One thing that always strikes me is how Pakistani media reports on every independence day or even on winning the rare cricket match (parroting a pre-scripted lie) about how Kashmiris unfurled Pakistani flags.

The same media goes silent on how Balochis are burning the same flag right inside!

Thats the reason it is Pakistani media and if you tell them that Baluchistan is celebrating independence almost all of them would say that it is west-Zionist strategy and propaganda.
There is nothing wrong with Baluchistan , India is interfering in that and everything is alright.

May be that's the reason they have used helicopter gunships and air strike to weed out the so called terrorist from the cave ( nawab bugti).

India is clear: Baloch leader ,Akhtar Mengel

DECCAN CHRONICLE

August 4th, 2009
By Neena Gopal

Bengaluru, Aug. 3: On a day when Pakistan’s Prime Minister Yusaf Raza Gilani crowed over the inclusion of Balochistan in the Sharm el Shaikh joint statement leaving the door open for Pakistan to raise ‘Indian interference in Balochistan’, a former chief minister of the Pakistani province firmly rubbished Islamabad’s claims of Indian support to the Baloch separatist movement.

Sardar Akhtar Mengel, charismatic leader of the Balochistan National Party, at the forefront of the beleaguered Baloch move to carve out a separate state said: “It is a complete fabrication, the Baloch quest for self-determination is completely indigenous, and the attacks are on the Baloch people, not the other way around, it is our young men who are being taken away from their homes to face false charges.”

In a telephone interview with Deccan Chronicle, Mengel, son of the legendary Attaullah Mengel and close aide of the assassinated Nawab Akbar Bugti said: “India is not involved in supplying arms and weapons or cash to the Baloch nationalists. Not one paisa. Not one bullet. It’s a completely false allegation. I wish India were involved, that would make it much easier for us. Nobody has helped us. I wish somebody would. Our people are being systematically attacked with weapons provided by the US to hunt down Taliban and al Qaeda. And no one in the West raises a voice against it.” “First they say Afghanistan, now they say India. Let Pakistan prove it, let them prove Indian involvement,” he said in an open challenge to

Pakistan’s “elected civilian” government, that he said “is no different to the Musharraf dictatorship”.

Instead, he said the ISI and the military continues to target them. “They tried to kill us all. I was lucky to survive. They wanted to eliminate me in an encounter. Brahmadegh Bugti escaped but Nawab Bugti’s other grandsons did not. Not one of us has any protection,” he said.

Released from detention in May this year after two years in a Karachi jail, there was outrage when he was produced bound and fettered in a cage in a Karachi court during a show trial.

The young leader was held on charges of sedition after he planned a long march to protest Bugti’s assassination and the crackdown on the Baloch people that followed Mengel mocked Pakistan’s charge that India was behind the 2004 killing of three Chinese engineers helping to build Gwadar port, and said the claim was patently false.

“The Balochistan Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the killing,” Mengel said, while also denying Pakistan’s allegations that his movement’s leaders had held secret negotiations with India.

“Pakistan’s allegations of outside help are a cover for the annihilation of our people fighting a legitimate movement for self-determination.

Balochistan was a nation before 1947. After the fall of Dhaka, the ISI and the military were afraid we would break away so they stepped up the attacks on our people. Pakistan does not want the Baloch people to survive, they want our land, they want our natural resources,” he said, referring to Balochistan’s rich oil and gas reserves.

“This charge of outsiders helping our movement is not new. It started in 1947 when the Khan of Kalat was forced to sign a document acceding to Pakistan, despite both houses of the Baloch parliament ruling against it, and the movement against accession began.”

At the time, he said, Islamabad claimed Iraq had supplied the Baloch with weapons. “Why would weapons meant for us be found in Islamabad, some 2000 km away when we have an 800 km long coastline that would have been far more accessible?”

He said the current blitz against his people was similar to the time when helicopter gunships supplied by the Shah of Iran to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s government were used to crush the Baloch resistance.

Asked if Pakistan Prime Minister Gilani’s claims that “there would be good news on Balochistan” meant that talks were underway between Islamabad and the separatists, he said “not from our side”.

Talks with the PML(Q) government had seen “two delegations come to us, one led by Waseem Sajjad, chairman of the senate and the other by Mushahid Hussain. The result? The murder of Nawab Bugti.”

Describing the assassination as a huge shock, he said: “Why does no one ask what happened to Nawab Bugti’s body, which nobody saw or of the many supporters who were with him when he died. What happened to their bodies? We believe Musharraf authorised the use of chemical weapons against Nawab Bugti and his men.”

