KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami leader Mumtaz Sahto said that Pakistan is gift from Allah, which came into being after countless sacrifices rendered by Muslims of the sub-continent. Speaking at the flag hoisting ceremony at Quba Auditorium, Federal B area here on Wednesday, the JI leader said that everyone has to play its role for bright future of Pakistan. He was of the view that country would mark real freedom when Islamic Shariah would be enforced, adding that JI was struggling for the same such. ppi

KARACHI: In connection with the Independence Day celebrations, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at the PIA head office here on Wednesday. The Deputy Managing Director (Engineering) PIA, Air Vice-Marshal Qasim Masood Khan hoisted the national flag. Prayers were also offered for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan and for the betterment of the PIA. The officers and employees of the PIA attended the ceremony. app

India is not an issue for Pakistan being part of Arab league. There are 2 problems actually.

1. Arabs would never consider Pakistanis to be Arabs! Acknowledging that Pakistanis are Muslims is the maximum that the Arabs are willing to do for Pakistanis providing them cheap/young camel riders!
2. Pakistanis will have to take their country to the Arab lands as there is a Iran between them and those Persians have got a spinal cord in their system that prevents them from calling themselves as Arabs!

coming back to the topic at hand;
afaik, regarding the greater (global) arab society, ( and i know somwof them here ) even among themselves there is so much classification never mind about somehow fitting packland into that mess ( eg the saudi arabians consider themselves as the temporary guardians of islam , they consider the algerians and the maghrebi as "africans" , they consider the lebanese as "loose living " et etc then there are the reactions from those etc etc .....very complicated, more so than even indian society


so packland, if at all they do fit in somewhere - it will probably be among the Palestinian-refugee part of arab society
( but not to be confused as being part of the Palestinian elite .)
