I.PAKISTAN'S AIR POWER
1.China's KJ 2000 & SWEEDEN'S SAAB ERICEYE AWACS,which can detect Indian jets 300-350 km distance away in air.Awacs plays an important role in bvr war fare which is the the 21st century common aerial warfare.
2.PAF's acquistion of AIMRAAM 120 C5 BVRAAM FOR F16 JETS ,which is the best combat proven bvraam missile & acquisition of
CHINESE SD -10 BVRAAM MISSILE FOR JF -17 & J10 JETS gives the paf same capabilty as of IAF
3.PAF ACQUISTION OF AMERICAN AEROSTAT L-88 RADAR,which fills the gap of low aerial radar surveillance ,it can detect low flying jets ,cruise missiles ,uav.
4.PAF F16 JET would be the main threat to IAF'S SU 30 MKI JET & FUTURE MMRCA,while J-10 & POORMAN'S FIGHTER JF 17 would be handy for IAF'S MiG 29 ,MIRAGE 2000 & IAF'S CUTE BABY FIGHTER LCA TEJAS.
5.PAKISTAN ACQUISTION OF BRAZILIAN MER -1 ANTIRADIATION MISSILE,which can target indian radar installations from 40-50 km away.It can target india's GREEN PINE RADAR SYSTEM .
INDIA'S COUNTER STRATEGY
1.IAF'S KS-172 NOVATOR ULTRA LONG RANGE BVRAAM whose range is around 300km,would enable IAF SU -30 MKI to destroy PAF's AWACS easily,without having to deal with PAF'S JETS 1ST.Destruction of PAF's AWACS would turn PAF'S JETS blind,as they would be forced to use their radars ,which would make them vulnerable to be detected by IAF'S PHALCON AWACS which are far superior than PAF's AWACS & would be handicapped in BVR warfare.
2No doubt AIMRAAM is the best combat proven BVRAAM ,but it still can be jammed.Meanwhile IAF'S SU-30MKI JET HAS ISRAELI made countermeasures which are far more superior than russian counter measures,along with superior THRUST VECTOR MANUVERABILITY it can easily dodge these missile.India is not a fool ,she wont be sending his flying coffins MIG 21 JETS to do surgical strikes in pakistan,india would be sending it's frontline fighters like SU 30 MKI JETs to do surgical strikes in pakistan.I cant say very much about CHINESE SD -10 BVRAAM MISSILE,as it is not war proven ,only thing i can say about it is that it is as usual chinese copy & paste product.India would always have the edge in BVRAAM missiles ,as it would have RUSSIAN R-77M1 MISSLES OR IT'S FUTURE DERIVATIVES,METEOR,FUTURE RAMJET POWERED ASTRA BVRAAM

3.PAF'S AEROSTAT RADAR SYSTEM can also be targetted with KS-172 NOVATOR ULTRA LONG RANGE BVRAAM ,india has it's own ISRAELI MADE WORLD'S BEST EL/M-2083 AEROSTAT RADAR SYSTEM.
4.IAF jets wont allow PAF jets to get anywhere close to the indian radar system perimeter to fire their MER -1 ANTIRADIATION MISSILE,they would be intercepted as soon as possible when they enter indian air space.
5.INDIAN AIRFORCE'S SU 30 MKI is undoubtedly the best 4.5++ generation fihter jet ,which is a mixture of russian ,western & isreali weapon platform,it single handedly fulfills IAF's air superiority over all PAF's jets.All other IAF's jets are for back up ,i am sure their use would not be required.PAF'S F16 is the only fighter in paf which can challenge SU 30 MKI,but surely the kill ratio would be in favour of SU-30MKI,the rest others jets like JF 17 & J 10 are just like chinese products ,even god cant say how would they perform in war.India had arm twisted the french not to arm the JF-17 with their missiles & avionics.
6.Indian pilots are more mature & have perfected the art of BVR warfare than pakistani counterparts.Every airforce in the world with which IAF has done aerial war games have appreciated indian fighter skills.On the other hand pakistani pilots praise themselves ,only through their own mouth & had created a false hysteria that their pilots are better than indian pilots in websites & defence journals.
7.PAF'S threat to counterstrike india if india does surgical air strike is not as easy as it looks to them,as india is upgrading it's own air defence with isreali spyder air defence system & india's own indigenious akash sam systems ,which can take out enemy's jets ,uav ,terrain hugging cruise missile including stealth tagets
8.India is going to acquire some fearsome flying machines in coming years ,like 5TH GEN IND-RUS FFGA T-50 JET ,FUTURE MMRCA EITHER EUROFIGHTER TYPHOON OR RAFALE ,Whichever jet ind choses it would be armed with METEOR MISSILE,ASRAAM missile & all other latest weapon developed by MBDA & these weapons system would be denied to pakistan through secret agreements.NDIAN VERSION OF FFGA T-50 would be more advanced than their russian counterparts,as it would have western ,russian & israeli systems,which could seriouly challenge american f-22 raptor.india is way ahead of pakistan in drones race ,oneday it would have stealthy ucav's like AURA.India has more force multipliers & network centric platforms than pakistan like satellites ,drones attack helicopters.But that does n't mean PAF cant do any damage to IAF or it's territory,whichever side utilises superior air tactics would do maximum damage to 'it's adversary.Iaf's 1st priority should be to destroy as many PAF F- 16 jets as possible either in air or in ground ,as the PAF hide their jets in underground heavily fortified bunkers to avoid enemy air strikes.India may require deep penetrating bunker buster missile to destroy PAF underground air bases.IAF also has it's weakness ,it lacks proper air defence in southern india ,PAF would definetly expoit it with a sadistic smile on their face.
