Our PM, central govt and their balls are under the feet of sonia, last term we had corrupt president and govt, and now again our President is also under sonia’s feet and same govt till 2014. Around whole country was in favor of the second term of Dr. Kalam, but sad news for us that this corrupt people will continue rule on us…

I am little sad that we won't have you as our reprensatative anymore.After a lot of years people of murshidabad gets a big leader like you who do a significant development of murshidabad .But at the end i am happy that you are going to do bigger job. If i was in her place i also do the same. Bengalies irrespective their religion,cast in general celebrate in this occasion. Whole murshidabad celebrate last night along with rest of bengal. After indipendance first time to see a bengali as president of course means something for us bengalies. We are happy that latest mir jafar of bengalies aka mamta's conspirancy fail. /\/\/\ Shuridh was overwhelmed with emotion... [this was for Tripura being included under Bengalis] This has been a very public and undignified exposure of our political system though. In the days before 24 X 7 TV coverage, all this drama would be known only to select journalists. I am glad for Pranab da [even though he is not an ideal candidate like APJ Kalam, having been involved in political wheeling-dealing, particularly with one business group, since the days of Indira Gandhi], he has been slogging for Congress party for almost 5 decades now, this is the least they could do i.e. give him what he wants. Since UPA has the requisite numbers and SP and BSP providing support to whoever is Congress candidate, most probably Pranab da will be elected. I hope he will conduct himself in non-partisan manner keeping the interests of the country above that of Congress party, as a President of India should. Shuridh, Shiv Sena choosing Pratibha Devi Patil as a Marathi gave us this disastrous lady who travelled all over the world with her children and grand children and tried to grab land meant for ex-servicemen. I hope the day comes when Indians will choose leaders based on their merit rather belonging to particular state/region/religion/caste etc.
Tripura is a bengali majority state.Bengalies are 74% of tripura's population.The sentiment of bengalies of tripura state won't be different from us.
