How are the pro-democracy forces doing in China? Did Chinese break manhood of pro-democracy forces in China? In case pro-democracy forces need to change Chinese leadership, they should do marketing of their idea of democracy in the west. Seeing the hatred in US and EU for Chinese communists, west i.e. EU, U.S. will be the first to support Democracy movement in China in a big planned way this time.

I hope pro-democracy forces and pro freedom forces in China and Hong Kong will rise at the right time.

how do you know that it's gonna not be the official line of Bhutan?

to avoid being annexed by India like Sikkim and preserve its sovereignty, Bhutan might take this opportunity to normalize bilateral relation with China.
Here you go Sikkim was NOT annexed by India, go read the documents/reports again. Here is a brief

1975: The Prime Minister of Sikkim appealed to the Indian Parliament for Sikkim to become a state of India. In April of that year, the Indian Army took over the city of Gangtok and disarmed the Chogyal's palace guards. Thereafter, a referendum was held in which 97.5 per cent of voters supported abolishing the monarchy, effectively approving union with India. On 16 May 1975, Sikkim became the 22nd state of the Indian Union, the monarchy was abolished and Kazi Lhendup Dorji became the first chief minister of the state.

As far as China making claims are concerned means bullshit, if they really do I claim your mother now hand over her to me else consequences will be bad

No need to merge Bhutan.

They are doing really well and the day India starts this merging, Bhutan will become pro China.

Let's not spoil a happy country.

If you want to merge anything, do it in POK
Bro as long as they are willing and the monarch wants to merger we should have no issues. Infact this would be a message to Chinis and leftie gang who want to disintegrate India. Chinis using argument that J&K is a dispute between I dia and Pak and China can send army there will also be dead. I see no harm in Bhutan Joining India as long as Indian GOI is fair to Bhutanese. We can have property laws in Bhutan as those in Himachal Pradesh.

Friends, I was wondering: what are conditions needed to be fulfilled for Bhutan's merger with the Indian Union?

Sikkim at some point was under India's "Suzerainty" - for all practical purposes, Bhutan's status is the same, though it is of course legally a sovereign state.

In 2007, Bhutan and India signed a friendship treaty after repeated threats and territorial aggression from China in 2005.

Sikkim after all acceded in not altogether different circumstances - there was the constant fear of Chinese aggression, the only different thing was that there was political disenchantment in Sikkim while there's none in Bhutan, but does that matter in the face of external threats?

So in short, what are the circumstances that need to be in place so that Bhutan can merge with UoI? And how long of a shot is it to even think about?
I am strongly against Bhutans merger with India. We will mess that country for good. Bhutanese are rated among the happiest in the world. And also a place where Indians are respected. That's rare. We have a good thing going and let's not mess it up.

Sikkim standoff: Let Bhutan handle border row, CPI-M tells Modi government

The Communist Party of India-Marxist said the issue "has assumed more serious proportions... because of the deterioration in the overall relations" between India and China.:facepalm::facepalm:

India should let Bhutan take the lead in negotiating with China on the disputed Doklam Plateau and other disputed territories instead of getting involved itself, the CPI-M has said. An editorial in the CPI-M journal People’s Democracy has also blamed India’s growing strategic ties with the US for the deteriorating relations with China. The standoff between India and China on the Doklam Plateau, adjoining the tri-junction between India, China and Bhutan, is now a month-old and shows no signs of ending. The Communist Party of India-Marxist said the issue “has assumed more serious proportions… because of the deterioration in the overall relations” between India and China.

But it noted that the present dispute did not pertain to any border area between China and India. “The Modi government must realise that there is no alternative to settling the recurring disagreements on the border except through negotiations,” the editorial said. “It is also important to keep in mind that Bhutan is the main party in the dispute. Bhutan is not a ‘protectorate’ of India. “It must be underlined that Bhutan has been negotiating with China directly on its border issues since 1984. “It is better that India let Bhutan take the lead in negotiating with China on the Doklam Plateau and other disputed territories. India can lend support to Bhutan’s position.”

The CPI-M said the present border fracas had assumed greater salience because Sino-Indian differences had aggravated since the Modi government took power.”The prime factor contributing to this divergence is India’s strategic alliance with the US. India has joined the US in its strategic designs in the Asia-Pacific and Indian Ocean region which is aimed at containing China. “India has openly sided with the US position on the South China Sea; India has opposed the Belt and Road Initiative.

“Within the country, the Modi government has increased the profile of the Dalai Lama and the so-called Tibetan provisional government (which) are serious irritants for China.” The editorial said India saw China as a stumbling block in its bid to join the Nuclear Suppliers Group and Beijing had not helped to get Pakistan-based Masood Azhar on the terrorist list notified by the UN. “The erosion of trust and mutual confidence has contributed to the present tensions related to Doklam.”

The CPI-M quoted Indian Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar as saying that India and China must not allow differences to become disputes. “It will be good if this approach is put into practice by the Modi government,” it said. “Extraneous factors must not be allowed to interfere in the quest for better relations between the two neighbours in Asia.”

I still fail to understand why Communists are even allowed in a democracy.

The US communist party is just a backyard organisation with a close watch from US federal agencies.

Why the hell do we allow them then?

What he is saying is that it is more likely that Bhutan will approach us for a merger rather than we going to ask them for it.

this only one of the celestial poisons that our dear chacha chutiya bequeath us after Independence

there is No difference between CPI, CPI(Marxist)or the CPI(Maoist) all are birds of a the same feathers

these are the same A holes who used to celebrate the 1962 defeat

Indian communist are nothing but cuckhold whores who first serviced the Soviets and then now the Chiniese they will also suck the cocks of the Vietnames Laotians and if need be the North Koreans as well all in the name of some moth eaten concept of politariet

I am disappointed that the government has not labelled the communist as a whole as a terrorist organization

because they cause more damage than the Indian National congregation of baboons

Its not possible, the royal family there is highly respected, people will immediately reject this, no matter what they will listen to the King and Queen more than any election, PM, or MP. Unless until King itself accedes.

If India was doing well in NE then there were hopes. More over they enjoy all the freedom to roam in India and vice versa.

You can go and stay in Bhutan being a foreigner but you cant stay in Kashmir being in your own country.
