are they crazy ,first give the country the time to settale ,otherwise their all investment can go up in smoke,and without nato protection ,i dont think the carjay govt can hold a single day.

Wrong Debashree ... Afghanistan needs the money. The people there cant wait. They need jobs. They need to strenthen their financial state. Thats the only way the country can emerge out of its current state. Whatever investment comes in creates many thousands of jobs for young people, who could otherwise be on the payroll of the Taliban.

err, the US is always going to have a base there ( they will withdraw majority of the troops - but still have 50-60k there like in Iraq). It's sitting in china's backyard and is always going to be the security overseer in AF
