PAK-FA project will be delayed If china doesn't buy Su-35

I think T-50 program is not dependent on sale of Su-35 and there is Indian money pouring in.

i think it is just like saying if china doesnt sell jf 17 or pirated lavi copy j10 to any bankrupt country then j20 project would be delayed

Word is Russia has agreed to reduce the order from 48 to 24. The Chinis want to buy the same number of engines for the 48 as they do on the 24 order. China wants it for the engines since they have failed to make their own turbofans.

problem is they seem to think the indian money is coming cheap - i see a pattern ( not too difficult to see actually ) where they are holding our deposits in whatever program hostage and then playing some kind of games in mid-course - so all our investment goes to nought unless we pour more in

we better figure out something to prevent this happening too frequently - really we are caught on the wrong foot already with certain of our departments waiting for things to happen - not pro-active but reactive and even then rather tardy response

we already had this crop up with gorshkov and a couple of other projects -- i sure hope our "back home " folks will speed up the learning curve on such tricks ?

All of Murphys laws applies to the PAK-FA and thats just Russia buiilding the plane, it does not take in to account the part HAL will play.
