@Razor I agree that france is an ally however, there are reservations due to the mistral fiasco & joining NATO.
Price seems too high compared with su30mki or su35 but who knows.
I'm doubtful about the deal going through, however they may try to deflect that by going all in on sub deals to keep 'relationship' alive.

France is not an ally. If france was an ally, we would have got joint production of rafale and it would be already flying in iaf in numbers.

All france deals are commercial, not strategic.

The reason is simple. Russia needs india. France does not need india.
