Finally some success against Maoists in Chattisgarh

Still cause of worry. They r more than 100 in numbers. We neutralised only 10 Maoists. Rest fled to forests

Talks, not bullets, can solve Maoist problem: Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel

    HIGHLIGHTS
    • Bhupesh Baghel says that his government is not interested in "figures of encounters and body count of Naxals"
    • The CM said it would be a mistake to assume that deployment of more forces, intensifying encounters and counting of bodies are indications of successfully countering the rebel problem
    RAIPUR:

Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel says that his government is not interested in "figures of encounters and body count of Naxals" but is rather keen on initiating a dialogue with all stakeholders, including the affected tribal population, to find a solution to the
He believes Naxalism is a socio-economic and political issue. "I feel there is a need to initiate a dialogue with the affected people, mainly of Bastar, and all other stakeholders on how to bring an end to violence and fear in the region. Every section of society, tribals, intellectuals, local businessmen, rights activists and even the forces deployed in the region are affected, one way or another," Baghel said, adding that it is important to know their point of view as they are "direct sufferers and feel trapped in the situation".

"Bastar's original nature is to live independently and its people prefer to live in the lap of nature, without any hassles. But the situation has completely changed now and suspicion and fear has crept into the minds of locals," Baghel said, adding the government's focus would be find solutions to basic needs and begin work at the ground level to restore people's confidence. Asked about cases of corruption, raised by Congress, Baghel said the law will take its course.

The Urban Naxal ..These are all communist ideology people who are infiltrated into all govt organisation just to work as sleeper cells .Now imagine a naxal in CBSE can just leak Question paper few days before Examination and create ruckus across the country ..Which is why dismantling the ecosystem is more important before going full on against the naxals in jungles

Because the heart of naxal movement in southern india is Andhra pradesh/orissa border . We even had naxal issues in Tamil nadu, andhra, karnataka borders ..So most of the naxal surnames are Rao...

There r reports some armed Maoists r camping in ooty district of Tamilnadu. We hav a long way to go against our fight against Maoists. Need to eliminate their intellectual supporters hiding in our institutions/ ngos/journalists.

Looks like after some of the recent encounters Naxals have suffer major loss and casualties. So they have gone underground to regroup themselves and collect some courage for further activities

    Brief Desc of RSN talks:
    1. Congress winning Chattisgarh may rejuvenate Naxalite financing. He is clearly unhappy about it.
    2. Good progress in saving Northeast by Modi and security forces
    3. Clearly names Maoist, Church and Jihadi union behind breaking India forces and even Sabarimala episode.

@Haldiram @sorcerer apki vishes tipni please.

So he prefers that people live in the jungle without electricity, education, medicine, job or working toilets? Good luck to CG folks
Basically he is unhappy that Naxals are dying. This would increase good governance in the region & stop countless others like him from running their own rackets in every field from drugs to mining.
