16 Years Since the Medak Pocket Massacre
“This is a Serb Village, Slit All Throats!”

September 9 marks 16 years since the massacre Croat forces committed in the villages and hamlets south and southeast from the town Gospić in Serbian Krajina, called Medak Pocket (Medački Džep) — a UN safe haven — mutilating, raping, setting on fire and killing 88 Serbs. Memorial services to the victims were held throughout Serbian lands, and in the

Christian Kosovo is Dying

Christian Kosovo is Dying

By M. V. Pejakovich
Friday, September 22, 2006

Since I started posting to Serb Blog nine months ago, I have done my best to simply bring you the news relevant to Serbs in the US and overseas, and not to harrangue you with my personal opinions and ranting. But sadly, I can keep silent on this no longer. Christian Kosovo is dying, and I --as an American and a Christian --cannot simply stand by and say nothing while my country sells my Christian brothers and sisters in Kosovo down the river in the name of European & UN dirty politics.

These photos represent the real Kosovo for Serbs, not the sanitized UN version of Kosovo's "progress on human rights" and forged reports of "reductions in ethnic violence" designed to excuse the fact that under NATO & the UN's watch, more than 150 ancient Christian churches have been destroyed and thousands of Christians in Kosovo have been attacked, wounded, killed or ethnically cleansed in just 7 years and right under the useless noses of the international peacekeepers!

PRISTINA, Serbia-An explosion in western Kosovo injured four Serbs late Tuesday, the fourth bombing in the last five days, police said.

But this is all you hear from the mainstream media:

The blasts have raised tensions amid ongoing U.N.-led negotiations on whether Kosovo should become independent, which the province's ethnic Albanian leadership wants, or have broad autonomy but remain a part of Serb territory, as Belgrade insists.

Kosovo , Serbia: Church set in flames by Muslim Albanians

Kosovo , Serbia: Church set in flames by Muslim Albanians

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkgHkxIfgBc

A Serbian Christian church was set in flames by Muslim Albanians .
UN-soldiers=NATO soldiers did not prevent this .
Why this wasn't shown in the news around the world?
Burning down Mosques in Europe would trigger riots and even World War but this was not even mentioned on TV anywhere around the world!
It was just one of more than100 destroyed or desecrated churches on Kosovo.
Islam is getting closer to Europe step by step - but in this case the eyes of the UN & NATO were watching it.
A perversion like this, where hundreds standing around and cheer and also the local TV makes a live-report,

Kosovo Serbs: Hidden Tragedy! 1999-2008

Why the International Community has remained completely silent??

Kosovo does not deserve independence for these people.

Kosovo - Serbian Orthodox Church and Post-war Suffering

* Albanian crimes against non-Albanians population: threat, murder, pogrom, 200,000 non-Albanian refugees from Kosovo;
* Albanian crimes against Churches: +160 Churches destroyed in Kosovo;
* Albanian crimes against cemeteries, graves: eradication of Serbian heritage in Kosovo;
* Albanian crimes against Serbian monuments: eradication of Serbian culture in Kosovo;

* Albanian crimes against everything non-Albanian: they "deserve" Kosovo independence ? NO!

No! rogue state. No! another Albanian state. No! unilateral declaration of independence. No! recognition. No! refugees. No! displaced people. No! ethnic cleansing. No! suffering. No! cries. No! crimes. No!

Nobody should agree with these crimes

Nobody should reward the Kosovo Albanians for the treatment of the non-Albanian population

Nobody should say Kosovo deserves independence

Bondsteel Camp: Kosovo Independence. An American Dream ?....

KBR's strategic masterpiece is Camp Bondsteel - the largest and most expensive US Army base since Vietnam, in use today, complete with roads, its own power generators, houses, satellite dishes, a helicopter airfield and of course a Vietnam-style prison. By a fabulous coincidence, Camp Bondsteel is right on the path of the Albanian-Macedonian-Bulgarian Oil (AMBO) Trans-Balkan Pipeline. This key piece of Pipelineistan is supposed to connect the oil-and-gas-rich Caspian Sea with Europe. The feasibility project for AMBO was conducted by none other than KBR.