Asked why the Baloch leaders had done little to improve the lot of their people, allegedly keeping the wealth accruing from royalties to the Sui gas pipeline with them, he said: “This is a false charge. Baloch leaders like my father built the only university in the province when he was chief minister, as well as the only hospital. The Pakistan army has built huge cantonments on my land, on Bugti’s land, on Marri land. If they can build illegal cantonments on our land, why can’t they build roads, schools and hospitals?”

Pak back to square one
Pakistani premier Yousuf Raza Gilani on Monday said he had expressed “serious concerns over Indian interference in Balochistan” in his discussions with PM Manmohan Singh. He also called for resumption of dialogue on Kashmir.

Baloch insurgency could hamper Pak Govt.'s drive against Taliban: Report

Lahore, Aug.16 (ANI): The Baloch unrest could seriously dent the Pakistan Government's operation against the Taliban and its economy as well, a report in the Financial Times has said.

According to the report, the insurgency in Balochistan could distract security forces from tackling the Taliban along the lawless Afghan border and the Swat Valley.

Separatists are targeting important buildings and other strategic installations in the region and have asked outsiders to leave as soon as possible.

"They are openly telling the Punjabis, 'Leave while you can.' While everyone is worried about Swat, Balochistan is getting out of control," a senior provincial security official said.

Balochis have long been demanding a share in the revenue earned by the government from selling natural gas obtained from gas reserves situated in the province.

"We are the richest in terms of mineral resources, but also the poorest in terms of economic well-being," said Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani.

Political leaders are also of the view that Balochistan should be given its due share in the revenue.

"All the proceeds from the gas have to come to Balochistan," said alochistan National Party chief Abdul Malik Baloch

Malik said the government must withdraw armed forces from the region to establish faith among the local people.

"Military should be withdrawn from the province as part of a necessary reconciliation process that must begin to address ways of overcoming the anger in Balochistan," he said. (ANI)

The limping Gwadar port

By Syed Fazl-e-Haider

Source: DAWN, Pakistan

Monday, 10 Aug, 2009 | 09:33 AM PST | In view of the port operations, which have boosted the trucking activity, the Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) needs to build a truck stand in the port area. — File Provinces

Balochistan unrest spiralling out of control: report Balochistan unrest
What can be done to placate the Baloch? The arrival and anchorage of first commercial cargo ship Al-Fahdah carrying 650 tons of dates at the Gwadar deep-sea port on July 22 indicated that the port can handle big cargo vessels. Presently, three berths are functional but significant issues in making the port fully operational have yet to be addressed.

‘There are two key issues in port operations: one is land connectivity and other is land acquisition’, said Khurram Abbas, director PSA Gwadar, while talking to this scribe on phone. He said, ‘the land under possession of Pakistan Navy and coast guards has not yet been handed over to the Singapore Port Authority (PSA) for development of free zone and other port-related infrastructure.’

‘Without port connectivity through rail and road links, goods cannot be transported to Afghanistan, the Central Asian States and other regional countries’, he added.

Abbas said, ‘we need land for the development of a free zone for the port related facilities at East Bay of Gwadar. Without land acquisition, the PSA is unable to develop offices, residential facilities, port back up area in the proposed free zone and provide the traders, industrialists, businessmen, shipping companies, stevedoring firms, transporters with all possible facilities for doing business at Gwadar’.

The ball is in government’s court to make the port fully functional. Under the concession agreement signed with PSA in February 2007, the government was committed to hand over 923 hectares of land to the Singaporean firm by June 2008 on lease for the development of a free zone. The Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) is bound to acquire 350 hectares for ‘free zone area’ in addition to 584 acres in the possession of Pakistan Navy and 70 acres with the coast guards. .

Though 700 km long Makran Coastal Highway links Gwadar with Pasni, Ormara and Karachi, other regional linkages such as Gwadar-Ratodero motorway are yet to be completed. The motorway would link Gwadar with Indus Highway through districts of Turbat, Awaran and Khuzdar. Similarly, no progress has been made on the proposed rail link from Gwadar to Quetta and Zahidan.

Mekran coastal highway is the only link which is being used by a large number of trucks to transport urea and wheat from Gwadar to Karachi. In view of the port operations, which have boosted the trucking activity, the Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) needs to build a truck stand in the port area.

In the absence of truck stand, vehicles are parked on roads and traffic congestion has emerged as a problem in the port area. The long-term solution would come after completion of East Bay Expressway project, which will ensure a smooth flow of vehicles and link the port to the National Highway network.

In this year’s budget, the federal government has earmarked a mere Rs30 million for East Bay Expressway project that would cost Rs3.77 billion, according to one estimate. Gwadar-Ratodero Road project, which will connect Gwadar port with the upcountry, is also facing financial crunch for its timely completion.

