It would be interesting to note that Sri Lankan Tamils are categorized into three subgroups based on regional distribution, dialects, and culture: Negombo Tamils from the western part of the island, Eastern Tamils from the eastern part, and Jaffna or Northern Tamils from the north and they considered themselves as distinct entity.

To be frank, it really does not matter.

It would be adequate if Pakistan can handle itself first and then think about Sri Lanka.

And as far as China is concerned, it is already rather preoccupied with what it feels is that the US is containing her. Now, if that is true, then it will have its own problems to handle before it is concerned with others. China has never shown any inclination of holding the interest of others before ensuring that her interests are met. Ask Pakistan,

The 13th amendment was forced upon you because there was no other way way Sinhalese would allow autonomy to the Tamil to conduct, and yet Lanka never allowed the Tamil province to formed because it never held the referendum that would make the administrative unit permanent. Lanka allowed the charade of so called autonomy so long as Indian was prepared to lean on Colombo and the moment Indian decided to adopt the hand off policy the charade was over.

Since It was india's pressure that forced Lanka to concede to Autonomy and in the wake of the genocide India has to ensure that Lanka concedes maximum autonomy to all united North-East Tamil province and failing which help achieve and independent state.

Well Tamil ppl live in Colombo have Dignity and Justice as same as any Sinhalese have. But ppl in north don't have it,... cuz LTTE denied it to them for 30 yrs

I completely agree, but some of our brethren haven't come around to acknowledging it yet. Which is why India should focus on securing the Tamils interest. We should give up on the idea that Sinhalese will ever warm up to India.