Kosovo minorities leave, claiming discrimination

Kosovo minorities leave, claiming discrimination

The refusal of Kosovo's ethnic Albanian leadership to ensure minority rights is driving out many non-Serb minorities, a new human rights report says.

For Kosovars, this flag symbolises independence
The refusal of Kosovo's ethnic Albanian leadership to ensure minority rights is driving out many non-Serb minorities, a new human rights report says.

The London-based Minority Rights Group International (MRG) says exclusion from political and social life and discrimination are forcing ethnic Bosniaks, Turks, Roma, Croats, Gorani, Ashkali Egyptians and even some Serbs out of Kosovo.

Non-Serb minorities have criticized the international community for paying too much attention to Albanian-Serb relations and ignoring other groups.

"The priority for the international community should be to ensure that there is some kind of international human rights mechanism to which minorities in Kosovo can turn," MRG director, Mark Lattimer, said.

Lack of political will

Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence in February 2008 and Serbia's opposition to the move had resulted in a vacuum in international protection for minorities, the MRG report says. Two KFOR soldiers on patrol in MitrovicaBildunterschrift: Großansicht des Bildes mit der Bildunterschrift: KFOR peacekeepers patroling the ethnically divided town of Mitrovica

Since declaring independence, ethnic divisions have worsened between the enclave's two million Albanians, 120,000 Serbs, and 80,000 others from smaller ethnic groups, despite the presence of 14,000 NATO peacekeepers and a 2,000-strong European Union mission overseeing a fragile peace.

"There is a lack of political will and substantive investment in effective implementation of minority rights among majority Albanians," the report says.

"Together with a bad economy, these conditions mean that many members of minority communities are now leaving the new Kosovo state altogether," MRG concludes.

Integration "a fantasy"

The Kosovo government has called the report "not factually accurate" and says minority rights are guaranteed by the constitution. But Lattimer, in an interview with Deutsche Welle, described that claim as "a fantasy" and stressed that the trend toward greater ethnic segregation was continuing.

A man runs past graffiti reading Bildunterschrift: Großansicht des Bildes mit der Bildunterschrift: "Kosovo is Serbia" is a clear sign how Serbs feel about their breakaway province

"Effectively," Lattimer said, "ten years of international rule have seen an increase in segregation between communities."

The MRG report says that the poor treatment of minorities was due to a perception that they had been allies of, or did little to oppose, the former Serb regime in the 1990s.

Serbia still regards Kosovo as part of its historic heartland and has asked the International Court of Justice in The Hague to rule on the legality of its secession.

Serb President Boris Tadic, ahead of a visit to France on Wednesday, told the French daily Le Figaro that Serbia would "never recognize" the unilateral independence of Kosovo.

Kosovo's independence has only been recognized by 60 of the world's 200 countries.

"Carla del Ponte: Kosovo leaders kidnapped Serbs and sold their organs"
/ World - Pravda.Ru...

Exposed: how Kosovo Serbs were butchered for organs

Former Chief Prosecutor at the International Court of Justice in the Hague has given details of suspected atrocities by ethnic Albanians in Kosovo in 1999. Carla Del Ponte's book 'The Hunt: Me and War crimes' claims that before killing Serbs and members of other ethnic communities, Kosovo Albanians removed their organs to sell for transplants.

According to Del Ponte, a one-time prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, the kidnapped Serbs were given a medical test. Those who passed were treated well, fed and looked after until they were brought under the surgeon's knife.

From several concentration camps in Kosovo, they were then transferred to cities in the north of Albania. Their body parts were later flown to Europe.

General Mamir Stayanovich was head of the intelligence service of the Serbian army during the war.

He has no doubt that the claims in Del Ponte's book will sooner or later be proven. The places she mentions as hidden operation rooms are in exactly the same location as the camps Albanians used for training soldiers.

"In these hospitals they decided amongst themsemselves what each commander of the KLA would have after victory. They decided who would make his money from drug dealing, who from weapons, and who from selling body parts. Hashim Thaci, the prime minister, was among them," General Stayanovich claims.

There are more than 2,000 names on the list of missing Serbs. Sima Spasich is the leader of an organisation trying to discover their fate. He showed the pictures of body parts he filmed in 2003.

