But no one gonna lobby for Finmeccanica at all.
As far as defense deals are concerned, I'm more convinced with indigenization degree and it's improvement and increasing exports.

The end result is proactive diplomatic steps and strong standing and not a strong standstill on approach with pakistan.
It satisfied a bunch of people and paki media were forced to black out the speech which in itself puts pakis in a tight spot.

Typical logic.
Even if its Rajnath Singh in defence portfolio..he would take his time and as you say "Flip flop" on defence purchases because with the allocated budget and India over cautious with such deals and lobby, these purchases will be "played" till its kinda turns numb.. ya know..double the foreplay before the sex thing...kinda like that.

India has made the intentions clear in paki soil by the core politician of Indian security system. That should send some clear message to pakis...will keep Kashmiris and Indians in India going pretty good.
