Nice! When I was a student, I used a real spec'ed out laptop as a portable desktop too!

Which graphics cards do you have in SLI config? 260?

Dual Nvidia Geforce GTX 280M graphics cards in SLI.

By the way, I am going with ATI cards in my desktop because they are faster than Nvidia now. Even Alienware is going with ATI now.

280M are good graphics cards! No doubt about it. I hope you use a notebook cooler though or dell must have some kind of thermal paste installed in the alienware laptops with SLI.

I dont see Alienware desktops yet with fermi cards combination. Link please? Not to mention that Fermi cards don't have favorable reviews since they consume too much power and run really hot while providing only a marginally improved performance over Radeon 5870/5970

Since someone decided to keep the thread going, I'll just post pictures of my PC's components.

My Biostar TPower I55 motherboard just before its installation (click to enlarge):

The GTX 260 SSC graphics card with a SilenX triple-prop cooler (lets it overclock like mad):

A good sound-card is always a "sound" investment. The X-Fi Xtreme Gamer in my box gives audio quality that's world's apart from onboard HD audio.

I have a bit old configuration compared to all of your new ones:-

Intel Dual Core E2160 @ 1.8 GHz with Windows 7 32-Bit installed
1 GB Umax RAM
180 GB Hitachi HDD
Nvidia Geforce XFX 8400 GS
19 Inch LCD NEC screen
Gigabyte 945GCM-S2C
X-86 based PC

I know this is a below average configuration but this is all what I have. Just thinking about to upgrade my RAM and Processor. Suggest any upgrades guys.

Got myself a mini lappy today. N450 Atom with 1GB RAM and 160GB HD. Battery backup of 11 hours claimed by the manufacturer. It is going to serve my purpose.
