We will have to prepare for the bloodbath that could follow in the wake of post 2014 US withdrawl from Afg. Strategic planning must begin NOW. IMO the counter offensive assets of the RAW and the IB alongwith their intelligence gathering ability must reach the ability from where we can maintain live watch over the Terror Heads.
It might also be worth drawing up plans to conduct raids by the IA SF and/or the SG/SFF setting up clandestine operation bases inside POK, targetting the jihadi factories and the launching pads of the terror organisations.

We have ourselves to blame to make that Hafiz guy some sort of hero inside Pakistanis heart.

We have been chanting " Give us hafiz, give us hafiz, ohh we was seen him there, he talked like this/that, he made public appearance, blah blah blah" like a kindergarden student complaining to a deaf Headmaster.

Well what the use. Paks will always respond give us evidence or shut up.:taunt:

The soft tone and softer image we have been projecting is sickening.

MODs... request for a poll...

What should India's stance be regarding the Hurriyat leaders' reported meet with Hafiz Saeed?
1) It does not pose a security threat, let them be
2) It is their democratic right which government cannot infringe upon
3) India should be more careful in the future while issuing visa to separatists
4) The Hurriyat delegation should be charged with attempted treason and questioned

Our RAW is toothless... we have no external intelligence capability except a bit of electronic intercept ability. If we would have had active covert agents, we would have taken out Hafiz Saeed, Abdul Makki and even Dawood in black ops mission without anyone being wiser. So many good people get assassinated or just simply disappear... can't be that difficult a task!

What you see in the Current day RAW is the effect of IK Gujral's order shutting down the offensive operations capability of RAW in the interest of "Ghandian morality". The RAW was transformed from a force capable of conducting clandestine opertions inside PAK and the middle east to a toothless agency without the ability to carry out its mandate. The foreign assets that RAW had painstakingly developed through decades inside hostile nations were dissolved in an instant, and it soon became as if it never even existed.

Though I can assure you that RAW is quietly and subtly but surely regenerating these capabilities after the 26/11 attacks. There has been a marked increase in manpower and equipment since then, and also it does appear the SG led clandestine operations unit is slowly becoming fully functional. It will take some more time yet at the current rate of progress to reach the required level, but it surely will, barring a chnge of will in South block that is. The entire asset base will have to be rebuilt from the ground, and Afg. Is a frontier in this regard.
