Saudis Claim to Have Nuclear Bomb

Dahham Al-‘Anzi made the claim while saying Saudi Arabia is engaged in an effort to “minimize the Iranian threat in the Levant and Syria.”

Although Saudi Arabia has officially denied it has a nuclear weapons program and has publicly stated it opposes nuclear weapons in the Middle East, it has funded a military nuclear program and received scientific assistance from the United States and Pakistan.

Despite this cooperation, US Secretary of State John Kerry told the Saudis in January there would be “all kinds of NPT consequences” if Riyadh received a nuclear weapon from Pakistan.

The Saudis began financing Pakistan’s atomic weapons project in 1974. “Our achievements are yours,” the Pakistani president, General Zia-ul-Haq, told the Saudis in the 1980s.

In the late 1980s the Saudis secretly bought dozens of CSS-2 ballistic missiles from China. The CSS-2, also known as the Dong Feng, is based on the Russian 9K720 Iskander missile. The intercontinental ballistic missile is designed to carry a 3 megaton nuclear warhead to a distance up to 12,000 kilometers.

“I do think that the Saudis believe that they have some understanding with Pakistan that, in extremis, they would have claim to acquire nuclear weapons from Pakistan,” said Gary Samore, Obama’s former counter-proliferation adviser.

In 2013 a senior NATO spokesman told the BBC nuclear weapons made in Pakistan on behalf of Saudi Arabia are ready to be delivered. In 2009 King Abdullah warned visiting US special envoy to the Middle East Dennis Ross Saudi Arabia “will get nuclear weapons” if Iran pursued a nuclear weapons program.

Following the P5+1 nuclear deal with Iran, the Saudis reasserted their desire to obtain a nuclear weapon.

“I think Saudi Arabia would seriously try to get the bomb if Iran did. It’s just like India and Pakistan. The Pakistanis said for years they didn’t want one, but when India got it, so did they,”said Jamal Khashoggi, the head of a Saudi news channel owned by the Saudi royal family.

Looks like ISIS's Godfather Saudis might have got their hands upon nuclear weapons most likely transferred from Pakistan Don't know whether it is true or not whether it was a genuine Pavlovian response or exaggeration but Saudi panelist claims Saudis have nuclear weapon.
This will make middle east a very dangerous place .
It would be brilliant and stupid idea for Pakistan if it is able to transfer some of its warheads to Saudis under the control of the Pakistani military out of India's prying eyes in the sky . An Indian counter strike would wipe Paki nuclear arsenal but if they are able to hide it in another country then the unpredictability increases for India.

They had DF3 for some time now, so all they need is the warhead which our paki neighbours will willingly provide for loads of cash. But does any warhead fit in a missile ?

Iran having nukes isn't that far fetched until Israel comes to the equation.

Good for India. In case of nuclear escalation, Kaaba should be flattened.

Actually India should include China and other Paki financiers on the list under its nuclear umbrella.

Saudi Arabia does have nuclear weapons, it's a known fact. In an interview, Ehud Barak said that the moment Iran does a nuclear test, Sauri Arabia will go nuclear in less than a week. He was alluding to the fact that the Saudis already have the weapons, they will just need a couple of days to do a nuclear test. Saudi Arabia is a defacto nuclear power, like Israel and Japan. They can assemble their nukes in less than a week if threatened.

CIA Confirms Saudi Arabia Have 7 Nuclear Bombs Ready To Use
The CIA asset revealed the information during a Fox News interview last week, and suggests that they can deliver these nuclear missiles via Saudi F-15 fighter jets.

Superstation95.com reports:

Last week, on “The Hal Turner Show” Mr. Turner told his audience that, based on his years of experience as a National Security Intelligence Asset with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, Saudi Arabia is in possession of nuclear weapons. He also made clear that a CIA asset had (earlier) made this revelation in public, on FOX NEWS CHANNEL, and this revelation was a staggering breach of Classified Information protocols.

Turner went on to say that “the only way a guy from the CIA would reveal such information is if Washington WANTED the information revealed; otherwise the person who exposed the classified material could be criminally prosecuted.”

