In order to pictorially and spec wise further document this thread, here are the five large AOR vessels currently serving in the PLAN with their specs, pennant numbers, names, and a couple of pictures of each:

886 QIANDAOHU (East Sea)

887 WEISHANHU (South Sea)

I particularly like the pics of them doing UNREP, and particularly of 885 and 887 doing so with the new, modern PLAN vessels. The best of which is the one above with 885 with a Type 071 LPD, a Type 052C DDG, and a Type 054A FFG all at one time in that pic. Says a lot about the developing PLAN capability. I believe that this is the mark of a true blue water navy, the ability to supply your warships far from home waters, extending their war-fighting capability.

Btw, Fusu class belongs to the Komandarm class Tankers of Soviet. They were actually developed for Soviet Navy, but later sold the both Indian and China Navy. Under IN they called has INS Joyti

it is believed to be the 3rd FUCHI CLASS Amphibious ships lunched days ago...some improvement could be found as well

the forth one would be lunched in months in Shanghai

That's very true Sukhoi, it was originally laid down by the Soviets, but after their collapse, they couldn't finish it, and the PLAN bought the bare hull and completed it on their own, much like the ex-Varyag. Joyti was bought off the Russians after the Soviet split. It also happens to be the largest ship in the Indian Navy, well at least until ex-Gorshkov comes into service.
Another similar ship, but with a Chinese hull this time, HTMS Similan, won the Thai navy's competition for a supply ship for their light carrier, the PLAN classes both vessels under a single class.

885 employs two 30mm CIWS guns my friend.

Again very true brother. Apparently, they're expanding the PLAN's replenishment ship fleet to 10, which would also involve replacing the now 33 year old Fuqing class.
