Pakistan : Many killed in attack on Checkpost in Kurram

PESHAWAR: At least three security personnel were killed and four others were wounded in a militant attack on a checkpost in central Kurram tribal region's para Chanmkani area on Friday, DawnNews reported.

Moreover, security officials told Dawn.com that nine militants were also killed in retaliatory action by security forces.

The migration of locals has picked up pace from the area after the ongoing operation has begun.
