Call it smart on the jawans part to screw the chini of their money.
my indian friend.....just dont know why on earth the smart move u described wasnt appreciated by 'Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology'

The Committee expressed unhappiness to learn from the jawans that they have to borrow the handsets from the jawans posted in the borders on the other side to remain in touch with their family members.

so looks to me the committee members have to be a bunch of dumb asses and they just dont fancy some smart move made by indian jawans.........

It is a good idea to use Chinese phones and saving money.

And that is a nice thing.

Saving money? I doubt it.

Borrowing once, maybe ok. Twice? I believe that Chinese solider would ask some thing in return.

Considering this call is making india soldier keeping in touch with his family. Chinese solider definitely asked something higher than just call fee.