Ports and Shipping Minister Babar Khan Ghauri recently told the Senate that the Navy’s occupation of the land was adversely affecting the functioning of the port and could force its closure.

The federal government plans to establish a tax-free zone in the new port city of Gwadar for which transfer of 584-acre land to the Singaporean operator is a prerequisite.

Analysts fear that the Singaporean firm may ultimately go to the Arbitration Court in London, holding the government of Pakistan accountable for defaulting on its contractual obligations. The ministry of defence has refused a free-of-cost transfer of the said land to the GPA for the proposed free zone.

Pakistan Navy had acquired 584 acres of land with seafront from Balochistan government in 1980. On refusal of the Navy to hand over the land, the previous government decided that Pakistan Navy would hand over only 30 acres to GPA for developing the road-rail-link leading to the free zone at Gwadar port.

The defence ministry has been of the view that GPA has long enough waterfront available for mercantile needs and development of free zone. It believes that 584 acres of land with Pakistan Navy is essentially required for defence of maritime interests and for the protection of the port itself.

Another issue in making the port functional has been the delay in fixing the port tariff announced after the arrival of first vessel at Gwadar port in March 2008, a year after the ceremonial opening of the port in March 2008. Ship agents and cargo consultants have been waiting for the announcement of port tariff to start doing the business. ‘We have already fixed tariffs and port charges, which are available on our website,’ says Abbas.

Only a competitive tariff could attract shipping lines to discharge cargoes at Gwadar instead of cruising to Dubai and Karachi and leaving for the next port for loading.

Critics say that the project has been the victim of lethargy and an unprofessional approach. They argue that the port was not ready to start cargo handling at the time of its inauguration in March 2007, as the handling equipment including gantry cranes, post-panamic rubber-tyre cranes and fork lifters were not installed. The installation of the handling equipment took almost eight months. The operationalisation of the port was also delayed to December 2008.

The port began cargo handling from March 15, 2008 and was declared officially functional last December. Ships carrying urea and wheat have so far berthed at the port which can a handle cargo ships up to 0.25 million tons.

China calls halt to Gwadar refinery

QUETTA, Pakistan - Cash-strapped Pakistan, which has had to accept more than US$11 billion from the International Monetary Fund, is threatened with the loss of a huge foreign investment after China said it had shelved its multi-billion dollar coastal oil refinery project at Gwadar, in southwest Balochistan province.

China has formally informed the Pakistani authorities that the refinery project has been deleted from the list of financial development plans agreed with Islamabad for the financial year ending next June as there has been no progress on the project, according to a Business Recorder report.

The decision, which follows suspension in January by the

United Arab Emirates state-run International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) of work on the $5 billion Khalifa Coastal Refinery (KCR) project at Hub, also in Balochistan, creates uncertainty about the future of the planned $12.5 billion mega oil city project in Gwadar, of which the refinery there was to be a key element.

It also casts doubt over plans for a corridor carrying energy pipelines and refinery products the length of Pakistan from Gwadar onto western China.

The global recession was a factor in forcing the Chinese and UAE governments to shelve their refinery projects, the Business Recorder report said, citing sources in Pakistan's Petroleum Ministry. Local analysts, however, believe that security concerns were also an important factor.

The province has battled with a low-level insurgency for the past five years. Most recently, a security forces' checkpoint was attacked on Wednesday in Quetta, Balochistan's capital, killing four people and injuring five others.

The United States is also turning its attention to the province, which borders Afghanistan to the north, as part of its battle against Taliban insurgents in the region.

Many Chinese nationals have been attacked, kidnapped and killed in the country since May 2004, when three Chinese engineers were killed in Gwadar.

While its nationals are under threat in Pakistan, China is also concerned about Islamist militants operating in China's western Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. It says some have been trained in Pakistan's unruly tribal areas to the north of Balochistan. Xinjiang, a Muslim-dominated region, was the scene of riots last month in which 197 people were killed. Beijing claimed Uyghur separatists were responsible for the violence.

Great United Petroleum Holdings Company Limited (GUPC) of China started work on the Gwadar petrochemical city project in December 2006. Under a memorandum of understanding signed between Pakistan and China that year, GUPC was committed to conduct a feasibility study and preparation work. The GUPC was also to build 1,000-2,000 service stations in the country.

China had expressed interest in building the refinery during a visit to China in February 2006 by Pakistan's then-president General Pervez Musharraf, who also offered a "trade corridor" that would carry imported Middle East oil and refined products from Gwadar to Kashghar, in western China.

China had planned to build a refinery and petrochemical complex with an initial 10 million tonnes per year (200,000 barrels per day) capacity, later expanding to 21 million tonnes. Pakistan has allocated 5,000 hectares of land for the proposed oil city.

