nothing wrong with the system but with the people/ leaders and their way of implementation
Agree. Most of the time, people are just using the system for their benefit. There is no communism or sosialism in North Korea , no matter what they call it.

FACT - Most of us dunno anything about North Korea.

Kim Jong leadership may brought no economic growth to thier country. But people of North korea actually look him has a True Leader, Maybe their brainwashed or not they love their govt.

Remember watching a show in Nat Geo about North Korea. Dunno whether you guys ever heard about it or not!!!

National Geographic's: Don't Tell My Mother That I Am In North Korea

Start-phrase- Don't tell my mother that I'm in North Korea. Forced to leave behind his cell phone, GPS and even newspapers before entering the country, Diego Buñuel must pose as an actor to enter North Korea. Every move he makes is constantly monitored, with two watchers 'escorting' him wherever he goes. Starting in the capital of Pyongyang, Diego is housed in a hotel built on an island to keep visitors from interacting with locals, and where all the rooms are bugged. Attending a Catholic mass in Pyongyang, Diego finds that there are no ordained priests in North Korea; mass is led by party members. Diego also tours a fairground where children have the chance to 'Kill American Imperialism' in a shooting game. Venturing to the world's largest stadium, Diego watches 100,000 dancers perform in celebration of 60 years of dictatorship. While this festivity paints an image of happiness and unity, the portrait is not quite as picturesque in the countryside. The effects of poverty, famine and oppression are deeply etched in the faces of its people and the landscape. Even in Pyongyang, the signs of repression are omnipresent - from the number of dances allowed to be performed (only 5-7 according to one party member) to the images of Kim Jung Il found in every corner.

Jesus Christ, those NKers crying so hard... :(

Wonder if they actually care or just brainwashed into thinking that way... I don't think I could cry that hard even if one of my idols died...

Save your tears for your loved ones!

They ARE doing this for their loved ones. None of them wants to be accused of not shedding tears when the "Dear Leader" departed for his heavenly abode. Similar scenes were witnessed when the "Great Leader", Kim Il-Sung, kicked the bucket in 1994. Any hint of disloyalty and the entire family- three generations on either side (paternal and maternal) are dispatched to labour camps or executed in most gruesome manner (including gas chambers).

Look at them, they are all well dressed, healthy looking folks, most probably from Pyongang, a city whose residents are carefully and strictly vetted.

North Korea is one huge theater. The acts you see on the stage are carefully scripted and managed to put forth the propaganda of the Korean Workers Party and the Korean People's Army. Such mass synchronised grieving is a part of that act- show the world that Chosenjin are united in grieving for their departed leader and no amount of mellifluous acts by the evil imperialists or the western puppets will ever shake the faith of the people of Choson in the revolutionary zeal and Juche ideology of the Great leader Kim Il-Sung and the Dear Leader Kim Jong-Il. This is as much an attempt to show that the Choson people wholeheartedly support the Kim family and that the "beloved leader" Kim Jong-Un has been chosen the the people in the DPRK to lead their valiant nation forward.

The backstage and the understage of this stage hide some of the most wretched poverty and human suffering that much of the world has hardly seen and seldom heard about.

What is wrong with socialism. I can think of several countries that are doing rather well. Like Scandinavian countries.
(Off-topic)

Please review Marxism carefully. Scandinavian countries are not Marx's Socialists. Some political parties may go with the name Socialist Party but they are not following Marx's template. These countries are capitalists by economy: private ownership, free trade, private businesses, financial markets, private banks, etc. Neither are these countries politically socialists: there is no "dictatorship by the proletarians" or the country is not run by workers parties from top down, rather these are parliamentary democracies in the Western definition complete with business lobbies and interest groups.

Never claimed they are Marx Socialists. Only saying that the society is more equal than many of the so-called socialist countries like China or North Korea.

Not sure what you mean by" not run by workers parties from top down". AP (Arbeiderpartiet/Labour party) in Norway is one of the most dominent in the country with 1/3 of the votes.

Their society is under collapse due to apologetic heart-bleeding for unwanted radicals and terrorists. Socialism means being ashamed of one's own ancient culture, ashamed of one's origin and try to create something out of thin air which ultimately either collapses the country (communist countries) or collapses the society (Scandinavian countries).

Because if these guys don't cry for the media, they'd be shot dead for treason. Remember that everything they show is staged and choreographed and forced people.
