmity to the light that comes from heaven.

Sikhism is a religion, which is not stable by nature, but one that evolves from time to time. It has made conscious attempts to rid itself from its Islamic roots.

The fifth Guru, Arjun (1563-1606), was determined to break away from the Islamic influences (due to his dislike of being ruled by Muslims) but wanted to keep some of its fundamentals, most notably the belief in One God. He wrote the following, which is clearly a case of the Sikhs being caught in no-man's land, somewhere between Islam and Hinduism:

I do not keep the Hindu fast, nor the Muslim Ramadan.

I serve Him alone who is my refuge.

I serve the one Master, who is also Allah.

I have broken with the Hindu and the Muslim,

I will not worship with the Hindu, nor like the Muslim go to Mecca.

I shall serve Him and no other.

I will not pray to idols nor say the Muslim prayer.

I shall put my heart at the feet of the one Supreme Being.

For we are neither Hindus nor Muslims.

Furthermore, original Sikh doctrine outlawed the idea of a caste system. However, today this abhorrent system, has returned becoming a key feature of Sikh society.

CONCLUSION
In short, Sikhism is a man-made religion made up of the "best elements" from both Islam and Hinduism. As mentioned, Islam corrected the numerous inadequacies Hinduism imposed on society; thus impressing on intellectuals such as Nanak that the religion of Muhammad (saw) was in fact the truth.

However, Nanak could not accept Islam in its entirety so chose just the key features that favoured him and the people. Today, Sikhs in Britain know very little of the origins of their religion, whereas those who do, want to keep it hidden.

The idea that Islam forms the backbone of Sikhism is something which they will not accept as they want to feel superior to the Muslims. However, because Sikhism is man-made it has many flaws.

Firstly, the religion lacks depth and is easily brainwashed by more dominant systems. Hinduism still has a great influence on the Sikhs as the caste system highlights – the idea that everyone is equal in the eyes of God is rarely practised by the Sikhs, as inter-caste marriage is still a taboo subject.

Secondly, Nanak made no claims to divinity or to kinship with God and did not want to be worshipped as a kind of prophet (K.Singh, 1953). But, today many Sikhs do this by hanging a picture of Nanak and directing their prayers towards it.

Thirdly, unlike Islam where the doctrine has stood firm for over 1400 years, Sikhism has evolved; taking in new directions with every new Guru. Key elements of the religion have been dramatically altered such as the treatment of the dead; in Nanak's time they were buried whereas today they are cremated.

The message to any Sikh is do your research and ask yourself "are you Sikh because you really want to be or is it because your parents are". Remember, on the Day of Judgment, no religion will be accepted from Allah accept Islam. "And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers." (Al-Qur'an 3:85)

Well, evangelists in the West and in India feel the same way about India - 'the one that got away` despite almost 200 years of colonial rule! Lets face it majority of countries in West and their ex colonies are mostly Christian including S and N America, Philippines. Middle East and countries of North Africa - Islamic. In Africa the batlle is between xtianity and Islam and currently xtianity seems to be winning with their more professional approach to harvest of souls!

Asia remains the only unconquered area for both these intolerant ideologies, hence the Pope's call for a `harvest of souls` and the Cross to be planted in Asia in the 3rd millenium.

Dont generalize mate.... The Christians of the western countries(everyone except Evangelists) and some ACTUALLY tolerant Indian Christians(though really rare) are not sick like the ones we have here.... only the imported, forced converted ones are nut cracks......

Either way they are much saner than the ones calling for Shariah for hind......

Lol !! the world is full of cheaters, in this age of corruption they are feeding the impossible dream of Shariah for hind , they must be having some hidden intentions of earning lots of money by provoking religious extremism. Idiots will be those who will donate their earnings to such organizations, look at OBL who kept his own kids away from Jihad but engaged thousands of other people for it who later died for idiotic causes.

How easy to squeeze money from people by provoking Islamic extremism, and fill their own accounts with money having some good religious time pass sitting in luxurious bungalows , receiving money in their accounts in the name of Shariah for Hind :pound:

The title is amusing. Shariah "for Hind" would be kicked out of the country with force by the people before politicians could ever capitalize on it. We've seen and fought off enough shyte in the last 12 centuries to kick this lunatic out.

