I would like the opinion of senior members here, what you think, IA will be allowed to take Revenge of this brutal provocation or will get orders not to do anything, in order to not escalate this matter further ?

If at all IA does avenge it will not be public like it has happened previously. Government may not interfere as it can bring down the morale of the Army. It will do only if it is pressured by US. US and China has already started pressuring India.

And no one knows what actually precipitated this whole situation. I can only think of PA trying to sneak through militants when IA took action which led to Pak soldier getting killed and the barbaric killing of our soldiers by uniformed terrorists.

This is the biggest problem with you guys, you not only decide your tactics but also think that we will retaliate as per your needs. get whomever you want as head of your nation, we will do much more than what we did in 1971.

Two Indian soldiers were killed on Tuesday in a gunfight with unidentified gunmen near the Line of Control (LoC) that divides the contested Himalayan region of Kashmir between India and Pakistan, an Indian military official said.

The official said troops were on a regular patrol near Mendhar, 220 km (140 miles) north of the Indian city of Jammu when they saw some "suspicious movement half a kilometre inside our territory".

"Our troops challenged them to surrender but they were fired upon," said Rajesh K. Kalia, spokesman for the Indian army's Northern Command.

Watch paki monkeys on tv debate directly referring to Kashmir being disputed. I smell attempt to bring Kashmir in International news again to dispute India's claim.

can you share the source of your information?who told you that india will take GB/Azad kashmir?

I don't want to teach you 1 +1=2 but there would be no reason for India to
hold on to Siachen if this were true.

Can you elaborate on this?? Pakistani army was in bangladesh helping bangladesh
get independence? India passed the UN resolution to break Pakistan in two pieces.

they themself wanted

we were already in a civil war.

Then 100,000 Pakistani soldier surrender was just an act of bravery or support
for Bangladeshis. The greatest surrender after ww2 and before Iraq war.

Syed Akbaruddin, a spokesman for India's foreign ministry, said in a statement that military commanders from the two countries had been in contact since the violence. Such contacts normally occur to make sure confrontations do not escalate.

Brig. S. Chawla, a senior Indian army officer, said the Pakistani soldiers crossed into Indian-controlled Kashmir near the town of Mendhar, about 110 miles (175 kilometers) from Srinagar, the region's main city, taking advantage of thick fog. The Pakistani soldiers retreated after a brief gunbattle with Indian forces, he said.

He said one of the Indian bodies had been mutilated, but provided no more details.

"They not only violated the cease-fire, but also the sanctity of the line of control" that divides Kashmir, Chawla said.

there were many more reasons

*No Supply to them
*surrounded by bangladesh's(they were more keen in killing them than the indians)
*surrounded by indians from all side

*Order from official.the same official whom were responsible for the civil war otherwise the bangladesh's were more patriotic than the west pakistani

PAKISTANI TROOPS INTRUDE ACROSS LC: TWO INDIAN SOLDIERS MARTYRED IN FIRE FIGHT


In a significant escalation to the continuing series of Cease Fire Violations and infiltration attempts supported by Pak Army, a group of their regular soldiers intruded across the Line of Control in the Mendhar Sect on 08 Jan 2013. Pak army troops, having taken advantage of thick fog & mist in the forested area, were moving towards own posts when an alert area domination patrol spotted and engaged the intruders. The fire fight between Pak and own troops continued for approximately half an hour after which the intruders retreated back towards their side of Line of Control. Two soldiers Lance Naik Hemraj and Lance Naik Sudhakar Singh laid down their lives while fighting the Pak troops.

This is yet another grave provocation by Pak Army which is being taken up sternly through official channels.
