Navy Day Martyrs: India pays homage

Indian Navy Chief, Admiral Devendra Kumar Joshi, Army Chief General Bikram Singh and Air Chief Marshal, Norman Anil Kumar Charlie Browne, the three service chiefs today paid homage to martyrs, at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate, in New Delhi on the occasion of NavyDay. The chiefs laid wreath atthe war memorial. Speaking tomedia persons, Indian Navy Chief, Admiral Devendra Kumar Joshi said that they stand committed to safeguardthe sovereign interests of the country. Every year, the Indian Navy celebrates December 04 as Navy Day to commemorate the Navy's daring attack on Karachi Harbour during the 1971 Indo-Pak War.
