Replaced? :laugh: To "replace" their 100+ Jf-17s with Blockiii Imran Khan will have to sell his sperms.

Also, some claimed Blockiii first flight had taken place but no video, image or even official confirmation has been released... which means it's very likely that it crashed, like Jf-17 often do.
Otherwise upgrade concept is pretty decent theoretically. But given that Chinese J-11s got destroyed 4:0 by Thai Jas-39 Gripens in BVR exarcise last week, it's hard to tell how much its tech like the air-cooled joke of a radar is actually capable of.
Who wrote this article. Please provide source too. Such a crude language used
Probably online-translated Chinese article, because it claims PL(Thunderbolt)-15 to be better than Meteor.

It seems blk3 will only include a Chinese Aesa.. & no major structural & significant changes.. much to the disenchantment for panboyzz..

Easy peasy for rafale & tejas mk1A..

And here I thought, first flight would take place in Pakistan. According to Pakistanis, Pakistan is a equal partner in the JV. Also, Pakistan is the primary operator of this type.
Also, it has been a decade since block1 and one would naturally think that Pakistan would take the lead in the JV.

But, here we have a situation wherein all (block 1, block 2, J-17B and now block 3) all had their first flight in China.

Use of composite.. is deplorable.. why?? Just look at the picture.. all yellow u see is metal.. this means It's RCS will be appalling when compared to .. TEJAS Mk1A.. as mk1A will use significant amount of composite.. to reduce RCS..

& I nvr said indigenous in my statement..

All al bakistan do is paint job & assembling.. if it was indigenous in a slightest of degree then.. jf17 blk 3 would be rolled on & tested in al bakistan not.. china.. it's a full CAC Chinese project with name of FC-1 xiaolong.. that's why u are seeing testing images surfacing from chinese internet..

It becomes jf17 when it reaches pakistan shores.. for assembly & paint job..

Lol that's the hell lot of indigenization.. going on for FC-1 XIAOLONG

Developmental certifications are done by China for obvious reasons. Initially, China took Russian help for it's design. The JV is Russian-Chinese.

Only saving Grace is the fact that Pakistanis believe they have received royalty from Myanmar sale.

I have a different view of the JV. If FC1 is sold, Pakistan doesn't get any proceeds of the sale. But if JF-17 is sold (Nigeria) only then Pakistan receives it's share of royalty/proceeds.

As I firmly believe that FC1 is not the JV (between China and Pakistan) but JF-17 is.

Why would they receive any royalty for FC-1/Jf-17 export unless the jets sent were assembled in Pak. (Not that it matters... Less than a dozen outside Pakistan.) FC-1's relation with Pakistan seems even worse than India's with Su-30.

Can we export Su-30? We claimed that India tend to offer the Super Sukhoi upgrade package in export market.

More apt example would be Yakhont and Brahmos in the initial years.
If Yakhont would get a customer, India would not receive any penny from the proceeds. But if Brahmos were to be sold India and Russia would share proceeds ( JV being 51:49).
But, in the early years, Yakhont and Brahmos shared most of the systems.

Su30 MKI is not a JV. It has some work-share agreement. Yes, there was a talk of India selling upgrade package of super MKI, which essentially for the customers who want Western (and Indian) components in their upgrade package.
India similarly wanted to sell upgrade package (upg) for Bangladesh Mig-29.

Russia can supply any third country with Su30MKI out of Indian assembly line if there is a tripartite agreement between Russia, India and that third country. But, that doesn't make Su30MKI a JV.