Gwadar is close to the entrance to the Persian Gulf and the Middle East, China's biggest source of crude, and a pipeline to western China would greatly reduce the time and distance required to transport the fuel, while cutting out the congested seaways around Singapore.

The earlier halted UAE-built Khalifa refinery was originally planned for Gwadar, before being moved east to Hub district. In 2007, the UAE signed an implementation agreement with Islamabad to establish the $5 billion refinery, which Abu Dhabi's IPIC was to build with a target refining capacity of 200,000 to 300,000 barrels per day. So far the UAE government has not started work on the project, which was scheduled to be completed by 2012.

In March, Pakistan told the UAE government that if work did not start within 60 days, Islamabad would seek other investors or expand the capacity of the Pak-Arab Refinery (Parco), in central Pakistan, by 100,000 barrels of oil per day.

It was not possible for the UAE to immediately start work on the refinery, with a huge investment, due to the global economic meltdown over the past year, according to a report published in The News on March 30. In view of the expected delay in initiating the Khalifa project, the government would ask Parco, the country's largest refinery, to start increasing capacity, the report said, citing Asim Hussain, adviser to the prime minister on petroleum.

China is playing an increasing role throughout Pakistan's economy, from sales of consumer goods to developing natural resources, with several mining projects underway in Balochistan. It has been the biggest foreign investor and partner in the development of Gwadar port for commercial shipping as well as an energy hub.

The port was officially declared functional last December, yet the outlook there is also uncertain. The government is in dispute with the Pakistan navy, which is reluctant to vacate 582 hectares of land it is using at the port and which is wanted for development. Ports and Shipping Minister Babar Khan Ghauri said late last month that the port may be shut down if the navy did not vacate the land, the Daily Times reported.

Syed Fazl-e-Haider, [email protected], is a Quetta-based development analyst in Pakistan. He is the author of six books, including The Economic Development of Balochistan (2004).

The ridiculous comedy of India and Afghanistan involvement in Balochistan

Written By
Hafeez Hassan Abadi

Judicious man learns from his past mistakes and rectifies them, and a foolish man repeats them continuously. There is a famous saying among investigators around the world. "However shrewd a criminal may be, he, in the long run leaves a sign behind which eventually leads to his conviction. Pakistanis have never been matchless in their scheming in the past, but their scheming particularly regarding Baloch and Balochistan have always proven failure. Leave alone a comprehensive or viable scheme; they even don't know how to make plausible a lie.
Yes it is true that to bring about a particular condition the government machineries and covert forces, around the world, scheme fabrication of deception, but it is done in a way that people believe them. They seem to close to reality that one can not reject them.
But here in Pakistan, to defame Hindustan and Afghanistan along with Brahamdug Bugti, a private TV anchor person interviews a person who ostensibly confess a guilt of suicidal crime, in which he says he has been asked by Brahamdag Bugti himself 'in person' And that he has witnessed how Hindustan supporting Baloch nation and how impatient Hamid Karzai has become to destabilize Pakistan.

I have seen several dramas in my entire life but not such a drama, which's every bit defies the logic. And it raises several questions:

1. If the house has been demolished by a bomb, and according to so called suicide bomber, Gazzo, the bomb exploded outside of the wall, then the question rises how the bomb went outside? Was the explosive jacket kept outside of the veranda? But from the debris it seems that there was no sign of veranda at all, and it is an open ground!
2. If the bomb exploded outside then the walls should have collapsed inside the boundary. But it is fallen outside.
3. If the bomb was so powerful that all the three rooms collapsed simultaneously, then where is the crater on the ground?
4. If the ceiling gave in or collapsed because of impact, then where it was? If one could watch this film meticulously, one can judge from the debris nothing could be seen from within the walls, except some pieces of fallen walls. No material of ceiling is seen in the debris, but the suicide bomber says he was stuck by an iron bar; he could not make his flee. There would not be one iron bar of entire ceiling, but nothing of any iron bar can be seen in the debris.

5. The so called suicide bomber says no sooner did I lay on bed then the bomb went off. But from debris it's evident that it’s at least a 4 or 5 years old debris!! There is no sign of life around these wreckages, neither any appliances of kitchenware, nor any bed or any carpets and tables can be seen. Otherwise how an experienced anchorman could be ignorant of such thing? Particularly among the scattered things, noticeably the bed on which suicide bomber guy had laid?
6. The suicide bomber says he was laying on the bed when the second suicide bomber came in and started talking when the bomb went off, he says when he had regained conscious he saw sky through a tiny hole from the debris," now it means that the hard break and the wall had fallen on his body and face, but we failed to see any bruise on this guy who was claiming to be the suicide bomber and said that it was impossible for him to pull himself out of the remains!

