So SC orders to form a 3 member panel to do mediation ....:scared2: they don't have balls to make a decision when it comes to involvement of minority religion but they will simply strike down every ritual of hindus like sabrimala and others by simply using constitutional morality and judicial activism ..:bs:

Mediator panel : Retired SC Judge Ibrahim Kalifullah , Sri Sri Ravi shankar and Senior Advocate Sriram Panchu and they have 4 week to submit the first report ..There is goes Ram mandir into hibernation ..Bloody SC don't have the balls of even what Allahabad HC had ...ack thoooo

Today s Arnab debate was a disaster for BJp. Sambit Patra said he cant do anything as he(bjp) is not a party in the court case. Never saw these people so helpless, and arnab took every opportunity to embarass him. They are still expecting miracles from Supreme court:doh:

BJP thinks it can win without any action on Ram mandir, a grave error.

RJB people will tolerate this as opposition is against mandir construction. BJP will eventually get it built. Only fools will not vote knowing that NOTAchands will give 1.5 - 2 years of unstable govt. before elections again.

Different people vote for different reasons. You can't assume all will vote for stability. Some are just pissed off at BJP taking them for a ride on RJB. They might not vote against BJP, might simply refrain. In a close fight, it will really hurt.

I am amazed that BJP thinks they can simply put the ball in SC's court and expect their vote bank to buy it. Has Modi even ever mentioned RJB in the past ~5 years?

    .......................................................................................................

Ram Mandir will come, don't worry about it.

Mr Modi is all about hitting two birds with one stone and our job is to rile people up against the SC.

The Sharia courts have become too spineless and they should be made to understand who they actually serve (the NGOs or the people of India).

You know, looking at this whole Ram temple issue, I really feel that there are some things we need to do at the earliest.

    • Supreme Court needs some sort of accountability. If the PM and President of India are accountable, there needs to be some sort of a presiding body with rotational staff which can actually cut the unethical and opaque nature of working of the Supreme Court - not just for such large cases but for even small civil and criminal cases.
    • Ideal would be to give special powers to the President to issue warnings to panel judges who are waiting for some sort of political development to pass any bloody verdict. This case is over 100 years old and still going on after so many petitions and counter-petitions. There has to be a limit.
    • As a Buddhist, I am all in support of having a Ram temple in the birthplace of Shri Rama. While we don't directly worship the Devas and Devis that mainstream Hindus do, Ramjanmabhuimi as you call it, is your fundamental right. This reminds me of a line which the late Bal Thackeray said in a TV show in response to Rajat Sharma in "Aap ki Adalat" - "What is the proof that Shri Ram was born there itself?" to which Thackeray asked back sarcastically,"Where else was he born? in Pakistan?"
    • Not giving the land for the Ram temple would be like displacing Mecca from Saudi Arabia.
Honestly, I hope that the temple gets made and the case is made to rest. I don't understand what is the angst Muslims have against the temple, especially since Archaeological evidence suggests that the temple was used as a foundation to build the mosque.

If anything, going against the temple itself makes Muslims in India look negative because then they support the foreign invaders responsible for the brutal conversion of their forefathers, as well as destroying the temples and monasteries in India.

Some Muslims though are actively supporting the temple. Much appreciated given that their community doesn't hesitate to take action against their own people who think on their own.

@Tshering22 - The SC and its highest judges are accountable to the people. The constitution has provisions were the SC judges or even the CJ of SC & HC can be removed from the office. You will be aware of the the impeachment of the CJ of the Calcutta High court a few years back. Not being elected does not mean that they are not accountable.

Court proceedings do take time, largely because the courts have to go through every piece of evidence, regardless of their relevance, that affects the case. If there have been any previous cases, whose judgment has bearing on the current case, then all relevant proceedings of that case will be conferred. There is a reason why some verdicts run into tens of thousands of pages(not because courts get free stationary)the judges will have to give the rational for their verdict.

Of course then you have the right to to file a review against any verdict. Sr Advocate Harish Salve gave a good understanding of how a review is done by higher courts, while appearing in the ICJ. This is time consuming because the higher courts will review all the evidence presented previously and also any new evidence.

Just because we are unhappy with a verdict, we cannot call into question courts competence and neutrality. This would tantamount to cutting the branch that you are sitting on.