Given the fact this revelation comes at a time when Syrian and Russian forces, battling Rebels and Terrorists inside Syria, may soon face a massive invading ground force, backed by massive amounts of tanks, the Russians may have to use Tactical (Battlefield) Nuclear Weapons to defend themselves from being over-run. Thus, the release of this information by the CIA on FOX NEWS CHANNEL is actually a THREAT to Russia; don’t use tactical nukes or the Saudis will nuke them back!

Above is a map showing the actual, proven range, of DongFeng Missiles, possessed by Saudi Arabia. These missiles are perfectly capable of carrying nuclear weapons within the range shown. Moreover, as you will see in the video below, the nuclear bombs which the Saudis have, can also be delivered to targets by Saudi F-15 fighter jets; meaning they can be dropped well beyond the range shown on the map above!

Report: Putin Threatens Turkey With Tactical Nukes

Award-winning Iran-Contra journalist Robert Parry has been told by a source close to Vladimir Putin that Russia has threatened Turkey with the use of tactical nuclear weapons if it launches a joint invasion of Syria with Saudi Arabia.

Writing for Consortium News, Parry warns that the risk of the United States and its allies escalating the conflict in Syria to rescue rebels who are now on the verge of defeat could spark “World War III”.

“If Turkey (with hundreds of thousands of troops massed near the Syrian border) and Saudi Arabia (with its sophisticated air force) follow through on threats and intervene militarily to save their rebel clients, who include Al Qaeda’s Nusra Front, from a powerful Russian-backed Syrian government offensive, then Russia will have to decide what to do to protect its 20,000 or so military personnel inside Syria,” writes Parry.

“A source close to Russian President Vladimir Putin told me that the Russians have warned Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that Moscow is prepared to use tactical nuclear weapons if necessary to save their troops in the face of a Turkish-Saudi onslaught. Since Turkey is a member of NATO, any such conflict could quickly escalate into a full-scale nuclear confrontation.”

Parry’s background suggests the information should be treated seriously. He covered the Iran-Contra scandal for the Associated Press and Newsweek and was later given a George Polk award for his work on intelligence matters.

According to Parry, although President Obama has “sought to calm Erdogan down and made clear that the U.S. military would not join the invasion,” he has been “unwilling to flatly prohibit such an intervention”.

Moscow’s alleged threat to repel a Turkish invasion of Syria with nuclear weapons follows comments by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in which hewarned of a new world warif the United States and its allies send ground troops into Syria.

Turkey and Saudi Arabia have both signaled they are considering a ground invasion of Syria in order to aid refugees and so-called “moderate rebels” fighting against the Assad regime.

Last week, Turkish officialscalled fora “safe zone” to be established within Syria to allow refugees to flee Russia’s advance, although the United States argued that such a corridor could not be set up without a no fly zone.

Saudi Arabia iscurrently conductingthe biggest wargames the region has seen for a quarter of a century. Northern Thunder involves 150,000 troops from 20 countries and is viewed by some as a precursor to a possible invasion of Syria.

Earlier this month, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeirtold CNNthat President Bashar al-Assad will have to be removed “by force” if the political process fails.

Despite official denials that the kingdom possesses nuclear weapons, Saudi political analysttold RT’s Arabic networklast week that the Saudis have indeed obtained the bomb and that tests will be conducted soon.

The world is sitting on the verge of a world war. Nuclear weapons will be used liberally in this war.

I know this is hard to believe that we are seeing events which are taking us to a catastrophic world war.

Up to one third of world population can die in such a war from direct and indirect causes, and world economy will crash.

Saudi can use nukes though the consequences will be severe.

I hope this remains at the threat level but there is no certainty.

The turkey/saudi threat of Syria invasion is an extremely grave event. I am surprised that military minded people on this message board are failing to see the seriousness of the situation.

Three reasons:

1. Ascendancy of communist China on the world stage
2. Revival of Russian power
3. Decline of American power

America is practically bankrupt. You and me may wish it away but it has very grave consequences.
