Do any of you guys know what is Israels Samson option? I understand it involves mutually assured destruction. But some experts suggest that even Europe will be targeted. If any of you know more information on this topic please do share.
Samson is a biblical strong man character (OT and in Torah) who was imprisoned by the Philistines and tied to the pillars of a massive temple.
Samson understanding that he is going to be killed by the Philistines, pushes the pillars with all his might and brings down the temple killing all the Philistines in it along with himself.
Israel's principle is similar. It has of course not been officially confirmed.
Basically they'll nuke random countries (probably Euro countries) if Israel's destruction is imminent.
This will mean that all the Euro countries will at least try to diffuse the situation, if there is a high tense scenario between Israel and Arabs.

nuke random countries? how can they hold 'random' (innocent) countries hostage. those countries are not adding fuel to the fire, why would you point a gun at them?

It is an extreme form of deterrence strategy.
""how can they hold random (innocent) countries hostage"... because their determination to survive is that strong, they are saying: if Israel is destroyed not just the Arab countries but the world in general, will pay a price.

Do note that this has neither been confirmed nor denied officially by Israel. Heck, Israel doesn't even accept or deny that they have nukes.

Everyone knows they have 1MT capability. Since the age of Golda Meir . Some Israeli politicians also admitted it.

Israeli hackers launch counter offensive, breaking into computers and photographing a group of anti-Israel hackers

Resident of Indonesia that participated in OpIsrael

A failed attack by members of Anonymous against Israel earlier this week led Israeli hackers to make an offensive, publicly revealing the faces of some participants in the anti-Israel attack.

Wednesday morning the hacker team published an "Israeli Elite Force" document with details of 16 Internet users from around the world that allegedly participated in OpIsrael, which was organized by an anti-Israeli network. The document shows the details of the attack participants, including names, country of origin and usernames and passwords to various websites they use. Most participants came from Malaysia and Indonesia, while others scattered around Portugal, the UK, Italy, Switzerland, Finland, Algeria and Saudi Arabia.

The hacker who carried out the counterattack, and called himself Buddhax, managed to infiltrate the computers of participants, capture screenshots and in some cases their pictures with webcams on their computers.

He said it was not very complicated, and that it is proof of how Anonymous anti-Israeli attackers are amateurs. "I'm not a great hacker, but I'm at least good enough to expose you," he wrote. After he got to their the computer screens, he warned them against future participation in similar operations: "Hey, next time do not take part in an offensive against Israel. We know who you are, we know where you are. Praise Israel."

Lior Pollack, CTO of information security at 2BSecure, said to NEXTER that the "exposure carried out by a team of hackers shows that the level of sophistication is very high as shown by the use of advanced tools to reach PC attackers to obtain information, photographs from their cameras through a Trojan horse. It's not easy, they had to lure the attackers to press all kinds of links to get the Trojan horse in," he stressed, adding that "there is a challenge even in recognizing which tools used can be accessed. Their methods suggests they are much more sophisticated and experienced than those attacking from OpIsrael, who are basically just kids who do basic things."

Avnet Cyber and Security Information explained to NEXTER that there are two main ways to locate a person: one is painstaking work of searching the social networks and connecting detail to detail, and the second is writing code sent to the user that will take you to their computer or to an account of any sort. According to the company, the Israeli hacker's findings do not only indicate its level of sophistication, but it also indicates their ability to perform basic work better than the anti-Israel hackers.

Nation comes to standstill as sirens wail for 6 million lost

Millions of Israelis paused for two minutes Monday in solemn silence as air raid sirens wailed across the country to mark Holocaust Remembrance Day.

The annual commemoration for the 6 million Jews killed in Europe during the Holocaust brought the country to a standstill at 10 a.m., with drivers standing alongside their cars on highways and normally bustling city centers freezing for the funereal event.

After the sirens, a number of remembrance ceremonies were planned for across the country, including a wreath-laying at the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial in Jerusalem and the "Unto Every Person There is a Name" ceremony at the Knesset.

