he task of the Association is to promote the medieval combats as sport competitions, to promote and support people that participate in the discipline, and to organize and patronize knight tournaments, including combats of that type. Furthermore, the Association is going to support Polish National Team during preparation for major international knight tournaments, and to facilitate access to professional trainings by helping training centers.

The POAMC's activity is not only about promoting sporting knight competition. The members of the Association are passionate about reenacting the culture of Medieval Ages and they also wish to popularize other aspects of this epoch. We would like to call attention to our aim, which is to continuously improve the quality of reconstruction of our equipment. We also trust that the viewers watching the combats may learn a few things about the history of Polish medieval weapons, properly armed knights and customs related to medieval knight tournaments.

Anyone, who identifies with our message, may become a member of the Polish Association of Medieval Combat. Reenactors of 14th and 15th centuries are welcome, as well as people engaged in earlier time until late medieval period. We hope that by working together we will contribute to greater popularization of historical reconstruction, and gain many supporters and fans, who will cheer for us during tournaments that will take place in Poland, as well as in other countries.