It is such a cheap political tactic to invite that terrorist Anjem Chaudhry to India.

I just don't get why he was released from prison.

He ran his 4 man group called Al Mohajiroun which was banned but he is still freely moving around in the UK. I did a domain name check and this website is hosted in the US. Why is the US hosting a website for extremists and not shutting them down?
It looks like after being rejected by British Muslims and being ostracized in the UK, he is trying to fish for publicity in India Pakistan region.

And seriously one of his agenda is to stop Muslims from participating in elections. Some people might like that idea but I doubt Indian Muslims would. I would be very surprised if a visa is issued to him given that he started a banned organist Al-Mohajiroun and has been to prison on promoting terrorism charges. The UK embassy is certainly not doing its job in vetting people if they did give him a visa.

On the other hand, I wouldn't mind seeing him being demolished intellectually through Islamic fiqh and jurisprudence by the various Indian Islamic scholars from various schools of thoughts. It is well known that Anjem Choudary is a lawyer and not an Islamic scholar. So when he does get demolished and humiliated on his platform, it would be satisfying but I have no idea how the debate would be arranged and it would have to be in Urdu/Hindi to allow the Indian Islamic scholars to speak freely although Anjem may have difficulty given his broken Urdu I have heard before.

One of the tenets of counter intelligence is that if a person or organisation is not a total threat, then it should not be banned.

It is better to keep such a person or organisation 'over ground' and capable of being 'watched', than have that organisation going 'underground' and having to require a greater effort in funds, manpower et al to keep a watch.

It looks like after being rejected by British Muslims and being ostracized in the UK, he is trying to fish for publicity in India Pakistan region.

The average Indian Muslim would find this man a total embarrassment and would give them grounds to worry! Hence, they would not like him to come and add fuel to the fire.

However, the more strident Muslim organisation and personalities would possibly be pleased that he come officially to espouse the Muslim cause which they themselves would like to raise but cannot owing to the secular characteristic of India and the fear that it could cause a tsunami that would wipe out their hold and maybe they themselves in the bargain since it would give cause to the Hindu right wing to justify their agenda against the Muslims reinventing the Muslim Mughal hold over India.

No one will demolish Anjem.

They will wait to see how the pennies fall!

All I know is that his presence on Indian soil would be dangerous for the average peaceloving Indian of all religious hues and Anjem would be just another wind de la mort!

I read this news a month back. I have tracked all of his news which he said in last 1 month. Indeed, All so called Right-wing saffron brigade knows this very well. All waiting for the day if he comes and speak.

I personally want him to come and we should allow him to speak. IMO, There is large no. of Indian Muslims who support such things but silently but i want some people to support him openly. People like him will help and justify the rise in saffron right-wing groups/folks. :thumb:
Well did you know that SIMI was already an organization that had the same demands. And it had 25+ years to work on this agenda and invite Muslim to its point of view and before it was banned in 2001 do you know how many members it had out of 150 million+ Indian Muslims? At its peak a grand total of 400 full time members and around 2000 ordinary members. And as recently as 2007 Safdar Nagori - an important member of SIMI- had admitted that their membership had seen a drastic decline as people didn't accept their ideology of boycotting elections and demanding sharia law.

In general political religious groups like this one as well as others like Hizb ut Tahrir are the ones that GoI SHOULD be keeping an eye out. Keep in mind that he doesn't have any Wahabbi, Deobandi or Barelvi affiliation but a political Islamist agenda. And as I have stated in other posts, its not the school of throught but their political agenda that should define a group which could lead to extremism and radicalization.

Given that even in the UK he is boycotted by fell British muslims and that an indigenous group could muster only 400 committed members in 25+ years, I doubt Indian muslims who ACTUALLY know what his agenda is will even come out to listen to him let alone support him. And just as we can't expect VHP, Bajrang Dal or Ram Sene activists who want political Hindu ideology to be implemented in India as mainstream, it would be surprising to assume that a British hate preacher who should be in prison by UK as well as Indian laws would be mainstream in India. Espicially given the backdrop of how miserable SIMI's support base is given that they have the same ideology.