"Right after the war, when we understood that too many people had disappeared, I went to the K-For commanders and asked them where were the people, and they just shrugged their shoulders. Only after they saw Serbian people demonstrating and were afraid of their anger, they took me to some place," Spasich said.

"I cannot explain what I saw there. It was a small mountain of pieces of bodies and the first thing I saw was a baby who'd been taken from his mother's stomach, lying there. It was impossible to look. It was a massive grave they'd dug before. Today I know in this massive grave were 26 Serb bodies - also there was my brother Milosh," Spasich added.

Families who once had a small glimmer of hope of finding their loved ones are now planning to sue Del Ponte. They claim she withheld this information for years - and in that way helped the criminals with their crime.

Albanian connection to the teenage sex slaves in London

Albanian connection to the teenage sex slaves in London

By Jason Bennetto Crime Correspondent

Thursday, 19 June 2003

The Romanian girl was 15 when she was smuggled into Britain. She arrived in Dover, via Brussels and Ostend, on a hovercraft in July 2001 and was met at Victoria station and taken to a flat in north-west London. A day later, a man named Mustapha Kadiu, 31, arrived and made the girl, later known in court as Miss X, phone saunas and massage parlours to work as a prostitute.

Kadiu, an Albanian who persuaded her to travel to Britain to start a new life, threatened to kill her if she failed to earn between £400 and £500 a day, charging £30 for straight sex.

After three months of sexual slavery in London she escaped and went to police. Kadiu was arrested and convicted of raping her, indecently assaulting her and of living off immoral earnings. He was sentenced last December to 10 years in prison.

The plight of the Romanian teenager is an example of the growing power of Albanian pimps in London and of the booming sex trade involving girls and women from eastern Europe smuggled to the West. The National Criminal Intelligence Service (NCIS) says many of the people who are trafficked into Britain enter the vice trade. Others work as cheap labour in illicit sweatshops producing counterfeit goods or are brought in by Chinese "snakehead" gangs to work in restaurants.

Most of those who end up in the vice industry are victims of "some form of deception, and exploit the lack of opportunities open to women in source countries", the NCIS says in its assessment of serious and organised crime.

Traffickers advertise in local newspapers abroad offering jobs as maids, nannies, bar and catering staff, receptionists, clerical staff, dancers and entertainers. Even the women who knowingly get involved in vice are told they will be able to keep their profits.

Women from countries in the former Soviet Union and Balkan regions are increasingly the victims of kidnap by the traffickers, NCIS says. "In some rural areas of the Balkans, the fear of kidnap is such that families keep adolescent girls at home rather than send them to school or work."

Traffickers use extreme violence, including rape, to control victims. "In some instances, women have been killed and their bodies dumped in public places as an example," NCIS adds. In Britain, traffickers strip victims of all documents so they cannot work elsewhere. Some threaten to tell their families they are prostitutes.

Over the past decade, violent Albanian criminals have taken control of 75 per cent of prostitution in Soho. Scotland Yard estimates that last year criminals made £61m from 15 people-smuggling operations that police detected.

Albanians 'taking over London vice'

By Jason Bennetto, Crime Correspondent

Monday, 25 November 2002

Albanian gangs are taking over the vice trade in Britain, with about three quarters of all prostitutes working in London saunas and brothels coming from the Balkans and former Soviet Union, a police intelligence report has found.

Albanian gangs are taking over the vice trade in Britain, with about three quarters of all prostitutes working in London saunas and brothels coming from the Balkans and former Soviet Union, a police intelligence report has found.

Albanian organised criminals are also starting to move into heroin dealing, kidnaps and street robbery in London.

The growing threat posed by gangsters from the Balkans will be highlighted at an international conference in London today, hosted by David Blunkett, the Home Secretary, and Jack Straw, the Foreign Secretary.

A year-long assessment by the National Criminal Intelligence Service has concluded that the Albanians pose a growing threat, particularly in the vice industry, although in other areas of crime they are still a fledgling power.

Researchers found that about half of the prostitutes in London were from the Balkans and the former Soviet Union, and that Albanian criminals controlled about three quarters of the women who sold sex in saunas and brothels in the capital. Much of the £12m annual profit made from the Soho sex trade returned to Albania, the intelligence service said.

