It is a shame that after decades of doing business with Russia India did not have the intelligence to realize the urgency for indigenous weapons development. Typical attitude,ego and arrogance at the top.

Even when we had so called good relationship with Russia I at this very forum said that Russia under Putin has become East European brat, a quixotic rouge nation like many of us know they behave in a certain way; they invaded Crimea few days after.

Watching Indian diplomacy for so many years I knew there will be discomfort in South block and a time will come when will be embarrassing our self defending Russian actions.
