Dharamshala: After staging a protest rally against the student leader Kanhaiya Kumar, president JNU Students' Union (JNUSU), ex-servicemen from the state have filed a criminal case against him in a Dharamshala court on Wednesday for his alleged derogatory remarks against the Indian Army at an event in New Delhi. The complaint was filed in the court of Kangra district and session judge under Section 124-A (sedition), 499 (defamation), 500 (punishment for defamation), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace), 505 (statements conducing to public mischief) and 511 (punishment for attempting to commit offences punishable with imprisonment for life or other imprisonment) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). tnn

The veteran's counsel Visha Chakshu Puri said the accused -- by his unfounded and unsubstantiated statement -- has not only violated the Constitution of India, but also brought in hatred or contempt towards the armed forces.

The case would come up for hearing on April 12. Four complainants -- Kahan Singh Thakur and Shamsher Chand Sharma (both retired junior commissioned officers or JCOs) and ex-captains Karam S Dhiman and Madan Chand Katoch -- alleged that Kumar's remark that the Indian Army rape women and commit atrocities in Kashmir are "highly obnoxious and irresponsible", and is an "attempt to vilify the forces". "His remarks are seditious and defamatory, and have harmed the image of the Indian Army in the eyes of the general public, especially the youth and womenfolk," alleged the complainants.

The complainants further alleged that they had sent a legal notice to Kanhaiya Kumar on March 12, seeking a public apology within 15 days.

"Kanhaiya neither replied to the notice, nor apologized for his derogatory remarks against the Indian Army," said the complainants, adding that ex-servicemen were perturbed over such remarks against the brave soldiers of the country.

Kumar -- who is facing sedition charges, and has been on a six-month interim bail -- had made the statements while addressing students during a function on March 8 to mark the International Women's Day.

It's nothing but making fun of nationalism and I it's leftist way of making anti nationalism a fashion.

Through this video leftist are saying that BJPs meaning of nationalism is a joke not to be taken seriously.

I am waiting for RW response to it. I found these videos to be dumb

What happened in NIT Kashmir(raising pro pak) is not new thing. Pro Paki slogans were raised there and by Muslim Kashmiri Students in Kashmir and outside eg. In Punjab - engg colleges ironically where they are studying on center funded subsidized education. There are regular fight offs where Kashmiri Hindus along with students from other part of country confront them, when they raise pro pak and anti india slogans.

But the thing is stubborn resistance to their antics in Kashmir is new. Good, its via common people of Jammu/Kashmir only that India can reclaim space which has been occupied by Paki sponsored dogs.

politically India's biggest problem and impeding factor has been its criminal 'tolerance' to all kinds of evil. NIT Srinagar could be understood, but there's no excuse for successive govt.s to have tolerated such scum without dandafying them at every juncture! even now it seems its upto us the public to resist and fight the demon-armies of jhanti-nationals, for we have no compulsion to woo any sickular scum.

Air Travel, Iphone, Luxury Cars: Poor Anti-Capitalist Kanhaiya is suddenly Rich..How?

Kanhaiya Kumar, the self proclaimed poor man’s hero, has been in news for being poor. He is so poor that his poverty becomes his virtue. He is a man standing against the capitalist system, fighting against the rich and fighting for the poor. Apparently shouting against Modi and pissing in front of women is what those who fight for poor do.

Let us look at how he is working to help the poor:

    1) He travels by Air
Kanhaiya Kumar, whose family earns about 3000 rupees per month according to his own claims, is travelling by air. Nothing wrong with it. But air travel is expensive.

Today, he got into a fight with another man on a flight to Pune from Mumbai. Considering all the time he would have spent in the travel formalities on both airports, road travels would have taken about the same time.

Yet, he chose to travel by air. How is this poor guy suddenly rich enough to travel many times per month through air? Even for very short distances?

    2) He uses an iPhone
Now, let us start by saying that there’s nothing wrong in using an iPhone. It’s a great mobile. Even PM Modi uses it. Most people at the top use it. Many others who need good performance use it.

But, iphones are expensive as anything. in fact, iphone is known for being expensive. How is a poor man’s champion who is unemployed and is not currently the member of any party (officially) able to afford an iPhone?

[IMG]Plus, how is getting an iPhone fighting against capitalism? We can understand the need to fly by plane. But, you can buy a cheap smartphone, probably from a small POOR company.

    3) He travels in LUXURY vehicles
When Kanhaiya Kumar is not traveling by air, he is using a 21 lakh rupee car to travel. Where did he get it from? Who supported the expense of the fuel?

As a self proclaimed poor man’s champion, shouldn’t he be driving what poor man drive? Maybe a Nano. But, he cannot afford it in real life, being unemployed. However, he needs luxury to talk about the poor who are dying in the heat wave that India is suffering from right now.

