I don't think so. the tax on oil is still very high. even market regulation can't help much. unless the tax is brought down

some states did reduce the tax on oil. for instance TN slashed the vat and reduced the petrol prices by a few rupees per litre. but the center govt tax forms the bulk of the tax and hence the onus Ian on the center to reduce the taxes and stop the inflation. with the price of petrol up by such a big margin, the inflation Will increase even more and the fall in rupees Will be even more pronounced and Will lead to a vicious cycle. seriously I think it is time to stop the useless subsidies.

How about setting the economy straight by not stealing??
Every day the nation is being plundered by scam after scam(2G, Kaveri basin, coal, iron-ore...)
Apparently this 'honest' PM and his cabinet will steal and sell everything that isn't nailed to the floor.

This PM is a disgrace. He is dancing to the tune 'Sonia ki Jawani' while Nero(Rahul) plays the fiddle. He has let the economy burn and the rupee go down the drain.

Just resign you spineless coward. Have you no selfrespect. You are a disgrace to all Sardars. Pathetic!!
