The bomb blast reportedly took place on Boghra Road in Chaman. — DawnNewsTV

A bomb blast on Boghra Road in Chaman injured three persons on Wednesday, DawnNewsTV reported citing Levies sources.

Among the injured were a tribal leader, his guard and another — all three of whom were transferred to a hospital for treatment.

Following the blast, security forces cordoned off the affected area and started gathering evidence — Levies sources said.

PESHAWAR: Two members of the bomb disposal squad of security forces were martyred after being hit by a hidden improvised explosive device (IED) near Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Mohmand district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Friday.

Both district administration and security sources have confirmed the incident that took place in Khawaizai Baizai subdivision in Jarobi Dara area near the Afghan border.

Naib Subedar Shehzad and Sepoy Kaleem were martyred while another member of the BDS, Mohsin sustained injuries in the incident.

Tribal elder, guard killed in Bajaur IED blast

The injured and bodies were shifted to nearby corps wing headquarters, where funeral prayers of the martyred soldiers were offered.

Jarobi Dara is the Pak-Afghan border area of Mohmand tribal district of K-P province. The Pak Army are working on fencing the border in these area in its first phase, which will be completed till next year to stop the militant infiltration from the Afghan side.

The attack was on the paramilitary Frontier Corps in Loralai. The School of Frontier Corps and Training Centre Loralai is the primary training institution for the FC. It is not an army cantt.

However, Pak army personnel serve on deputation especially in the higher ranks.

time to do simultaneous salami slicing to retake pakistan occupied kashmir and pakistan occupied pashtunistan by ind and afg simultneously. Pak should be dragged into arms race with afghanistan. India should donate arjun tanks to afghanistan to be deployed on disputed durand line. Instead of arresting the honeytrapped soldier , India should have fed misinformation through him that india is planning to sending 500 arjun tanks to afghanistan. We should turn moles in our system as our assets by feeding wrong information to enemy through them voluntarily or involuntarily. Dubai and saudi aid tht pak is getting shoud be fritted away in arms race.We must ensure that pak is unable to repay any loans to international lenders.