7. In the same breath he says when I opened MY eyes I saw sky through debris and called for help, but there was no body to come rescue me, but later on Baloch people came and pulled me out of this trap. On the anchorman question that other bomber suffered injury? He snapped at him and said no he received minor bruises. But just two minutes ago he had said that there was no one to help him, when opened his eyes. Now on the answer of the second question, from where the second suicide bomber appeared? and how he saw the bruises on his forehead, pointing towards the minor bruises by brushing his hand on his forehead?

8. There must be an owner of the house where this saga of suicide bombing took place? The person who brings the suicide bomber from Kashmore would also get into the trap of investigation but there is no sign of the house owner in the scene who gave shelter to the culprits. If there was no owner of the house then how and when it has become deserted? It is a Balochi home there must be a soul in the neighborhood that have seen these strange people! How is it possible in a village where three strangers come and lodge in abandon house, one of the suicide bombers goes into a room and lay there and the second bomber roams here and there and chat with his friend and the third goes out to bring a mechanic to fix their car, parked outside of the house, there must be one soul around the neighborhood who noticed the strangers presence and their strange movements, because while filming the rubbles, the camera for 5 second also catches some glimpses of some houses in the neighborhood from a distance no more then 50 meters.

9. Both the anchor man and the young guy Gazzo say that when the house collapsedan iron bar pierced his foot, they showed the injury but it seemed an outer wound which could easily be done to any part of body by a make up expert, but there was no sign of an inner wound!!

10. No body knows the name of the village where? And what was the date when the incident occurred.
11. Jewan Bugti, (the alleged accomplice of suicide bomber) in the mid of the night, on May 15th 2009 had been abducted by security agencies with the help of Aali Bugti men. According to family members of Jewan Bugti, during his arrest, all members of the family had been beaten up by securities forces, now the question arises here, the so called suicide bomber Gazzo had been packed up on May 4th 2009 by security forces, while his on account of the drama speaks otherwise, he says he reached Kabul via Qandahar. Then while all this time where was Jewan Bugti from May 15 until then? During all this while under who's arrest he was? According to his family members he had been packed by Mir Aali Bugti men with the security agencies. Then how he made his escape from securities arrest? On the other hand, his wretched family says he is still missing, if a man is not arrested, and then he must be with his beloved family, particularly a responsible school teacher who is the sole bread earner of his family!!
12. The alleged suicide bomber says he never met Ahmed Karzai, but he talks in such a way as if he had been with him, saying he was supporting Baloch and giving money to them!
13. Gazzo raises three fingers to answer a question and says he had met Barhamdag Bugti five times. Even if the young man is illiterate, but he still can differentiate between 3 and 5.
14. When interviewed by the TV man, the young man says there are more then two hundreds and half men with Barahamdag Bugti in Qabul. Now first of all who told him these figures, then why should we believe his information? The second, Brahamdag Bugti fighting a war with an organized army, and he has become a big challenge to it. Do you think he is so brainless that he let know every thing to a young guy? He receives money in front of this guy and distributes them among his men? Or his close friends so stupid that they disclose all their information, facts and figures to a new young guy?

15. Had there been any suicidal bombardment in Dera Bugti Balochistan, then why it did not make any news in the local media? If the same agency men could bring a man from Lahore for recording the incident, why they could not get any news agency or TV channel or a news paper to report the incident in entire Balochistan? After the interview no matter whatever the private channel or news papers could do they wish to!! But what was the harm in making the report public?

16. Right at the centre of the collapsed wall there is a new grown tree, despite the collapse of the hard wall; the tree is still alive and standing still! As the picture is not clear and it is just a glimpse, but still by observing meticulously, one could see the grown tree in a pit of the wall. If its so then it is a proven fact the debris of this ruin walls are five years old or so! Just by watching the program, one could judge by mistakes made in the program, that it is a work of an obtuse director, of which every scene bear the witness that it's a fabricated program. To corroborate our assertions, one needs to listen to impartial observers and the members of the innocent accused ones, who have been interviewed by Radio Gwank of Balochistan Sikander Aaskani.

