Only when their own country is communist, when its not and if the country has a communist enemy, then things get murky.

Just some example, almost all the support that China got within India during the Sino-Indian war came from the communists. Almost all the Americans involved in transferring US nuclear technology to Soviet Union in the early 50s were also communists.

Correlation is not causation.

Besides, let us not forget the USSR fought a border war with PRC.

This has got nothing to do with ideology. In India's parlance, USSR was the greatest friend and PRC was and is the greatest threat.

So, it is naïve to generalise 'communists' in one group. For me, PRC is de jure communist, de facto capitalist.

Stalinism is not communism , its a part misinterpreted , a war ravaged country which lost 2/3 of its males and entire nation in disarray needed a guy like stalin to return back order , its not what communism stands for .

i have lived in the ussr and present day capitalist russia and i can see the difference in both is shocking , for petty gains the larger aspect is lost .

Any idea that believes that change happens if others first change is silly and dull one. It is form of molding others to suit you, that becomes a form of oppression. The problem with the world is not economic or social evils but psychological evils that create all this in the first place. There is no point trying to make the world in your favorite image and you remain intolerant, anxious, fearful, divisive etc.,in the mean while. Any change hast to come from with in all outside changes have been tried out.

Moulding is basic human nature , dont the big MNC mould your thoughts with their advertisements and campaigns , make you buy their product , what about fair and lovely dont they show you that glowing skin and fairness add to sell their products.


Since ancient times humans have moulded the environment , and the world to suit their needs , it basic need of existence , its not oppression . the idea of change is this , change your circle first then change yourself and its right way to approach things. while the present day idea of change yourself daily like you change facebook status is the root of losing human values and intolerance.
