KARACHI: Pakistan Air Force Chief Tahir Rafique Butt has said that Pakistan would respond to any aggression in befitting manner.

He was speaking at a ceremony in connection with the conclusion of tripartite exercises, which started in October 2012.

JF-17 Thunder warplanes took part in the exercises for the first time, according to a statement issued by the PAF.

It said that the PAF chief stressed for preparedness and swift reaction to prevailing security challenges.

"We are a peaceful nation but are fully prepared for security of our motherland," the air chief was quoted as saying.

taking out unarmed UAV is nothing, try taking on armed fighter, When USAF came for OBL raid, your great fighter Pilots backed off, the idea of getting shot out of Pakistani sky, have taken their breath away.

BTW if you guys like to be raped, it is fine by me. Daily drone attack by US in your airspace killing your citizen is living example of this fact, so we thought hum bhai nadi maa haath saaf kar lay.

The moment the R word (see, I'm being diplomatic, pure nobility ) props up, why does your mind fly back to the 'Insert Tab A into Slot B' scenario?
English was, is and always will be a funny language, with a single word have multiple meanings depending upon the framework of its usage. Hey, you wanted the 26 alphabets instead of the 60 odd in local ones.

Okay, maybe, that was a bit above the Mard-e-Moin's head.

But on topic, what would you expect the PAF chief to say? The cold, bitter truth? C'mon be realistic. He's a Pak military man. When was the last time anyone said the truth? The PAF SAAB loss, the P3C loss ring any bells?

The reality is PAF for the forseeable future will barely be capable of putting up a brave face to the IAF, and that too, will be essentially a game of bluff.

This is not to say that PAF cannot damage or destroy IAF infrastructure, they most certainly can do that. But not enough to cause any serious impediment to IAF operations or tempo. Withe the newer LR-SAMs destined to arrive in IAF inventory, the PAF will be fending off SAM attacks right over their own airbases.

It's a hollow statement to satisfy common Pakis, right after Indian fighter jet crossed the LoC. They can't give befitting reply but hollow statements.

But we didn't respond in a manner you, your media, your govt. and your armed forces did.
Who the hell is paranoid? IAF or PAF?

Your PAF changed statement that PAF action caused IAF to move back, when it's clear that IAF jets were back before any kind of action by PAF.

None, read no one can drill it into the thick heads of your country-men what a technical violation is.

Well under Zia rule a blind girl Safia Bibi was raped and she was jailed, her crime was how she allowed herself to get raped :)

Under the religion of peace rape is punishable crime by death, but here's the catch the victim needs to produce 4 witnesses which in most cases does not happen so in the end the victim is accused of fornication.

Not even counting the millions of rape West Pakis did in Bangladesh, have a peek below!

In 2012, The Express Tribune covered over 150 reports on cases of rape and their follow-ups across the country, but the actual number of incidents is likely much higher as the stigma of rape, treatment meted out by police officials and low prosecution rates makes this crime largely unreported.

While statistics are few and far between, according to a November report by the Awaz Foundation Centre for Development, as many as 2,713 cases of violence against women have been reported in 15 districts of southern Punjab since January 2012, giving some measure of the scale of the issue.

I know about this event but didn't wanted to quote it because of fear of insulting the beliefs of indian muslims brothers
