once again, you don't know doesn't mean it doesn't exist...

and I rember you have created a thread(The Truth about the WS-10) about WS10 ,I had made it clear that J11 B/BS with WS10 were entering into service.

at least 4 regiments of J11B/BS equipped with WS 10 engines are in service ...there are loads of pix on the internet, but the only problem is that you can't recognize which regiment this jet belongs to when you saw it... what a pity.
well let me make u very clear that J11b was the pirated version of Su 30 MKK which russians dont want to sell their AL 31F engines .So chinese were determined to induct J11b so they decided WS 10a is the only option left.

1 more thing I have a data about the inventory of PLAAF j11A/B till year 2011

u would see data to be around 120 + 90 ordered now if u say 4 regiment of J11b have been inducted which means 4 x 18= 72 jets it means ,out of 120 j11 jets around 72 jets are J11B ,well thats interesting :p:lol:

please , not again...we have explained it many times.

PLAAF and PLANAF has 76 imported Su27SK , 105 assembled J11A , 100 SU30MKK . all these are using AL31F
as we know ,the lifetime of AL31F is 1500 hours. so the replacement is necessary . and obviously PLA won't use the WS10 to replace it.

and 6 blocks of J10/J10A and 2 Blocks of J10S (around 30 jets per block)are produced using the AL31FN...and these jets need the new AL31FN as well when the lifetime of the old engine is up.

we will see the new J10 of Block 7 with WS10...but it hasn't happened yet. just for your reference. talking to much about the future is really not our way.

well Su 30 & 27 flankers series are also almost same only canard is extra addition, after all J11's source comes from flanker derivatives exactly like SU 30

difference between Su-27 and J-11b :
new Radar (Mechanically scanned or PESA ..??), new Cockpit (understandable), new MAWS, new WS-10 Engines although quality sucks (too much for self pride) ...

well, adding small canard is a wrong direction of evolution to flankers ...it is unnecesary and breaks down the edge of its aerodynamic design.
from the start, CHinese realized that and didn't add small canard.

Once Russian added canard on su30 ,old su35 and su37...but later gave up small canard on new su35 and its lastest upgrade su27 for russian airforce,

J11b and su35 are two fruits evoluted in different directions from old su27..

BTW,as for military information tech and the deployment of modern military C4SIR system, RUssia has been left behind by CHInese a lot.

in fact, the deployment speed and scale of Chinese C4SIR system is the one that is growing fastest in the world.

it still can not match USA's,but now has outperformanced anyone else ,including EU and RUssia.

Chiense Beidou global navigation system and completion of data links is just a corner of one iceberg.

BTW,after upgradded with lastest digial and information tech, many old artilleries proved to be much more "smart","premise" and "prompt" than russia in joint excercise, although they were made in 1950s-1960s.

LOL, so many mistakes here...

1. J11B is single seat air superiority fighter to relace the old Su27SK and J11A. J11BS is twin seat but a replacement of Su27UBK. normally a PLAAF regiment owns 20single seat and 4 twin seats..a Su27 regiment using Su27SK,J11A and Su27UBK and a J11B regiment using J11B and J11BS

2. Su30MKK is twin seats and used as Multi-role fighter in PLAAF. its replacement will be J16. normally a Su30MKK regiment has 18 Jets. As we know ,an IAF Su30MKI unit owns 16...quite similar formation.

3. don't be deceived by the unreliable News. the relationship between the russian arm exporter and PLA is quite 'harmonious'. the original contract of 200 Su27sk license procduction was terminated by both sides in 2004 after the 105 J11A were produced. China began to build the J11B/BS, Russian has got the compensation --100 totally imported Su30MKK contract. Sukhoi is still willing and trying to sell the latest Su27SM to PLAAF and you can take the hint.

4. from the very beginning of import of Su27, china had very firm determination to build this jet totally by herself. J11B/BS ,J15,J16 are the results of the National will of 1990s.

5. the very first J11B regiment is 1st regiment of 1st Div. PLAAF...but we all know these jets are still using the AL31F. so the 5 J11B units are:
3 regiments from 1st, 19th,30th PLAAF Div, 111 Brigade , 1 regiment from 8th PLANAF Div.

so u say canards are obsolete & detrimental for aerodyanamics ,if thats the case then why have u add canards in ur 5th gen fighters & j15

OMG, please... you had a thread about WS10, don't u ? would you go there to find the answer? the link is in my first post in this thread.

The first batch of J-11B entered the service with PLAAF 1st Division in late 2007. this unit has 30 single seat J11B powered by AL31 ,and 4 J11BS with WS10

the rest 4 units are all equipped J11B/BS with WS10
they are :2 regiments from 19th and 30th PLAAF Div, 111 PLAAF Brigade ;1 regiment from 8th PLANAF Div

well they need to mass produce atleast WS 10 engines it before it can be taken as a success.Leave aside WS 15 for the time being..

As far as i know we see only pics of J10b ,J11b & J15 with ws 10a but pics dont prove that Chinese have inducted those planes in mass number .So we have to wait atleast 3-4 years when we could see what no of fighter squadron have they inducted with indigeniuos engines until them we can be skeptical
only professional spy can provide evidence u need....btw,pics of J10b ,J11b & J15 with ws 10a arent enough for military fans like us?
