Judge blocks occupancy permit for Murfreesboro mosque, doesn't order halt to construction
A Murfreesboro judge has blocked local officials from issuing an occupancy certificate for a new mosque.

The move comes about two weeks after Rutherford County Chancellor Robert Corlew ruled that construction approval for the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro was void. Corlew agreed with mosque opponents that there was not sufficient public notice of the meeting where construction had been approved two years earlier.

Despite that ruling, county officials have not taken steps to stop mosque construction.

If the construction is void, it is void.

Corrective action would be legal!

WND is'nt really a credible site and don't expect Pamela Gellar of all people to talk even slightly honestly about Muslims. Its like expecting Goebbels to talk unbiasedly about Jews.

As Ewalds' link and this link (Planning Commission votes to appeal mosque ruling » Knoxville News Sentinel) shows, the mosque has already existed in that location for decades with no opposition from the local community whatsoever.
Because of the old building and space constraints, the committee had a request pending with the county officials to rebuild the structure to accommodate more worshippers which went through for a couple of months of notice before the permit for the mosque was given to them from the county officials.
Much later Gellar and her horde who has been going on an anti-First amendment spree all across the US against Muslims started a non-controversy in the area with charges relating from Islam is a cult religion where Muslims pray a monkey God to organizers are HAMAS members and want secretly bring in Shariah law, all of which where thrown out of court.

The judge's ruling finally centered around how much notice has been given before the mosque's construction. The county officials are saying that they gave the same amount of time as they give for any new construction and have voted to appeal the case. In this particular case, the ruling DOES NOT apply until a 30-day time period to appeal the ruling. The ruling does not apply until the appeals process is not completed. Still, as far as local reports go, the construction has been stopped even though they don't have to. Murfreesboro mosque construction stops after judge's ruling | The Tennessean | tennessean.com

So the headline that Muslim leaders are defying law is totally erroneous, but what else could you expect from Pamela Gellar.

In the States, because of 11-09-2001. Besides building mosques, the fact of Muslim Brotherhood being welcomed in the White House is resented by many Americans.

And there was a plan to build a big mosque just near ground zero making a big controversy, can you tell what happened?

Don't these people have any sense that locals would really resent it since all the attackers were muslims or their aim is to follow the old mogul tradition of destroying something and making mosques on it?

This time they are making use/abuse of freedom US provides.
