Mahindra & Mahindra, India's biggest sport-utility vehicle manufacturer, is interested in buying at least parts of bankrupt Swedish carmaker Saab Automobile, two people familiar with the situation said.
Mahindra, based in Mumbai, is in the process of trying to set up meetings with the two court-appointed administrators who are overseeing Saab's bankruptcy to possibly buy parts of the carmaker or the whole company, said the people, who declined to be identified because the plans are private. Mahindra has yet to hold discussions with the administrators, the people said.

China already lost $141 million investing in bankrupt Saab, don't let it take you down too.

Negative. JLR was on a perennial loss until Tata took them over. Now in less than 2 years they are back to their profit making ways.

Also an entry in this, maybe will give access to military techs of Saab..

If only we had great politicans our business men will eat china over, our politicans are still in the what if the european colonists colonise us again mode, some sort of mental scar i guess, if these idiots step away and leave their socialist tax regimes and stupid centralization red tapes we will run the business world.

However Mahindra already bought a loss makeing Korean car company called Ssangyong and i dont see how they can afford to buy another one?

Same logo thats about it , nothing more . Now they are two different companies .

Nothing to do with each other .
