So invading or annexing neighbouring countries is wrong but invading third world countries on other continents is damn fine. Oh not to forget creating terrorist organisations, breaking economies, genocide of innocent citizens on the name of freedom, creating propaganda to breed haters against particular countries etc. etc.Obama never invaded Canada and annexed parts of it, just as Merkel didn't do the same to Poland.
Neither have skimmed millions/ billions of the economies of their country and allowed their friend's to do the same.
Don't turn this thread too into another Putin circle jerk.
Sure, name the wars Obama has launched, name one.How do you what Putin did. Do you have any proof?
How many wars Obama launched?? Do I need to write?
Merkel's Germany is one of the main actors behind the mess in Ukraine. How is she blameless. Just because you say so. Vow.
Invading neighbours, yes that is wrong. Name one country, third world or otherwise, that Obama or Merkel have invaded. Name one terrorist organisation that Obama, or Merkel, have created. America may have played around with the price of oil, but sure... that is "damn fine" compared to invading a neighbouring state. Genocide please... "breeding haters" :fp:So invading or annexing neighbouring countries is wrong but invading third world countries on other continents is damn fine. Fact-checking the war comparisons between Obama and Bush | Poynter.Ryan Lizza, Washington correspondent for the New Yorker summed it up in one tweet.
"Countries bombed: Obama 7, Bush 4."
It's not Russia that's pushed Ukraine to the brink of war
It's not Russia that's pushed Ukraine to the brink of war | Seumas Milne | Comment is free | The GuardianThe attempt to lever Kiev into the western camp by ousting an elected leader made conflict certain. It could be a threat to us all
Obama, Bush, a "coup" in Kiev and an anti-USA story from the Guardian. These have relevance to Russian corruption how?
That's never going to happen, is it...Hopefully all the stolen money will be tracked down one day,
Normally Swiss banks and others bring up various knotty regulations why the money cannot be touched. And even if successful it will take years and withdrawals are in slabs. Meanwhile the lawyers fees would rise high. Bank would deduct hefty charges. Etc, etc. In the end, it is the bank and the country where the money is deposited, which will profit. Obviously the bank would be making investments during these decades of feet dragging. Lo and behold! By the time one such fund has been withdrawn another crooked politician would be making similar deposits.Hopefully all the stolen money will be tracked down one day, even if this day will be in the time after Putin and even if the was transfered to hidden acconuts and is deposited now in secret places e.g.in Swizerland or in other offshore places. Once all the money was tracked down, it can be seized and might be given back to its legal owners and/or the state and government, so that it could be used for official and public purposes for all citizens. And hopefully he will be arrested and made responsible for the money theft or any doubtful or illegal transactions that might have taken place in the period of his power. All oney transactions normally leave traces somewhere that can be followed, investigated and tracked down. There are rumors also, that the current government might be involved in the political persecution, prosecution and even murder of critical journalists and many other political enemies. The best way to remove him ,would be of course by his own people. All the power comes from the folks and the people of a nation. We think that although he pretends to be a strong leader for Russia, at the end of day he is harmful for the country and its people.