In Poland, thousands of Israeli and Jewish youth and others will march from the infamous Auschwitz labor camp to the Birkenau death camp as part of the annual March of the Living memorial.

Events for the commemoration day began Sunday night at 8 p.m. with a state ceremony at Yad Vashem.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned at the ceremony that the world was ignoring the lessons of the Shoah by allowing Iran to continue its nuclear program.

"I hope that the lessons of the past will be learned and that the desire to avoid confrontation at any cost will not lead to a deal that will exact a much heavier price in the future," he said, referring to negotiations between Tehran and six world powers over uranium enrichment levels. "I call on the leaders of the world powers to insist on a full dismantling of Iran's capability to manufacture nuclear weapons, and to persist until this goal is achieved."

President Shimon Peres, speaking at the same ceremony, called on the world to pay attention to the threat of rising anti-Semitism in Europe.

"We must not ignore any occurrence of anti-Semitism, any desecration of a synagogue, any tombstone smashed in a cemetery in which our families are buried," he said. "We must not ignore the rise of extreme right-wing parties with neo-Nazi tendencies who are a danger to each of us and a threat to every nation."

Another Massive Natural Gas Discovery Made Off The Coast Of Israel

An oil and gas group exploring offshore Israel said on Sunday it may have discovered a field that contains an estimated 2.5 trillion cubic feet (tcf) of gas and 255 million barrels of oil.

About 30 tcf of gas have been discovered off Israel's Mediterranean coast in recent years, turning the country once dependent on energy imports into a potential exporter.

The latest announcement, which was based on 3D seismic data from 2012, covers the Oz license some 50 km (30 miles) from the coastal city of Herzliya in water 1,150 meters (yards) deep.

The license is shared by Lapidoth-Heletz with a 41.5 percent stake, Frendum Investments with 21.5 percent, Coleridge Gas and Oil with 12 percent, Israel Opportunity and Placida Investment each with a 10 percent stake, and Azerbijan-based Caspian Drilling with the remaining 5 percent.

Lapidoth-Heletz said a report by Texas-based consultants Netherland, Sewell & Associates estimated a 23-27 percent chance of success for finding the 2.5 tcf of gas and a 16-18 percent chance for finding 255 million barrels of oil.

"(Oz's) proximity to reserves where producible amounts of natural gas and oil have been found strengthened our opinion that the license holds significant amounts of gas and oil," said Eli Kamar, chief executive of Lapidoth-Heletz.

Secretary of State John Kerry Compares Israel to South African Apartheid State - Katie Pavlich

Secretary of State John Kerry Compares Israel to South African Apartheid State.

The secretary of state said that if Israel doesn't make peace soon, it could become 'an apartheid state,' like the old South Africa. Jewish leaders are fuming over the comparison.

If there's no two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict soon, Israel risks becoming "an apartheid state," Secretary of State John Kerry told a room of influential world leaders in a closed-door meeting Friday.

Senior American officials have rarely, if ever, used the term "apartheid" in reference to Israel, and President Obama has previously rejected the idea that the word should apply to Jewish State. Kerry's use of the loaded term is already rankling Jewish leaders in America—and it could attract unwanted attention in Israel, as well.

John Kerry denies calling Israel an 'apartheid state'

Mr Kerry lashed out against attacks against him, but acknowledged his comments last week to a closed international forum could have been misinterpreted

US Secretary of State John Kerry has said he had chosen the wrong word in describing Israel's potential future after coming under withering criticism for saying the Jewish state could become an "apartheid state" if it doesn't reach a peace deal with the Palestinians.

In a statement released by the State Department, Mr Kerry lashed out against "partisan political" attacks against him, but acknowledged his comments last week to a closed international forum could have been misinterpreted. He said he was and is a strong supporter of Israel, which he called a "vibrant democracy." He said his remarks were only an expression of his firm belief that a two-state resolution is the only viable way to end the long-running conflict.