While the Albanian gangsters are concentrated in London, they have also made inroads into Liverpool, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, and surprisingly Telford in Shropshire and Lancaster.

The Albanian community in Britain is small, about 30,000, but the number of those who are criminals is unknown. The police also have the problem of gangsters from other Balkan countries claiming to be Albanians in the hope of obtaining asylum.

The Albanians have managed to win control of the off-street prostitution in Soho by buying the premises and saunas that are used to sell sex. To pay for the prime-site properties and rents they have used money from Albanian as well as recycling the huge profits from selling sex in Britain.

Albanian mafia takes control of Soho vice scene
By Ian Burrell, Home Affairs Correspondent 18 June 2001

The Albanian mafia has seized control of the Soho vice trade, according to a Home Office report.

In the space of less than a year, the ruthless Eastern European crime network has moved into almost all of the saunas and massage parlours in the heart of Britain's sex industry. The development is described as a "revolution" by one government source.

A Home Office briefing, seen by The Independent, says: "Around 70 per cent of sauna/massage parlours in London's Soho [are] now controlled by Albanians/Kosovars." The briefing said that the "tightening grip" of Albanian gangs on the vice trade was "changing the landscape" of Britain's sex industry. The Albanian mafia's establishment of a foothold in Britain is of deep concern to law enforcement agencies, which have been concerned by the crime network's growing presence in other parts of Europe.

A source said: "Twelve months ago, Albanian organised crime was not an issue for the UK. Their infiltration has been very swift."

Albanian gangs already control much of the vice in Greece, Germany and Italy, where they have been prepared to take on the Italian Mafia, particularly in Milan. The Home Office report follows a shocking study by Save the Children last March, which revealed that thousands of Albanian girls as young as 14 were being abducted from their families and sent overseas to work as prostitutes.

A concerted police raid on Soho brothels in February revealed that 80 per cent of women working as prostitutes were from overseas, mostly from the Balkans and Baltic states. According to the National Criminal Intelligence Service, Albanian women are also being moved to red light areas in the north of England and the Midlands. Nearly a decade ago it was predicted that Russian organised crime would seek to exert influence over the British vice trade but instead it is Albanian gangs that have taken control.

Inspector Paul Holmes, of the Metropolitan Police clubs and vice unit, said the Albanians had come to prominence "very rapidly" by striking a deal with the Maltese and East End London gangsters who have traditionally dominated the Soho vice scene. Inspector Holmes said he believed that 70 to 75 per cent of women working in UK brothels were now from Albania or were Kosovo Albanians.

"The Albanians have inserted their girls into the existing infrastructure [of brothels] but the women are being controlled by organised criminals," he said.

The arrival of the Albanian mafia has not yet led to violence. Inspector Holmes described the relationship between the Albanians and the traditional London vice rackets as "almost like a comfortable bedfellow thing.

"The people that run these places want a set level of money and don't care whether the girls are from Albania or Mars. But we are concerned at what will happen when the turf is full and the Albanians start setting up their own places."

Similar scenarios in Italy and Germany have led to violent clashes, with the Albanian gangs demonstrating that they are incomparably ruthless and heavily armed.

But some women's groups challenge the official view of Albanian prostitution in London. They argue that the women, many of whom are seeking asylum, are not being victimised and are grateful for an opportunity to earn money.

Niki Adams of the English Collective of Prostitutes said all the Albanian women she had met had claimed to be "working independently" and none had said they were exploited by criminal racketeers.

"There are a number of women in Soho who are sending money back to their families and have said to us, 'I am the only wage earner in my family'," she said.

Inspector Holmes said 90 per cent of the women knew they would be working as prostitutes when they left Albania but he rejected the idea that they were working independently. "What they believe is that once they have paid their debt bond they will be able to make significant money for themselves. The reality is completely different," he said. "At its most benign it is ruthless exploitation and at its most malevolent it is rape on a daily basis." Albanian prostitutes were terrified of giving evidence against their pimps in case of reprisals against their families, he said.

The problem of the Albanian mafia in Britain will be raised tomorrow in Edinburgh, when some of the world's foremost experts on organised crime will meet to discuss emerging trends at the Global Forum for Law Enforcement and National Security.

