MY "Ancestral home" under upgrade now

well, nowdays I am helping my parents upgrade my "Ancestral home"

my "Ancestral home" is where my grandparents lived and my father lived there until 1971,where he left for college study.

My "Ancestral home" is in a small village ,where only the old and kids live now.
the village is away from cities,but is connected to outside world with a small paved road.

my "Ancestral home" is like this.... it is the heritage my grandparents left for my father.
my father grew here and lived here until he was 21 years old.
after my grandparent died( my grandmother died in 1994), nobody has lived here...

and Now, my father decided to upgrade the old house,although we will hardly have chance to live in the new house.

the new house will be a 3-floored house like this

in fact, many of neighbours in the village has already upgrade their houses...such like this

the total budget for the upgrade plan of "Ancestral home" is about 200-250K RMB(about 30-40K USD). the money will be burdened by My parents, my elder brother and I together.

in fact,my parents,my eld borthers and I all live in cities and can hardly returned to the village and live in the " "Ancestral home" .

So ,even if the " "Ancestral home" is upgraded, it will seem little useful to my families.


That is why my eld brother and I didn't agree to the upgrade plan at first.....

however, my parents finally persuade my eld brother and me....
He tells us that the existence of " "Ancestral home" is not only for "live",but a monument to the ancestor....

wherever my brother and I live, our acestors will bless us as long as the "ancestral home" is there.

Morever, the village is less 10 KM away from the countytown.....with the expansion of urbanization, the land apprecition of "ancestral home" is also remarkable......

We hire such one "smak digger" ,for house building....

the cost is 160RMB(25USD)/hour

we hired some construction workers too..the daily wage for one worker is 160RMB(25USD) .