According to Khair Mohmad, father of alleged suicide bomber Gazzo, before the abduction of his son, he had been approached by government salaried Sardaar Aali Bugti under the protection of agencies, for participation as the head of his clan to celebrate the ceremony of Dastaar Bandi and for war encampment against Brahamdag Bugti. But he refused to do so. Once again on May 4th the Aali pack came with security forces to Khair's house, but he was not there, they abducted his son Gazzo. To rescue his son he went to Aali Bugti taking a Balochi Madh, (a traditional envoy which is consistent of women, respected for defusing and solving feuds among people and clans in Baloch social organization). But Aali refused to respect the Balochi Madh, and disgraced the women and turned them back. Khair Bugti says regrettably Aali have joined the ranks of his Grand Dad enemy and engaged in such nonsense dramas. He is committing atrocities against his own brothers, he has abducted one of his sons but if I had hundreds sons, I would scarify all of them for the freedom struggle of our homeland, for which, figures like reverend Nawab Bugti and Balach Marri had sacrificed their lives. It would be an honor for me and for my son to scarify our lives if we had to. So for as my son's confession of guilt is concerned, I would conditionally put it like this: give me a Pakistani military man for four days, be it an army General, or a colonel, you would see, his testimony goes against Pakistan. The forced confession, is a false, has been extracted out of my son under duress at gun point. He appealed Baloch nation to unite behind Barhamdag Bugti to foil the ridiculous dramas of our enemy. The accounts of Pahlwan Bugti, the brother of Jewan, the alleged accomplice are horrifying, according to him, his crime is that he showed respect for Brahamdag Bugti. Our home was surrounded by military forces when Azli Bugti men broke into it and took Jewan with them, other members of the family tried not to let Jewan be taken away, but got beaten up by forces. Pahlwan told radio Gwank that "I do not know any thing about Gazzo, but I know that he has been forced to take part in the fabricated drama of suicide bomber to defame Brahamdag Bugti. Here every Body knows that people like Gazzo and Jewan are routinely being abducted by military and Aali Bugti men, but nobody listen to us. Police, military and agencies are supporting them.

He revealed that there is no such a place in entire Dera Bugti where this ridiculous drama was filmed by Express News TV Lucman. He asked the media to visit the area themselves if there exist such a place in Dera Bugti!! He said the old ruins could be a place somewhere in Sindh or Swat in Frontier.

Bahram Bugti, a local teacher and a friend of The alleged accomplice of Gazzo, Jewan, has also a horrifying account of the drama why it was filmed, in his interview to Radio Gwank Sikander Askani, he said whatever have been done to Jewan and khair mohmod bugti's son Gazo, by the hand of agencies, have surpassed every limit of inhuman treatment. According to him Jewan and Gazzo have without any reason been incriminated at the behest of Aali Bugti.
Bahraam Bugti told Radio Gwank of Balochistan that he knows only the fact that Gazzo had been abducted by Aali Bugti, with the help of Pakistani government agencies, I went to meet Khair Mohamad on the sad new of his son abduction, and offered my sympathy with family. He said that all this filthy game is being conducted just to defame Barahamdag Bugti to appease SARKAR.

About the alleged confession extracted by agencies, a senior Baloch journalist Shehzada Zufikar told Radio Gwank that this interview is full of mistakes, raising several questions which need to be looked upon from every angle.

First, Express News channel have eight correspondents in Balochistan along with its bureau chief, But instead, the agencies have summoned a team from Lahore to direct this drama and the exclusive interview of Gazzo. Why this alleged suicide bombardment accident has been kept secret to media at first instance? Why they have ignored the entire Balochistan Media? Zulfikar told Radio Gwank that several journalists in Balochistan have been kicked out of their job just because they refused to make fake news and report them as per the wishes of the government.

Second, that there are many instances of suicidal bombing accidents in Swat, Lahore and Islamabad, first they have been reported in media and then interviews were conducted, but here In Balochistan things are different, fake interviews are a ready made to be aired, before any suicidal accident occurred.

Third, the anchor man conducting the interview was more interested in getting a fake confession out of him, rather then finding a fact. All emphasizes in his questions and goading were in the intention of how to tarnish Brahamdag Bugti luminous name, how to show that Hindustan is involved in Balochistan unrest, and how to show that Afghanistan is committing the crime of supporting the Baloch.

Now it is explicit that the main purpose of staging this drama was to extract a particular confession out of interviewee.

Fourth, this common suicide bomber man Gazzo went to Afghanistan and directly met Brahamdag Bugti. In his talk he seemed he was involved in every talk about relationship between Hamed Karzai and Brahamdag Bugti. India's high officials came and met brahamdag bugti where this young also present. In front of him a brief case full of money is handed over to Brahamdag Bugti by Indian representative. Right at the spot he, Brahamdag Bugti, distributes all the money among his commanders. Such are the scenes of this drama which have nothing to do with reality.

The senior journalist said for the past three months Pakistani government is talking about the Indian involvement in Balochistan, now it need to bring forwards some evidences to prove that, for that reason they have staged this drama, full of mistakes. In fact Pakistan is in the search of a way how to defame Brahamadag Bugti and to degrade him from the status of hero of freedom struggle to a terrorist so that it show the world that he was not a leader of freedom struggle but a Taliban like terrorist.