The guest speaker, Mark Galeotti, the director of the organised crime centre at Keele University, told The Independent that the Albanian mafia was "the key crime group emerging at the moment" in Britain.

The old territorial crime families were "increasingly dinosaurial", he said.

UK warning over Balkan gangs
Police in Liverpool
Police are increasingly battling gang turf wars
David Blunkett has admitted Balkan crime gangs operating in the UK were "more organised" than the police.

There has been growing concern about the influence of gangsters from Albania and the former Yugoslavia, prompting the calling of this week's conference in London, which was attended by 57 countries.

Among the crimes most concerning the authorities are prostitution, drug trafficking and people smuggling, including the importation of "sex slaves" into western Europe.

Organised criminals are more organised than we are

David Blunkett
The home secretary told the conference on organised crime the gangs from the Balkans and Near East - including Turks and Kurds - were already engaged in "open warfare" on the streets of London.

Mr Blunkett said: "The Balkans have become the gateway to Europe for organised criminals.

"Criminal gangs are behind a multi-million pound business smuggling people, drugs and guns.

"We can only outwit and track down organised criminals by working ever more closely with the Balkan countries.

"Closer co-operation is particularly vital in the current climate, with the heightened threat we all face from international terrorist networks."

'Terrorism funding'

Mr Blunkett continued: "Organised criminals co-operate across national borders and so must we.

"Organised criminals are more organised than we are. Better, more effective co-operation is the key to combating international crime.

You can't have a process where Balkan countries pretend to reform and we pretend to believe them

Chris Patten
EU commissioner
"The funding generated by networks perpetrating organised crime are the same funds and same networks that have a direct relevance to the development of sales and support for terrorism.

"Here in London we have seen organised criminal gangs, many of them based in communities that have come from other parts of Europe and near Asia, engaged in open warfare on the streets.

"We have seen them using prostitution rackets, money from drugs and importing of human beings for sex slavery."

He said the new Nationality Immigration and Asylum Act would ensure tough new penalties of up to 14 years for people-smugglers and traffickers and new laws to seize the assets of organised criminals.

British Government officials have described the Balkans as a warehouse and transit route for contraband goods and people.

Illegal migrants

Two years ago, the United Nations estimated that Bosnia alone served as a gateway to Western Europe for up to 50,000 illegal migrants a year.

Money and technical support from western governments has cut that number - the flow of illegal migrants through Sarajevo airport has fallen by 90%.

European Union Commissioner Chris Patten told the conference organised crime was a "cancer".

He said no country should be allowed to join the expanded EU "unless we are satisfied they are working to rid their countries of this evil".

He said: "You can't have a process where Balkan countries pretend to reform and we pretend to believe them."

In the UK, police have identified ethnic Albanian criminals operating in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, Cardiff, Telford and Lancaster, as well as their more noticeable presence in London.

RAPIST CONNED HIS WAY BACK IN

AN Albanian gangster who went through with a sham wedding to get back into Britain raped a tourist two months after his return.

The case of vile Jetmir Xhelollari highlights the need for a fresh crackdown on bogus marriages.

His bids to stay in the country had been rejected several times and he was deported in March 2006.

But he married an EU national in the Albanian capital of Tirana simply to win the right to come back.

Xhelollari, 34, was soon deeply involved in crooked activities in Edgware, north London, where he also worked as a bouncer.

The target for his evil sex attack was a 23-year-old Israeli tourist.

He met his victim in the Cafe de Paris coffee shop in Hendon, north London, last August.

She accepted the Albanian's invitation to have dinner with him later that evening.

He picked her up in his car then told the woman he needed to go home and change.

Callous Xhelollari lured her into his flat and raped her.

Afterwards he told his victim they were still going to a restaurant.

He threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the attack and claimed he was in the Mafia.

At the restaurant, the terrified woman escaped by saying she was going to the toilet.

Xhelollari was jailed for nine years at Harrow Crown Court in February. He will be deported at the end of his sentence.

