British Gold favourite in Cycling Mark Cavendish lost
Is this how petty you're going to be? Publishing every Brit loss?

Frankly, I won't lower myself to your pathetic level and just go by the tally at the end and frankly if France does beat Britain, well done to them.

London 2012: Calais makes Olympics training a French département

It might have lost out to London for the honour of hosting the 2012 Olympics, but a corner of France has been quietly cashing in on the Games ever since.

Hundreds of teams – ranging from Australian BMXers and Uzbek kayakers to Chinese gymnasts and Indian hockey champions – have been training across the channel. A swath of coast from Berck in the Pas-de-Calais to Dunkerque and into Belgium has more than 70 sites attracting athletes to train in British-style weather, but in cheaper, quieter conditions and state-of-the-art arenas, often replicas of the Games sites.

Northern France's transformation into a training base for London 2012 is historic – the first time that a neighbouring, non-host country has become a pre-Games training bastion. Teams that have flocked to France, from Haitian sprinters to US wrestlers, want to be as close as possible to the UK and, as local politicians argue, with Eurostar the Calais coast is "a faster journey to the Olympic Village than from some northern suburbs of London".

Even some British teams have decamped to France for time out of the media spotlight in the weeks before the Games, including the male gymnastics and badminton teams.

Pretty much: Paris Seeks to Erase Sore-Loser Image With Olympic Gold Offer - Bloomberg
Parisians pouted and screamed "foul" when the French capital lost the bid to host the 2012 Summer Olympics to London, making them look like sore losers. Now, a tourism body is trying to make amends.

The Paris Ile-de-France tourist board yesterday unveiled a plan, called "Celebrate Your Victories in Style" to award an all-expenses-paid trip to Paris for two days to two British people for every gold medal a U.K. athlete wins at the Summer Olympic Games next month.

Four and a half thousand police and security personnel are being deployed in France to deal with the influx of travellers heading to London for the Olympic Games, the French Interior Ministry announced on Tuesday.

60 delegations and about 450,000 visitors will be travelling through northern France on the way to the Games, according to the ministry.

Chinese are Charlies who depend on women to save their men! :pound:

Total effeminate Tongzhis!
Ray, you work pretty hard on Chinese politics. but you still need to spend some time on Chinese culture.
Unlike Indian men, Chinese men are smart , mostly focus on easy jobs , such as debate, being politicans or businessmen.
Chinese women have to go to heavy and dirty jobs.let Women becoming politican is a stupid thing in China.
looks, CHinese women are finding good jobs in Olympic. and Chinese men are drinking and enjoying their performance before TV.

China's Wang Mingjuan extended a 10-year unbeaten international record to win gold in the first women's weightlifting event of the London Games, giving the Chinese team a perfect start in their defence of four Olympic titles won in Beijing

Chinese also have some stupid guys, such as men 10 meter air pistol, worked very hard, just able to pass the Qualification but fail to get a medal
