This is a prelude, rumour saying it's about to fly in Oct, so something like this is testing the reaction
3 IMO. The J-20 may be their strike or air superiority component. It does not matter which but I would tilt towards air superiority. This J-XX may be their F-35 equivalent or rather the AMCA equivalent considering it has 2 engines. The numbers component. The 3rd would be the J-1x or something meant for export. A single engine 5th gen equivalent of the JF-17 class. There could be a stealthy UCAV in the mix too.
All latest pictures about SAC new fighters, J-11B, BS and 15 are showing WS-10, looks like their confidence about WS-10 on twin engines fighter is very high, I won't be suprised if they use it on J-XX. The engines on the above pic are nothing, not WS-10 nor AL-31F.
J-XX will make its first flight tomorrow? ±±±ßµÄÎԲõ³,ÅÀǽµ³,×¼±¸ºÃÃËÂð - ¿Õ¾ü°æ - ³¬¼¶´ó±¾Óª¾üÊÂÂÛ̳
CDer says tomorrow, ops, today will have a test~ but dont take it seriously. and,sb. said this SAC fighter will be J-1X,which is a 3.5gen fighter with a 4gen shape.
Just another RC model entry into the SAC UAC competition as per the Chinese Defense Forum. Nothing to see here, carry on.
hahah Kunal, stop taking other people's comments from MP.net.. Anyways, looks good, looks like the F-35. Looks better then the J-20.
This looks good , but i would rather see where china stands at the end of say 2015 or 2020 in respect to its fighters .Although they have made great strides but operational status is what i am interested in. Maybe they will just choose 2 out of the 4-5 existing prototypes as their production platform.
the chinese characters on the model body mean shenyang aviation university and shenyang section of china aviation industry