KOSOVO `FREEDOM FIGHTERS' FINANCED BY ORGANISED CRIME

By Michel Chossudovsky

[Department of Economics, University of Ottawa/ Ottawa, K1N6N5/ Voice box: 1-613-562-5800, ext. 1415/ Fax: 1-514-425-6224/ E-Mail: [email protected]]

- Wednesday, 7 April 1999 -

Heralded by the global media as a humanitarian peace-keeping mission, NATO's ruthless bombing of Belgrade and Pristina goes far beyond the breach of international law. While Slobodan Milosevic is demonised, portrayed as a remorseless dictator, the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) is upheld as a self-respecting nationalist movement struggling for the rights of ethnic Albanians. The truth of the matter is that the KLA is sustained by organised crime with the tacit approval of the United States and its allies.

Following a pattern set during the War in Bosnia, public opinion has been carefully misled. The multibillion dollar Balkans narcotics trade has played a crucial role in "financing the conflict" in Kosovo in accordance with Western economic, strategic and military objectives. Amply documented by European police files, acknowledged by numerous studies, the links of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) to criminal syndicates in Albania, Turkey and the European Union have been known to Western governments and intelligence agencies since the mid-1990s.

...The financing of the Kosovo guerilla war poses critical questions and it sorely test claims of an "ethical" foreign policy. Should the West back a guerrilla army that appears to partly financed by organised crime.[1]

While KLA leaders were shaking hands with US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright at Rambouillet, Europol (the European Police Organization based in the Hague) was "preparing a report for European interior and justice ministers on a connection between the KLA and Albanian drug gangs."[2] In the meantime, the rebel army has been skilfully heralded by the global media (in the months preceding the NATO bombings) as broadly representative of the interests of ethnic Albanians in Kosovo.

With KLA leader Hashim Thaci (a 29 year "freedom fighter") appointed as chief negotiator at Rambouillet, the KLA has become the de facto helmsman of the peace process on behalf of the ethnic Albanian majority and this despite its links to the drug trade. The West was relying on its KLA puppets to rubber-stamp an agreement which would have transformed Kosovo into an occupied territory under Western Administration.

Ironically Robert Gelbard, America's special envoy to Bosnia, had described the KLA last year as "terrorists". Christopher Hill, America's chief negotiator and architect of the Rambouillet agreement "has also been a strong critic of the KLA for its alleged dealings in drugs."[3] Moreover, barely a few two months before Rambouillet, the US State Department had acknowledged (based on reports from the US Observer Mission) the role of the KLA in terrorising and uprooting ethnic Albanians:

...the KLA harass or kidnap anyone who comes to the police, ... KLA representatives had threatened to kill villagers and burn their homes if they did not join the KLA [a process which has continued since the NATO bombings]... [T]he KLA harassment has reached such intensity that residents of six villages in the Stimlje region are "ready to flee.[4]

While backing a "freedom movement" with links to the drug trade, the West seems also intent in bypassing the civilian Kosovo Democratic League and its leader Ibrahim Rugova who has called for an end to the bombings and expressed his desire to negotiate a peaceful settlement with the Yugoslav authorities.[5] It is worth recalling that a few days before his March 31st Press Conference, Rugova had been reported by the KLA (alongside three other leaders including Fehmi Agani) to have been killed by the Serbs.

COVERT FINANCING OF `FREEDOM FIGHTERS'

Remember Oliver North and the Contras? The pattern in Kosovo is similar to other CIA covert operations in Central America, Haiti and Afghanistan where "freedom fighters" were financed through the laundering of drug money. Since the onslaught of the Cold War, Western intelligence agencies have developed a complex relationship to the illegal narcotics trade. In case after case, drug money laundered in the international banking system has financed covert operations.

