Yeah some more uncomfortable questions for the Pakistanis to answer to the US, what were the Chinese doing near the P3s? US better realize all their tech is going to the Chinese via Pakistan.
They were upgraded with the latest technology as well. The price for a P-3 in 1987 was $36million, however with the upgrade they probably cost five times that. In reality this is a significant strategic set back for Pakistan, this technology is priceless. UK spend £3billion on half a dozen Nimrods before scrapping them - its difficult thing to develop..

it would be interesting to see various analysts and specialists commenting on the terrorist attack on the naval base, on pak news channels!

nobody is buying the TTP claim, all hands and fingers pointing towards indian(hindu), Israel(jews) and CIA (uncle sam) joint effort to train and support terrorists in afghanistan to attack and break up what ever exists of pakistan today!

i wish, I Wish, RAW could carry out or support balcohis or any other group inside pakistan to carry out ops like this in pakistan.

attacking a military installation and blow up big assests like P3 is a HUGE symbolic set back for the military and for the civilians who place their faith in the military.

its a slap on the face of the military.

anyway im sure next time someone will take your advise....like IAF or Indian Navy!

I am not aware about the inside story but I am sure about the below statement

:gossip: Today, the Pakistani rupee fell to a record low against the US dollar.

"It was the revenge of martyrdom of Osama bin Laden. It was the proof that we are still united and powerful," Taliban spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan told Reuters by telephone from an undisclosed location.
As inclined more towards enconomy side, I would love to see the impact on the economy of Pakistan. Which I believe is already weak and :crutch:.

heard two of the terrorist run away, if this is what the PA and PN security is, then they are really incompetent nothing much. Those terrorists were in military area and compound has barb wire and huge wall on all sides, it is very very difficult to get in and equally difficult when 2000 armed forces to guard around along with 200 SSG commandos and snipers, with US supplied assault rifles and add on accessories.

Just goes to show them that they need to take heed and get these terrorists wiped out. They have been playing both sides too long and now should reconsider giving the Taliban and others a safe haven. This is not the outcome that they wanted, but because of the two faced governmental roles, it is what could be expected. you are either for or against, you can't play both sides or this is what will continue to happen. Their security agency should be shut down and a new one needs to be created, there are too many synthesizers in their security organization and I'm sure that many had some type of information that this was going to happen. It may also be a ploy to bring the civilian government down and go back to military rule.