Monthly expense of Kanhaiya right now would easily be over 1-2 lakh rupees. His mother earns 3000 rupees. He earns nothing. He is not member of any political party. Who is funding his trips? Will Kanhaiya answer?

Did he get this money from Alleged funding from Nitish Kumar and Secular Gang as Secular Fee?

Kanhaiya lies about being Strangled by a Man in Jet Airways Flight; Police Nail his Lie

JNU Student union leader, the anti-national Kanhaiya, was on a flight to Pune today where according to his claims, a man tried to strangle him. Kanhaiya has claimed that while he was on the flight, a man tried to strangle him and that Jet Airways staff was not co-operating with him and instead asked him to get off the plane along with the man.

CISF has identified the man accused by Kanhaiya as Manas Jyoti Deka.

Here is what the anti-national Kanhaiya tweeted after getting off the flight:

After blaming Jet Airways for not taking action against the man who assaulted him, he also mentions that Jet Airways deplaned the man along with him:

And he turns into a detective and as Kejriwal would do, he starts blaming BJP for this:

Here is how Jet Airways responded to the allegations by Kanhaiya:

“Some guests on board this morning’s flight Jet Airways fight 9W 618 Mumbai to Pune have been off loaded at Mumbai airport in the interest of operational safety.”

    Now, the Truth
According to the initial probe conducted by the police, this is a case of Kanhaiya Kumar having an argument with Manas and both of them pushing each other. They started arguing over something and then both started pushing each other after which Jet Airways had to intervene and remove both the men from the flight for operational safety.

“From the preliminary inquiry we have learnt that the co passenger had a window seat and while taking the seat he bumped into Kanhaiya. They pushed each other. But there was nothing like an assault or a fight. But we can ascertain anything only after they come out and we record statements of flight crew and the two involved in the incident.” said the police.

Rebels punished: JNU rusticates Umar and Anirban; Kanhaiya fined Rs 10,000

    http://www.firstpost.com/india/jnu-...ru-2748662.html?utm_source=FP_CAT_LATEST_NEWS

New Delhi: The JNU on Monday slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on student leader Kanhaiya Kumar and rusticated three others for varying durations over their alleged role in the controversial 9 February event for which they were charged with sedition, an action which had sparked outrage and triggered protests.

Based on the findings of a high-level enquiry committee (HLEC), Umar Khalid has been rusticated for one semester and another leader Anirban Bhattacharya till 15 July. Umar has also been slapped a fine of Rs 20,000. Anirban has also been barred from JNU campus for a period of five years from 23 July.

Kashmiri student, Mujeeb Gattoo, has been rusticated for two semesters. A penalty of Rs 10,000 has been imposed on JNU students union (JNUSU) joint secretary Saurabh Sharma, the only ABVP member in the union.

JNU students union president Kanhaiya, Umar and Anirban were arrested on charges of sedition in February in connection with the controversial event and are out on bail.

Their arrests had triggered widespread protests at JNU and many other universities, following which the Opposition had accused the government of attempting to stifle dissent.

While Umar and Anirban were blamed for "triggering communal violence" and "disrupting" communal harmony on the campus, Mujeeb was found guilty of participating sloganeering. Kanhaiya was pronounced guilty of indiscipline and misconduct.

Those who have been imposed fine of Rs 20,000 each include former JNUSU President Ashutosh Kumar, former general secretary Chintu Kumari, current General Secretary Rama Naga, Aishwarya Adhikari, former Vice President Anant Prakash Narayan and Gargi for "violating" dissciplinary norms.

The campus has been made out of bounds for two former students -- Banojyotsana Lahiri and Draupadi -- while hostel facilities of Ashutosh Kumar have been withdrawn for a year and Komal Mohite till July 21.

In his reaction, Kanhaiya said the punitive action announced by the authorities was "simply unacceptable" and that the students rejected it. The students will hold an "all party" meeting later tonight to finalise future course of action.

"We completely reject this farcical enquiry report, as it is based on sheer vendetta and a biased enquiry. These are all innocent students, coming from extremely humble and underprivileged backgrounds," JNUSU Vice President Shehla Rashid Shora said.

The JNU had constituted a five-member high-level enquiry committee to investigate the controversial event at the campus on February 9 and the panel had found some students guilty of violating disciplinary norms and disrupting communal harmony. on the campus.

An official of the JNU said financial penalty has been imposed on 14 students including Kanhaiya.

Anirban's punishment is the harshest as he has been debarred from the university for five years.

When asked about punishment to Anirban, the official said, "During the period of rustication, the student ceases to exist on rolls of the university but has an option of joining back and re-enrolling in the same course after period of rustication is over.

"However, following debarment from the university for a period the student cannot enroll in any course or join any academic activities on campus," the official said.

He said while Umar and Gattoo will have the option of resuming their courses once the period of rustication is over, Anirban has been given a window of a week (July 16-23) to complete his thesis.

    JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar. AFP

"If he is unable to do so, he will not be able to seek an extension or re-enroll as he has been debarred from university for five years on completion of that week. If his PhD is not completed during this period he will not be able to do it from JNU for five years however he can enroll at some other university," he said.

The official said disciplinary measures have been taken for not following university procedures, misinforming the university, misconduct and indiscipline, causing and colluding in the unauthorised entry of persons into the campus, putting up objectionable posters, arousing communal, caste or regional feelings and creating disharmony, blockade or forceful prevention of any normal movement of traffic and violation of security, safety rules notified by the university.

The committee imposed the fine on Sharma, who had objected to the event, for blocking traffic on the day it happened. Surprisingly, Aishwarya whose name was not mentioned in the report, has also been imposed the financial penalty.

"A farce is what this enquiry has been made from day 1 to witch-hunt students and punish them by hook and crook. I want to tell the VC that his friend Appa Rao did the same in Hyderabad university but our friends fought back. We will also do the same," said Umar.

A senior university official said, "Based on the report of the high-level committee which arrived at its conclusion based on depositions, perusal of video clips (provided by JNU security and authenticated by forensic tests), and examination of documents on record, the university has decided to rusticate three students.

The report of the five-member panel has underlined lapses on part of administration and taken into account the role of outsiders in the event. However, no action has been taken against any administrative official.

"As per the committee findings, application for holding this event circumvented the permission process and the organisers disobeyed the instructions from the administration not to hold it and that amounted to wilful defiance," the JNU official said.

Following the preliminary report of the committee, the university had suspended eight students. However, their suspension was revoked when the panel submitted it report on March 11.

Slamming the authorities for the action against the students, Shora said,"They are all dedicated activists and this is a conspiracy to crush anti-Modi voices.

"Not only will we not remain silent against this anti-people government, we will also challenge this sham of a report. The punishments are all based on one-sided statements from ABVP members, and our repeated calls to conduct a fair enquiry were ignored."

Accusing the Vice Chancellor of "taking directions" from the Centre and acting as an "RSS loyalist", she said the students will launch a countrywide campaign to "expose" the government's "anti-student and anti-Dalit" character.

"Rakesh Bhatnagar, the head of the committee, is the treasurer of anti-reservationist Youth for Equality, and most students who have been punished belong to Dalit, Muslim and backward castes," she said.

ABVP's Sharma said punishments announced by JNU is a "compromise and not penalty".

"Penalising me for blocking traffic for stopping the event is injustice," he said.

    http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/jnu-is-a-den-of-organised-sex-racket-says-dossier-prepared-by-university-teachers/1/652719.html

A dossier prepared by a group of teachers of the Jawaharlal Nehru University is likely to add more fuel to the fiery controversy surrounding the prestigious academic institution. The 200-page report, which has been put together by a group of 11 JNU teachers, describes the university as a "den of organised sex racket."
The document, which was prepared in 2015 and released only recently to a few journalists, has been submitted to the JNU administration, The Wire reports. The report has been prepared by a group of 11 teachers, who are believed to be close to the Bharatiya Janata Party and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, the students' wing of the RSS.
Amita Singh, professor at the Centre for Law and Governance, who heads the group of teachers, claimed that sex workers inside JNU hostel messes are a common thing.

"Over one thousand boys and girls students have been fined from Rs 2000 to Rs 5000 for consuming alcohol, for indulging in immoral activities in their hostels. At a casual glance at the gates of the hostel one can see hundreds of empty alcohol bottles. Sex workers have been openly employed in hostel messes, where they not only lure JNU girls into their organized racket but also pollute the boys," Amita Singh was quoted as saying.

"How come big and high brand cars are moving around the hostels particularly in the night hours. Some security staff is also involved in this racket. Money, sex, drugs and alcohol are tools through which freshers are being lured into this ring," she added.
The document titled 'Jawaharlal Nehru University: The Den of Secessionism and Terrorism' also accuses a few university teachers of encouraging a "decadent culture in JNU and legitimising separatist movements in India."
"It is a matter of serious concern that some JNU academics masquerading as liberals and feminists have been engaged in nefarious and anti-national activities of maligning India publically through their statements, lectures, publications and extra-academic activities of their NGOs which receive liberal funding from foreign hostile agencies," the document states.
Assistant professor in the Special Centre for Sanskrit Studies, Hari Ram Mishra, who was part of the group which prepared the dossier, told The Wire that they want to safeguard JNU from more trouble.
"The reason we compiled and submitted the dossier to the university administration was to prevent future disturbances in the university. JNU has become a place where communists terrorise others in the name of freedom of speech. Our point is that students should be apolitical. If you want to enter politics, there is a huge field outside. But JNU Students' Union should be limited to campus work only. But unfortunately, here communists are preferred over meritorious students," Mishra said.