But I'm confirmed that this drama is utterly a flapped one, and people in Balochistan, from a common man to a educated man and intellectuals, have all rejected this interview and regarded the these evidences as a fake ones.

Before going to end this subject, let us remember Jewan Bugt's single sentence, which is all powerful to render this governmental drama a fake. On the anchorperson question, how you become a part of this story?, he said he had been asked by Wadera Khuda Buksh to take that boy to Kashmore, at this point, the anchorperson snapped at Jewan and asks him way you had abducted him by the order of Wadera?, then Jewan answers " had I not headed to Wadera, he would have handed me to ISI and MI….. Many other people have also gone through this heinous crime by the hand of this man with the help of ISI and IM". Here the anchorman became infuriated at Jewan and averted to talks to control the damage done by Jewan's real remarks. Heavier then any explanation, Jewan's single sentence contains the answers of all questions, "if I had not listen to Wadera, he would have handed me over to ISI and IM".

Now the question is that why those people who have been abducted by ISI and IM, should be concern about Brahamdag Bugti? If they wanted to do something, they could have done it for salaried Nawab Aali Bugti of the Islamabad, who is supporting Islamabad in Balochistan.

from the interviews of Radio Gwank of Balolchistan by Samander Askani, what we figured out from Jewan Bugti, Khair Mohamad(Gazzo's father),Pehlwan(Gazzo's brfther),Bahram Bugti(Jewan's friend), journalist Shehzada Zulfikar, it is firmly established that it was a shameful attempt on the part of Pakistani state not only to malign Barahamdag Bugti fame, but also to show to the world that India and Afghanistan are involved in Balochistan affairs.

Conclusion: it is beyond of our understanding what kind of people are those who make schemes in Islamabad, once a man makes a mistake, then when he realizes that he was mistaken, he tries to rectify himself ,yet since 1973 the same mistakes are repeated here with negative results and foolish adamancy prevailing.

In order to defame late Nawab Akber Bugti, the same fake Jirgas and foolish dramas were staged, people were brought in front of TV channels who elaborated fake story of oppression, Jirgas of salaried government dignitaries were held who stripped Shaheed Bugti of NawabiShip. But what resulted out of this? People regarded these people with the words of traitors, and those who staged sarkari Jirga were called marionettes. On the contrary Nawab Akber Bugti magnificently earned the glorious fame.
Similarly Nawab Khair Baksh Marri was opposed with same antics, conferences were held, private jails were staged and commanders were showed surrendering their weapons, but end result? Public started abhorring these people who collaborated with government.

The famous Baloch intellectual Mir Sourat Khan Marri had once deplored the tragedy of Mir Hazar khan Bejarani's second grade character in the government staged dramas, in his words, "given the 1976 experiences, on the other side, in Therdi, Mir Hazar Rahmkani's ancestral Marri area, where shameless Marri surrendering ceremony drama was staged, he should not have participated in it, Where all faces were familiar. He, Mir Hazar, had earned a name by the virtue of Mir Sher Mohamd Marri, has degraded himself to a secondary position voluntarily, a step lower from current DCO. From initial reports where Ali Hassan loharani and Gazi khan were known, if last year files reports of Bajarani Council delegation, crops commander and governor statements are checked, his name would appear in the gazetteer, and it would be a part of it."

In short, Islamabad and Tehran have failed to understand the Baloch national question, or may be they are purposely ignoring it. Today, like in the past, the same dishonest apathy, triviality, and wastage of time is maintained. Had they not resorted to such meaningless and useless actions and, used their energy positively, there might have emerged a viable solution for both sides with fewer damages. Now they should bear in their minds that people cannot be impressed with such ridiculous dramas. Yes if amusement is what they care for, then nothing is comparable to self-deception albeit.

Balochistan under eight years of Gen Musharraf’s dispensation has been through a lot: Baloch leaders have been killed, chased, picked up and held by security agencies without due process; many have been forced to go into hiding or seek asylum abroad for fear of incarceration.

(Azad) Zonal President of Shall Zone, Shahzeb Baloch, who was kidnapped on 25th of March 2009, addressed a group of reporters after being recently released from illegal custody of the Pakistan Secret Agencies, regarding the conditions he faced in detention. He said that on the first day of illegal detention he was taken to a Senior Interrogation Officer who warned him that there a More..re already more than 500 Balochs in the torture cell.

