बिलकुल, ये आपके लिए शान की बात है , लेकिन फिर INDIA की शान का क्या ????
अगर medals नहीं जीत पाते तो देश की शान खतरे में पड़ जाती है ।
आपको सिर्फ भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व ही नहीं करना है । आपको भारत को जितना भी है , दुनिया के सामने भारत मान रखना है ।

अगर जीतू राय या कोई और खिलाडी खुद के लिए , personally खेलता तो किसी को उनसे कोई मतलब नहीं होता फिर भले ही वो हारे चाहे जीते । पर जब आप भारत के नाम पर खेलोगे तो देश तो आपसे उम्मीदे लगाएगा ही ।

और फिर एक नहीं , सब के सब खिलाड़ी ही हारने लग जाए । तो देश के लोग तो निराश होंगे ही , और हो सकता है आपको उनकी गालियां भी सुननी पड़े ........

- अभिनव बिंद्रा 10 मीटर एयर राइफल में यूक्रेन के शेरही कुलीश के 163.8 अंक के साथ संयुक्त रूप से तीसरे स्थान पर थे। शूट ऑफ में हारे।
- बिंद्रा ने 2014 एशियन गेम्स के दौरान फाइनल राउंड में 166 अंक लेकर फाइनल में जगह बनाई थी। बाद में ब्रॉन्ज मेडल जीता था।
- बिंद्रा का एशियन गेम्स का फाइनल का स्कोर 187.1 था। जबकि रियो में ब्रॉन्ज जीतने वाले रूस के ब्लादिमीर का स्कोर 184.2 रहा।
- मतलब साफ है। अगर अभिनव एशियन गेम्स की परफॉर्मेंस भी दोहरा देते तो भारत का एक मेडल पक्का था।

2. तीरंदाजी: एवरेज 27.05, पर शूट ऑफ में 23 अंक ही ला सकी महिला टीम
- महिला टीम इवेंट के क्वार्टर फाइनल में रूस ने इंडियन आर्चरी टीम को शूट ऑफ में 25-23 से हरा दिया।
- दोनों टीमों के चार-चार अंक होने के बाद शूट ऑफ हुआ था।
- महिला टीम की तीनों तीरंदाजों का एवरेज स्कोर 27.05 है। यानी टीम शूट ऑफ में इसे बरकरार रखती तो सेमीफाइनल में पहुंच जाती।

3.पेस-बोपन्ना: ना तैयारी थी, ना तालमेल, जीत का प्रतिशत भी गिरा

- टेनिस में लिएंडर पेस-बोपन्ना की जोड़ी पहले दौर में हारी।
- पेस मैच से सिर्फ 48 घंटे पहले रियो पहुंचे। तैयारी तो कमजोर थी ही, तालमेल भी नहीं था।

4. टेबल टेनिस: निचली रैंकिंग वालों से हारे सौम्यजीत-अचंथ

- 39वीं रैंकिंग वाले सौम्यजीत घोष पुरुष सिंगल्स के पहले राउंड में 57वीं रैंकिंग वाले थाई प्रतिद्वंद्वी से हारे।
- 44वीं रैंकिंग वाले अचंथ शरत कमल 50वीं रैंक के रोमानियाई प्रतिद्वंद्वी से हारे।

5. स्विमिंग: अपने बेस्ट से 4.56 सेकंड पीछे रहीं शिवानी

- शिवानी कटारिया का 200 मीटर फ्री-स्टाइल में पर्सनल बेस्ट 2 मिनट 4.34 सेकंड का है। रियो में उन्होंने 2 मिनट 9.30 सेकंड का वक्त लिया।
- मेल स्विमर साजन प्रकाश का 200 मीटर बटरफ्लाई में पर्सनल बेस्ट 1 मिनट 59.27 सेकंड है। रियो में उन्होंने 1 मिनट 59.37 सेकंड का समय लिया।

6. मीराबाई: ट्रायल में 107 किलो उठाया, रियो में 106 में फेल

- वेटलिफ्टर मीराबाई चानू ने ट्रायल में 192 किलो वजन उठाकर 12 साल पुराना नेशनल रिकॉर्ड तोड़ा। तब स्नैच में 85 और क्लीन एंड जर्क में 107 किलो वजन उठाया था।
- रियो में स्नैच में सिर्फ 82 किलो वजन उठा सकीं। क्लीन एंड जर्क में 104 किलोग्राम उठाने की कोशिश की, उनकी लिफ्ट नाकाम रही।
- चानू अगर रियो में अपना पर्सनल बेस्ट दे पातीं तो उनका सिल्वर जीतना पक्का हो जाता। इंडोनेशिया की वेटलिफ्टर ने 190 किलो उठाकर सिल्वर जीता।

कोई shooter कुछ नहीं कर पा रहा ।

Good thing is deepika is back in form , bombayla Devi and atanu das us also looking rock solid
Yesterday I saw deepika shooting and she was constantly hitting bulls eye (hope is now kindled)

Our strong point is wrestling, boxing, shooting and weightlifting. Sports ministry should identify best 100 athletes from the country. They should be supplied proper kits, facilities, support, world class trainings, healthcare by ministry. Then lets see how can anyone not bring gold? India should always send minimum 170/180 atheletes. Among them, 100 should be from 1st four catagories. Rest can represent other events like hockey, archery, swimming, rowing etc.

We should also start training kids early. I see that it is already started to happen. My nephew spends lot more time in extra curricular activities.
