@rockey 71 Getting Mig29K should be a good option since you already operate those and both India and Russ use them, so expect more improvements in them.

Jf17 assembly is a nice step for pak indeed, but even BD would be able to do that given your govt. decides such a thing. I heard JF17 disintegrated midair after crack developed on the airframe.

BD and India govt is close, it can benefit from collaborations with India and generate jobs for high skilled workers in your country, India is relatively new in this field, so BD can get a better bargain in TOT with India on various systems than they would with Russia or China.

Really, the last I heard that those Pakis need to source those Russian engines for their Junk Fighters through China. Assembling a DIY kit ordered from Alibaba.com(China) does not amount to production.

What production? They are begging for weapons from all countries. Whatever they have is from china. Recently china 'gifted' attack helicopters. They cant even produce electricity then how will they run defence industries?.

So it's confirmed that the Myanmar Air Force has grounded all 11 JF-17Ms due to malfunctions & structural issues that Pakistan's PAC has not yet been able to resolve. Obviously any such issues with the PAF will never make news since it'll be suppressed.