According to author Alfred McCoy, the pattern of covert financing was established in the Indochina war. In the 1960s, the Meo army in Laos was funded by the narcotics trade as part of Washington's military strategy against the combined forces of the neutralist government of Prince Souvanna Phouma and the Pathet Lao.[6]

The pattern of drug politics set in Indochina has since been replicated in Central America and the Caribbean. "The rising curve of cocaine imports to the US", wrote journalist John Dinges "followed almost exactly the flow of US arms and military advisers to Central America."[7]

The military in Guatemala and Haiti, to which the CIA provided covert support, were known to be involved in the trade of narcotics into Southern Florida. And as revealed in the Iran-Contra and Bank of Commerce and Credit International (BCCI) scandals, there was strong evidence that covert operations were funded through the laundering of drug money. "Dirty money" recycled through the banking system -- often through an anonymous shell company -- became "covert money," used to finance various rebel groups and guerilla movements including the Nicaraguan Contras and the Afghan Mujahadeen. According to a 1991 Time Magazine report:

Because the US wanted to supply the mujehadeen rebels in Afghanistan with stinger missiles and other military hardware it needed the full cooperation of Pakistan. By the mid-1980s, the CIA operation in Islamabad was one of the largest US intelligence stations in the World. `If BCCI is such an embarrassment to the US that forthright investigations are not being pursued it has a lot to do with the blind eye the US turned to the heroin trafficking in Pakistan', said a US intelligence officer.[8]

AMERICA AND GERMANY JOIN HANDS

Since the early 1990s, Bonn and Washington have joined hands in establishing their respective spheres of influence in the Balkans. Their intelligence agencies have also collaborated. According to intelligence analyst John Whitley, covert support to the Kosovo rebel army was established as a joint endeavour between the CIA and Germany's Bundes Nachrichten Dienst (BND) (which previously played a key role in installing a right wing nationalist government under Franjo Tudjman in Croatia).[9 ]The task to create and finance the KLA was initially given to Germany: "They used German uniforms, East German weapons and were financed, in part, with drug money."[10] According to Whitley, the CIA was, subsequently instrumental in training and equipping the KLA in Albania.[11]

The covert activities of Germany's BND were consistent with Bonn's intent to expand its "Lebensraum" into the Balkans. Prior to the onset of the civil war in Bosnia, Germany and its Foreign Minister Hans Dietrich Genscher had actively supported secession; it had "forced the pace of international diplomacy" and pressured its Western allies to recognize Slovenia and Croatia. According to the Geopolitical Drug Watch, both Germany and the US favoured (although not officially) the formation of a "Greater Albania" encompassing Albania, Kosovo and parts of Macedonia.[12] According to Sean Gervasi, Germany was seeking a free hand among its allies "to pursue economic dominance in the whole of Mitteleuropa."[13 ]

ISLAMIC FUNDAMENTALISM IN SUPPORT OF THE KLA

Bonn and Washington's "hidden agenda" consisted in triggering nationalist liberation movements in Bosnia and Kosovo with the ultimate purpose of destabilising Yugoslavia. The latter objective was also carried out "by turning a blind eye" to the influx of mercenaries and financial support from Islamic fundamentalist organisations.[14 ]

Mercenaries financed by Saudi Arabia and Kuwait had been fighting in Bosnia.[15 ]And the Bosnian pattern was replicated in Kosovo: Mujahadeen mercenaries from various Islamic countries are reported to be fighting alongside the KLA in Kosovo. German, Turkish and Afghan instructors were reported to be training the KLA in guerilla and diversion tactics.[16 ]

According to a Deutsche Press-Agentur report, financial support from Islamic countries to the KLA had been channelled through the former Albanian chief of the National Information Service (NIS), Bashkim Gazidede.[17] "Gazidede, reportedly a devout Moslem who fled Albania in March of last year [1997], is presently [1998] being investigated for his contacts with Islamic terrorist organizations."[18]

The supply route for arming KLA "freedom fighters" are the rugged mountainous borders of Albania with Kosovo and Macedonia. Albania is also a key point of transit of the Balkans drug route which supplies Western Europe with grade four heroin. 75% of the heroin entering Western Europe is from Turkey. And a large part of drug shipments originating in Turkey transits through the Balkans. According to the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), "it is estimated that 4-6 metric tons of heroin leave each month from Turkey having [through the Balkans] as destination Western Europe."[19] A recent intelligence report by Germany's Federal Criminal Agency suggests that: "Ethnic Albanians are now the most prominent group in the distribution of heroin in Western consumer countries.