In the torture cell he had a chance to see the conditions being faced by Chaker Qambarani, Fareed Baloch, Nazeer Marri Baloch and Karam Khan Marri Baloch who were facing inhuman tortures, Fareed Baloch, 25 and a student of Masters in Computer Sciences had lost his sanity due to the torture, Nazeer and Karam Khan Marri Baloch who are residents of Mangho Peer, Karachi, Karam Khan has been disabled due to the severe torture he faced and his reproductive organs had been effected as well.
Pashtuns there as they themselves are an oppressed Nation but still they are working as mercenaries for the Punjabi Army.
He said that the torture cells in Cuba would feel embarrassed in front of the Pakistani Tortures cells who have reached the heights of inhumanity and barbarism. During the interrogation.

Reconciliation with Pakistan is not possible, need to get rid of it: Nawab Marri

If India was helping Baloch then Pakistani helicopters and fighter jets would not have been be flying over Balochistan, Zardari has no power, he is a dummy. BNF and BNM are Baloch patriot parties” Baloch patriot leader Nawab Khair Baksh Marri expressed these view while talking to a private TV channel.

He said that before and after Pakistan’s existence Balochistan was an Independent country, "we have nothing to do with Pakistan. Our language, culture, history, geography and everything else is different from Pakistan".

FC besieges 2 newspapers’ offices in Quetta

QUETTA: After forcing an anti-government newspaper in Quetta to close down earlier this week, the Frontier Corps (FC) on Friday besieged the offices of two more newspapers.

The office of the FC claimed they wanted to “interrogate the newspapers’ staff for security reasons”. The offices of English newspaper Daily Balochistan Express and Urdu paper Daily Azadi, both published by Siddique Baloch, were placed under surveillance for several hours on Friday morning.

“FC personnel were deployed outside the offices for several hours. They detained three of our staffers as they were on their way to work,” Asif Baloch, the editor of Daily Azadi, told Daily Times.

He said the deployment of FC personnel clearly indicated that officials planned to harass journalists working for the two newspapers. “Our staff members were held by the FC for several hours and interrogated unnecessarily. We believe the forces that forced Asaap newspaper to shut down have now been told to shut us down,” Asif Baloch said.

Baloch National Struggle has cracked the government: Brahumdagh Bugti

Pasni: The leader of Baloch Republican Party Nawabzada Brahumdagh Bugti has said that Baloch Liberation movement has shaken the state [Pakistan] and now it [state] is looking for a safe passage. To weaken the Baloch movement politically the opposition has joined the ranks of enemy but their acts cannot harm the struggle for National liberation because the current war [struggle] is not the struggle of any one tribe but it Baloch Joint struggle which is only for Independence. He said this while in a telephonic address at a gathering about the upcoming death anniversary of Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti.

He said that Baloch are being treated like slaves from last 62 years. “We are forced to live life of a slave in our own homeland” he said. Talking about the current government atrocities he said that the current regime has broken all records of past governments’ atrocities and brutalities. He said the FC (frontier constabulary) has been given a free hand and there is state hooliganism everywhere in Balochistan. “The enemy has crossed all the boundaries by committing immoral and inhumane acts of abducting, killing and burning the dead bodies of Baloch activists” said Mr Bugti. He alleged that bodies of innocent children have been burnt and thousands of acres standing crops have also been deliberately set on fire.

He said thousands of innocent people have been martyred during army operation but despite such atrocities the Baloch freedom fighters have defeated the enemy force on battle ground. The Baloch Liberation struggle has shaken the roots of enemy and they (enemy) were now looking for a safe passage to get out.

He said to weaken the Baloch struggle on political grounds the opposition have joined the ranks of enemy but “we want tell them that they cannot harm Baloch cause by such acts because the current struggle is a joint struggle of Baloch people, this struggle is not being fought for the benefit of one tribe”. He said the martyrdom of Shaheed Nawab Bugti, Shaheed Balach Marri, Shaheed Ghulam Mohammed Baloch, Shaheed Lala Munir Baloch, Shaheed Sher Mohammad Baloch and thousands of other have intensified the Baloch movement and that is why the Baloch youth are joining the Baloch National Movement day by day. “Resistance is necessary against state atrocities” he said. Baloch genocide has been continued since the murder of Shaheed Nawab Bugti, the arrest and abduction of thousands of Baloch is still continuing, he added.

He said Baloch have full right on Baluchistan’s resources and Baloch are the owner of Baluchistan coast [coastal belt]. He said Pakistan navy has occupied thousands of acres of land in Ormara which is the ancestral land of [Baloch residents of Ormara] Baloch people. The navy is planning to expel the local land owners from there which will not be tolerated. He said from Dera Bugti to Gwadar all Baloch are tied with same string (related to each other). “We need to make the fishermen aware about National struggle”, he said.

Central secratery Dr Bashir Azeem, BRSO Chairman Gulzar Dost Baloch, Waheed Baloch and others in their speeches while strongly condemning the enemy’s brutal policies said that Baloch Nation should unite and intensify the Baloch liberation struggle.
