Why would you bother doing that? There is something called monitoring. Look what the US does. It cannot even trust a trust worthy country like India and has an end user verification process.

So what makes you think China doesnt route it to terrorists via a rogue third country?

The problem with a Rising China

The problem with China as a preeminent power in Asia is that the Chinese do not have any morals.

China supplies arms and weapons to the worst dictators and most brutal militias in Africa and Asia and Latin America regardless of how many million people are killed and brutalized by these regimes.

The Chinese in general do not take into account any humanitarian concerns when dealing with other nations and regimes - as far as they are concerned they totally decouple their foreign policy from any human rights and humanitarian concerns.

In democratic societies you have to be concerned about what your own people think of your government, especially if you engage in dastardly acts that exacerbate conflicts overseas or create mass human suffering.
At the very least, you will get called out for it by various groups and the media, and will have to defend your position. If you dont care about what the people think, then you will get dumped in the next election. One of the main reasons why McCain lost the election was because so many people were pissed off with the Republicans for the Iraq war.

Even a screwed-up country like Pakistan has a Free Press, and now you can read almost daily articles by writers in Pakistan newspapers questioning their entire Jihadi strategy towards India and Afghanistan and its impact and cost on Pakistani people.

China does not have any such self-checking mechanism. To make matters worse, the Chinese people dont know, and dont care about what their country does in other countries. The Chinese in general do not have much of a social conscience and they dont really have any spiritual values either.

Bottom line is simple - If you can give us something we really need, then we will do business with you, and we couldnt care less about anything else. This is true in their attitude in general towards anything - commerce, military affairs, environment, terrorism.

So if folks think the US or Russia were bad super-powers; then you aint seen nothing yet !!

If China achieves parity with the US in say 50 years - that is when you will see what a really nasty super-power is. The whole of South/South-East Asia needs to wake up to this reality......its not just India that is going to be on the receiving end !!!