Albanian mafia is actively involved in white slavery trafficking in Britain

8 December 2009 | 12:26 | FOCUS News Agency
Belgrade. Shocking police video records from the cameras made on streets of London, confirmed suspicions that the Albanian mafia is actively involved in trafficking of white slavery in Britain, Serbian newspaper Blic Redas today. The video records show two men, later identified as Izzet Feyzulahu / 32 / and Agra Demarku / 22 / selling young woman for 3 000 pounds to two other Albanians outside a shop in London. The "Commodity" – a Lithuanian girl at the age of about 20 years, helplessly observed the deal. She is expected to earn for her new owner about 100 000 pounds per year, selling her body up to 25 times a day. The woman was lucky because the police intervened and she was released but the band of Albanian criminals were arrested and sentenced to a total of 63 years in prison. However, many other girls are not so lucky. The Ministry of Interior of the United Kingdom indicates that 4 000 women were illegally transferred only in 2003 in the country for prostitution.
Albanian gangs already control the majority of prostitution in Greece, Germany and Italy, where they are preparing to take over the business of the Italian Mafia, particularly in Milan.

The Albanian mafia that runs the largest criminal gangs in London has ties to the Bulgarian mafia, according to The London Daily News.

One leading Albanian gangster who spoke to the London Daily News said:

"We can use guns, we control the prostitutes in Soho and we are investing in London heavily. We fear no one and the law cannot do anything to stop us."

The newspaper discovered that to have someone "taken out" according to the unwritten laws in London's criminal underworld, the going rate is around GBP 5 000 with Albanian's using either guns or knives to eliminate the target.

Albanian hit men on hire in London for £5,000

Want someone murdered? Albanian hitmen are touting for business in London, apparently without any fear of the law are we living in Chicago or a scene of the "Goodfellas"

The London Daily News has discovered that professional Albanian assassins are "touting" for business in the capital claiming to be able to "take out" targets for as little as £5,000.

In an under cover investigation into criminal gangs operating in north London Albanians who fought in the KLA during the bloody Balkans conflict against Serbia, now have now established themselves as formidable figures in the London's underworld. Experienced users of guns and knives the Albanians are one of the most able assassins in London.

The war in Kosovo fuelled the spread of the Albanian Mafia after numerous gangsters disguised as Kosovar ‘refugees’ found their way into European countries, especially the UK now over ten years since the troubles in the Balkans.

One leading Albanian gangster who spoke to the London Daily News said:

"We can use guns, we control the prostitutes in Soho and we are investing in London heavily. We fear no one and the law cannot do anything to stop us."

Our reporter discovered that to have someone "taken out" according to the unwritten laws in London's criminal underworld, the going rate is around £5,000 with Albanian's using either guns or knives to eliminate the target.

The Albanian mafia is not a pyramid with one leader, rather an organisation with several bosses.

The ownership of the heroin European market, according to police sources from a dozen European countries is in the hands of 30 Albanian mafia families. Each of these families control a specific area of Kosovo which is the main transit point for all drugs.

The Drenica area, which goes through Prizren, Klin and Istok connects Montenegro and FYROM is controlled by the Drenica group whose main profit is drugs, weapons, stolen automobiles, white slavery, cigarettes and alcohol. This mafia is connected with the Albanian, Macedonian, Bulgarian and Czech mafia.

Most influential Albanian families at the moment are Naser Keljmendi, Ekrem Luka, and Redzep Selimi.

Recent FBI report shows that Albanian mafia overtook the Russian and Italian mafia in New York. Same went for several European cities, including London, Berlin and Prague.

The new Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson will have the added headache of dealing with ruthless well organised international criminal gangs.

Albanian diplomat arrested in Turkey on suspicion of drug trafficking

Turkish police had arrested Agim Haxhia, deputy secretary of the Albanian Embassy in Skopje, Macedonia, in western Turkey on May 2, AP quoted the Albanian Foreign Ministry statement as saying in a statement.

Haxhia, being held in a prison near Istanbul, has been stripped of his immunity and will face prosecution in Turkey, the agency added.

He was arrested after police found 65 kilograms of heroin in his car, which carried diplomatic plates, AFP reported, citing Albanian television station Top Channel.

Until three years ago, Haxhia had worked as a journalist, the station reported.

Haxhia entered Turkey via neighboring Macedonia and Bulgaria without being stopped by customs or police officials in either country, Albanian police sources told AFP.
