but for our own LCA MK 2, which should operationalise(hope by 2012/13), gripen would have been an ideal aircraft for the IAF.

f-16, i consider, is the dark horse in mmrca contest.

Personally I don't think we should get the Gripen because it's really similar to the LCA and it's only one engine. Also we might not get full tot on it so I don't think it has the best chance compared to the other competitiors. It still is a sexy fighter plane though.

nice vids.........BTW F22 is not cleared for export by US congress.. moreover its damn expensive.. we can get 3 Su 30MKIfor the cost of one F22..
