The Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (alternatively translated as Islamic State in Iraq and Syria or Islamic State in Iraq and al-Sham) (Arabic: الدولة الاسلامية ÙÙŠ العراق والشام‎ ʾad-dawla ʾal-islÄmiyya fÄ«l-'irÄq waÅ¡-Å¡Äm or Arabic: داعش‎ dÄÊ¿iÅ¡), abbreviated ISIL and ISIS, is an unrecognized state and active jihadist militant group in Iraq and Syria. U.S. Trained ISIS at Secret Jordan Base | Global Research how valid is this site? But we do know that ISIS (part of AQ before the split) were being helped by the U.S in Syria. Some others say that all of this is just a shock campaign to allow the U.S ( a proper solid reason) to get back in the middle east and "clean up the mess" and also get Syria.
If this map is indeed a work of those clowns and their plans then f*** them. The first point is the moment they close in on Israel,India or even Pakistan for that matter they will be fighting with a force that will be too much for them to handle not the Iraqi Army that will just run away(most Arab armies have this kind of reputation, the Saudis actually did the same in 1991 against the Iraqis). Even the Pakistani Taliban hasn't moved out of Swat to wield any kind of control, they'd have to get past the entire Pakistani military first and here these ISIS clowns are dreaming of controlling India and Israel and yes even Turkey whose SF have quite a reputation. Keep dreaming , stay in your shithole , enjoy your 450 million $'s because moving towards country with a decent military might end you permanently.
May not be legit, the US has been hunting the ISIS since a long time since the days of Zarqawi. They might have given funds and arms to the Syrian rebels and those resources might have reached the ISIS, but direct aid and training is something I don't see happening. It'd be nice if @Ray sir could clear this up, he has a better grasp of this situation than most of us here. As of now the current administration has ruled out sending troops to Iraq, some former US military folks I talked to themselves said its a bad idea to put boots on the ground. Moral of the story is that its bad to fight a conflict like this without an exit strategy. The US has clearly made mistakes as far as occupation goes, the British and other Europeans were better at that.
so according to these dushbags where ever muslims lives that country should be an islamic state well i think its time for them to get their head out of their A$$e$ and start thinking
you might have already noticed this, but most of the darkened area in map has considerable Muslim population, so it looks like they are banking on their Islamic brotherhood to come and support them in time of action. they can try though, and its not a crime to daydream. but they will soon face the reality. many have tried to capture India but instead got bullet ridden bodies.
Might be Possible US has trained ISIS - They always have their Oil Interest and they are willing to do anything for that. Remember the Mujhahudeen and the Taliban was mainly their creation.
Put your musings in the historical perspective and recall how the Arab under Islam captured all those territories shown in black. ISIS is after all a fundamentalist and rabid Sunny organisation considered much harder than Al Qauida with an aim to establish a Muslim / Sunni Caliphate and then have a Caliphate empire. When Islam did conquer the entire Arabian peninsula and reached upto Spain on the west and Bay of Bengal on the East, they did capture civilisations many times much advanced then them...populations much larger than them - The Persians, the Turks, The Hindus, The Christians, The Egyptians .... to name a few. In the modern day they only need to control the sources of energy (gas and oil) and then launch vigorous asymmetric warfare to regain lost Islamic territories. That is what their dream is !!

A little different, the Mujahideen hadn't fought the US and they were fighting the Soviets, it was quite later that they decided to fight the US. The ISIS has been fighting the US way before Syria even happened. If it is oil then you go to the Kurds not the Sunnis. The Syrians export most of their oil to EU and anyway the US is becoming an energy exporter due to shale plus the US imports most of its oil from Canada,Saudi Arabia. It is cheap oil they are after and for that the Kurds are a better source. More reading here: Iraqi Kurdistan Set To Become An Independent World Oil Power - Forbes
But It was the Americans who helped Mujhahideen fight the Soviets. It was their Final provision of Aircraft Destroyers which won the war for the Mujahideens. If The TV Documentaries and my perception is not wrong.
