Ok now I also have installed Ad Block Plus.

There are other extreme measures like using applications that simulate a cell phone on your local desktop, that way you can install light weight mobile internet browser apps on your computer and these typically run very fast because they are meant to run fast. I don't use these simulators now. The inbuilt browsers in most Linux systems are very lightweight.
