Now that RamanSingh is no longer the CM, naxal killings will magically disappear in CG as their own party is in power now.

In any approach to insurgency, there is an element of good cop - bad cop being played. Surely, the hard power element of the state would not allow a co-opted leader to weaken the fight against Naxals. This guy has probably been vetted and following a script.

In the N.E insurgency where Doval operated, it was the civil society activist who were the primary source of intel for the security agencies. Looking back at our childhood, when the father beats a kid, the kid goes and cries in the mother's lap, so the mother knows everything the child is going through. She has the ability to mold his behavior. "Beta, agli baar mat karna". So a boundary is created that beyond a certain threshold (i.e civilians picking guns), they will get a hard response and knocked back into civil society. IF they raise their issues with the "mom" (aka milard, NGO, media, political parties etc) then space shall be granted to them. Just the presence of this soft option prevents a lot of at-risk population from falling into the hands of insurgent narrative.

Sun Tzu says that a cornered rodent fights like a tiger. We're trying not to corner anyone. If there are 5 terrorists trying to recruit a group of 100 civilians, the primary factor that will weigh in on their decision to join will be "is this avoidable?". As long as the population feels that there is a way out, they don't get in the 'kill or be killed' mode. From time to time, this will mean that police and/or army official will be punished in public trials and the media will do halla. It's a part of the narrative building to make people believe that their issues are being resolved when they raise their issues through civil society.

Left wing students attacked JNU Vice chancellor's house this evening. VC's wife is hospitalized and is said to be critical.
Members of ABVP got attacked too. SFI,AISF members barged into hostel rooms's of ABVP member and trashed them mercilessly. Its time to get rid of our education system of these Left-psuedo liberals.
If left has future in India then India won't have any future left.

Bastar region. 11 other MLAs are from the Congress. The preliminary report suggests that an ambush was set up by the Naxals to target the convoy.

Only 12 companies of CRPF in Dantewada. Deliberate sabotage by CM Baghel. Chattisgarh evangelicals convert tribals and now see what happens!

During Assembly Elections 70 companies were deployed.

Only 1 armoured Scorpio was there with MLA + 4 soldiers. Precision IED used. Internal mole.

Most probably due to lack of night vision devices among crpf and state paramilitary forces.
